As well as solo remixes, 2022 already has a plethora of projects underway including the 30 year anniversary and reunion of the legendary Black Science Orchestra – watch this space….
On this week's Campaign podcast, acting news editor Simon Gwynn and UK editor Maisie McCabe discuss one of the biggest stories to hit adland in recent years: the outcome of the JWT employment tribunal, and how coverage unfairly focused on Wunderman Thompson's Jo Wallace. Simon and Maisie then talk about one of the week's biggest new reviews – the consolidated global media account of food delivery giant Just Eat Takeaway – followed by some of the latest ads. In the second half of the episode, Maisie speaks to Kev Chesters and Mick Mahoney, strategy and creative partners at Harbour Collective, about their new book The Creative Nudge, and why it pays to ask "What would Gaga do?". "Being unreasonable means being prepared to dissent," Chesters says. "One of the problems we have in business is we reward consent... You can't be creative if it's not different – you have to be prepared to reward dissent."

HAPPY XMAS EVERYONE! We bring series one of What Goes Around to an end in fine style with a BUMPER Christmas cracker of a show featuring some familiar voices from our first year in the pod-o-sphere! What a show it is too, like many a Christmas we start off with a quick trip to A&E. Anne and Eamon reminisce about their experiences over the first 20 episodes and the amazing guests they have had on, then theres an exchange of gifts and warm glow of seasonal joy. From there we welcome a cavalcade of Christmas guests including M Z Harrison who pops in to wish us well and share her 'Solitary.Christmas' project with us. The wonderful Jo Wallace of Ramrock Records is back as our resident Agony Aunt, sharing her wisdom and bearing her soul to listeners in desperate need of advice. The irrepressible Wrongtom returns to help us choose our official What Goes Around Christmas theme. We have an alternative Queens speech from our very own Queen, Karen Arthur. And finally Bibi Lynch brings the show to a climax by offering Anne and Eamon the chance to share their own Phonographic Memories with you at last. We would like to say thank you to each and every listener who helped the show grow so fast this year and we would also like to offer our eternal gratitude to our fabulous roll call of guests: Wrongtom, M Z Harrison, Tim Plester, Hannah Cartwright, Pete Rogers, Marcus Brigstocke, Bibi Lynch, Karen Arthur, Tom Ravenscroft, Miles Chapman, Soweto Kinch, Kieron J Walsh, Jo Wallace, Wendy Erskine, Prof. Sophie Scott, Andy Dawson, Labi Siffre, Craig Charles & Malik Al Nasir. Double trouble on Out of the Box today with Jo Wallace and Heidi Haydon, locals of the inner-west area. Jo photographed Heidz as part of her rather successful Humans of Newtown. Heidi is paraplegic, after being hit by a ute while riding her motorcycle. Now, she's a motivational speaker and works to empower people with a spinal cord injury. Like what these ladies are doing? There are plenty of ways you can get involved. Humans of Newtown has been so popular that the blog has been turned in a book. This Saturday, is the Book Launch at Newtown Social Club. Heidz is running an online fundraising campaign alongside her brother this October. It's called Sing for Spinal Cord Injury and they want to raise $10, 000 for Spinal Cord Injuries Australia by encouraging musicians to record and upload a cover song every day in the month of October. You can donate here!

2100HRS (UK) Soup Sessions return for the wonderful Jo Wallace… “Jo Wallace started djing in 1976 and hasn’t stopped dropping the needle into the groove since. ‘Have records, will travel’ has allowed Jo to amble all over Europe and the UK to entertain like minded soul fanatics and the icing on the cake in 2013 was closing the Williams Green Stage @ Glastonbury after the Rolling Stones with her eclectic selection of Motown. Jo’s encyclopaedic knowledge of music trivia makes her a popular addition on any pub quiz team and has also lead to her being asked to compile for Universal/Motown. CD credits to date include Volumes 2-5 in the Soul Satisfaction series and most recently, ‘Motown Floorshakers’ in 2012. She also created the bespoke soundtracks for the ‘Versace’ and ‘Vivienne Westwood’ exhibitions @ the V&A, consulted on the Island & Motown 50th Anniversary celebrations and been a guest on Stuart McOnie’s ‘All Singing, All Dancing’ show on Radio 2 and also ‘Woman’s Hour’ on Radio 4. Her regular DJ residency is at Snowboy’s Friday night club ‘The Good Foot’ @ Madame JoJo’s… and her favourite radio station is Nova Lujon!” Not to be missed x TRACKLIST: 1.
