To wszystko i wiele więcej w dzisiejszym odcinku.

To twórczyni kultowego wazonu OKO i autorskiej ceramiki o kobiecych imionach (Teresa, Aniela, Anna, Irena...) i kształtach, sprzedawanej pod marką własną. O estetycznych inspiracjach i tworzeniu własnego „artystycznego alfabetu”.

The Europeans

In theory, the government's guy looks set to win Poland's presidential election, making life a hell of a lot easier for Donald Tusk as he attempts to undo eight years of destructive authoritarian rule under the previous rightwing populists. But might a pregnant nun swoop in and change everything at the last minute? For an explanation of this metaphor (and yes, it is just a metaphor), listen in to this week's great interview with Poland's best political YouTubers, Dominika Sitnicka and Agata Szczęśniak.

The company's flagship Oko project, discovered in late 2019, has already established a resource of over 2 million ounces, with an updated estimate expected in Q1 2025 following an additional 58,000 meters of drilling. The company has announced plans to split its assets into two entities. The core G2 assets, which host the current resource, will be positioned for sale, while the regional exploration properties will be spun out into a new company called G3 Goldfields. Current shareholders will receive G3 shares on a 1:2 ratio, allowing them to benefit from both the potential G2 sale and ongoing exploration upside.G2's success in Guyana has attracted significant attention from major mining companies, with AngloGold Ashanti taking a 15% stake in the company. This investment validates both G2's assets and Guyana as an emerging mining jurisdiction. The country has seen increased interest from international miners, partly driven by Exxon's major oil discoveries that have raised Guyana's profile with American investors. In preparation for a potential sale, G2 is completing key milestones, including converting claims to prospecting licenses and updating its resource estimate. The company has already completed a year of environmental baseline studies to facilitate future permitting processes. CEO Dan Noone emphasizes the supportive nature of Guyana's government and the efficiency of its permitting system. The new G3 entity will control approximately 44,000 acres of property north of the main G2 project area, including several historic mine sites such as Peters and Aremu. G2 plans to provide G3 with $5-10 million in initial funding to support its first year of exploration activities, allowing the new company to create value before seeking additional capital. The company's strategy reflects a focused approach to creating shareholder value: developing and de-risking assets to the point of sale rather than becoming a mine operator, while maintaining exploration upside through the G3 spin-out. This dual-track approach, combined with Guyana's emergence as an attractive mining jurisdiction and strong institutional backing, positions G2 Goldfields shareholders to potentially benefit from both near-term asset monetization and ongoing exploration success.View G2 Goldfields' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/g2-goldfieldsSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

It's 2025 and it's an all new That Real Blind Tech Show. Brian, David, Ed and Jeanine get together to kick off the new year mostly discussing CES. Not to worry as they are also up to their usual antics as well.   They start things off discussing what could already be the story of the year. We shit you not, but half of Americans carry around a spare pair of underwear! Which then leads to the questions all listeners have always had about the Hosts of That Real Blind Tech Show, Tightey Whiteys or Boxers?   We then move on to a serious topic and discuss how the New Orleans terrorist used the Meta Frames to plan part of his attack, and what this could mean for the development of technology that could assist people with disabilities.   We then discuss OKO moving to a subscription base for their service. Will you subscribe to it?   Next up we discuss the fun ride a man had in a Waymo self driving car.   AccessiBe finally has to face the music as the FTC has hit them with a million dollar fine.   Then it is on to our review of CES 2025. The first product we discuss is a new laptop from Lenovo that can grow, yes grow. While none of us see a lot of use in a laptop that can grow, the anger Solar Beach Umbrella and Power Packed Cooler could be in some of our future's. Razer is coming out with a new gaming chair the Arielle for those hard core gamers who suffer from Ass sweat! With all the robots at CES, we discuss the one that won the prize for cutest robot. HumanPod Ear buds are the latest exciting wearable, but will they be accessible? The roboRock Saros Vacuum will be able to pick up laundry and other stuff lying around the house. Schlage is coming out with a new Smart Door Lock that you will be able to unlock with your palm. Tapo is coming out with a Smart door Lock with a year of battery power. We close our 2025 coverage of CES discussing the Electric Salt spoon.   It's not just us that think Apple Intelligence is proving to be anything but intelligent! We then discuss our thoughts of Mac OS Sequoia.   And it's more of Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading.   To contact That Real Blind Tech Show, you can email us at ThatRealBlindTechShow@gmail.com, join our Facebook Group That Real Blind Tech Show, join us on the Twitter @BlindTechShow , or leave us an old school phone message at 929-367-1005.

Building Authentic Artist Dealer Relationships with Lisa Cooley

Ceri talks with Lisa Cooley, a former New York gallerist turned art advisor. Lisa shares how she went from being an accidental gallery worker to running her own acclaimed Lower East Side gallery for nine years. With remarkable honesty, she discusses the challenges of managing a gallery through a recession, the toll on mental and physical health, and the complexities of artist-dealer relationships. Now working as an art advisor and launching a new podcast called Oko, Lisa gives her experiences and thoughts on relationship building, collecting, and navigating the art world's unspoken rules. KEY TAKEAWAYS Throughout her career, Lisa discovered that running a gallery wasn't just about selling art; it required building genuine human connections that couldn't be scaled or rushed, even as the art world grew increasingly commercial. Lisa developed a unique approach to evaluating artwork, insisting on both an intellectual response and visceral visual pleasure, refusing to compromise on either aspect when choosing artists to represent. After closing her gallery, Lisa learned that being honest about failures and challenges - though often discouraged in the art world - ultimately led to deeper, more meaningful professional relationships. Through difficult experiences with artists, Lisa came to understand that gallery-artist relationships work best when treated as business partnerships, allowing for clearer boundaries and communication. Lisa's experience running her gallery during the 2008 recession taught her that sometimes working harder isn't the answer. When Lisa's health began suffering from overwork, she made the difficult but necessary decision to close her gallery, learning that physical and mental wellbeing must take precedence over art world pressures. As an art advisor, Lisa discovered that building collector relationships requires a 4-6 month period that's less about art education and more about understanding how people communicate and make decisions. Lisa found that small, thoughtful gestures, from handwritten notes to carefully chosen chocolates, often proved more effective in building lasting business relationships than grand gestures or aggressive sales tactics. BEST MOMENTS "Being candid is highly, highly punished, and I think it's only now with a lot of distance where I really feel comfortable trying to share as much as possible." "The gallerist-artist relationship is not a marriage. It is not family. It is a business relationship... A marriage is very different. It's reciprocal. And gallery-artist relationships are frequently not reciprocal." "Sometimes galleries just aren't that supportive..." "You can scale everything in the art world... but you can't scale the human relationships. That's impossible to scale."

Łącznie przywieźliśmy dla Was pięć rozmów.

G2 Goldfields - C$42 Million Secured for Aggressive Drilling in Guyana's Gold Rush

Interview with Dan Noone, CEO of G2 Goldfields Inc.Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/g2-goldfields-tsxvgtwo-significant-high-grade-gold-potential-district-scale-opportunity-5634Recording date: 1st October 2024G2 Goldfields (TSXV:GTWO) is emerging as a compelling investment opportunity in the gold exploration sector, with its strategic projects in Guyana's gold district. The company's CEO, Dan Noone, has outlined a clear vision for growth and value creation that merits investor attention. At the heart of G2 Goldfields' appeal is its flagship OKO project, which spans a significant 5-kilometer strike length. The company's aggressive drilling campaign, currently employing five rigs with a sixth on the way, aims to expand the known resource and potentially uncover new high-grade zones. This intensive exploration effort is expected to culminate in a resource update in early 2025, with Noone hinting at a potential resource exceeding 3 million ounces.A key aspect of G2 Goldfields' story is its proximity to G Mining's (formerly Reunion Gold) project. This adjacency has fueled speculation about potential consolidation or collaboration, which could unlock significant value for shareholders. Noone acknowledges this possibility, stating, "We see it as one very large deposit and at some stage we think it'll come together in some manner or form."To maximize shareholder value, G2 Goldfields is planning to spin out a new entity called G3. This strategic move will include exploration properties and historic mines not part of the main resource area, providing shareholders with additional exposure to exploration upside while allowing G2 Goldfields to focus on its core asset. The company's financial position is robust, having recently secured C$42 million in funding. This capital not only supports continued aggressive exploration but also strengthens G2 Goldfields' negotiating position in any potential deals. As Noone puts it, "We could drill for the next two and a half years and be fine. So no one's going to sit us in the corner and wait us out."Guyana's increasing attractiveness as a mining jurisdiction adds another layer to the investment thesis. The country has seen significant investment from major oil companies, establishing it as a stable and business-friendly environment. This positive perception could lead to increased interest in G2 Goldfields and other companies operating in the country. From a macro perspective, G2 Goldfields is well-positioned to capitalize on several trends in the global gold market. These include the ongoing demand for gold as a safe-haven asset, the industry-wide challenge of declining reserves and grades at existing operations, and the trend towards consolidation in the gold mining sector. However, investors should keep the potential risks in mind, including the inherent uncertainties of mineral exploration, potential volatility in gold prices, and operational challenges associated with mining in emerging markets. In conclusion, G2 Goldfields offers investors exposure to a promising gold exploration project in an emerging mining jurisdiction. With its strategic location, aggressive exploration program, strong financial position, and potential for industry consolidation, the company presents an intriguing opportunity for those looking to invest in the junior gold mining sector. As the company continues to advance its projects and explore strategic options, investors will be watching closely to see how this promising story unfolds.View G2 Goldfields' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/g2-goldfieldsSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
