Adelina, a GSRD sex coach and educator, explains that ethical non-monogamy is when individuals choose to open up their relationships outside of just one partner, both sexually and amorously. They emphasize the importance of communication, consent, and respect in ethical non-monogamous relationships. They debunk common misconceptions, such as the idea that ethical non-monogamy is a license to cheat, and highlight the need for emotional maturity and stability in relationships before opening them up. They also discuss the different types of non-monogamy, including polyamory, swinging, and relationship anarchy. In this conversation, Adelina Adler and Whitni discuss various aspects of ethical non-monogamy and polyamory. They explore topics such as relationship anarchy, jealousy vs. envy, the importance of informed consent, and the need to challenge societal norms and expectations. They emphasize the importance of communication, autonomy, and respect in non-monogamous relationships. Adelina also shares insights on recovering from heartbreak, managing time and scheduling, and the need for self-care and self-reflection. They encourage listeners to educate themselves, question societal constructs, and create their own relationship scripts. My guest, Alex Amorosi, shares his experience of multiple relationships in row that all ended very much the same. In each relationship, he gave so much of himself away that there was nothing left for him. Then, he reached the point when his inner voice spoke so loud and clear that he couldn't deny it any longer. He realized that the voice had always been there, but he had chosen not to listen to it. If you tend to give too much of yourself away in relationships, this episode is for you.Alex's Profile Be a GuestFollow on FacebookMaddox's LinksMailing List SignupRate & Review
In this episode, Maria and Tara are joined by therapist Sam Jolman for a cross-discipline discussion of what are called dual, complex, or multiple relationships in spiritual direction. What can we learn from the therapeutic understanding of multiple relationships? What imagination might we need for the spiritual direction space when it comes to dual roles? What questions might we bring to our own supervisors as we consider these relationships of holy listening? Sam is a professional therapist with over 15 years of experience in narrative-focused trauma care. He specializes in men's issues, couples counseling, and sexual abuse recovery. He writes regularly for his blog on topics of sexuality, spirituality, and mental health. He loves helping people heal and find freedom amidst the plots of their lives. He lives in Colorado with his wife and three young sons, the people that inspire his writing and ideas the most. Together, in their pop-up camper, they are exploring the best camping spots in Colorado. Sam goes to therapy, mountain bikes, and can be found trying to catch his breath on the floor of his local CrossFit gym. His forthcoming book, The Sex Talk You Never Got, is set to release with Thomas Nelson in the Spring '24. You can follow along and get his free ebook Story Formed at his website SamJolman.com
Today's episode of Research Like a Pro is about double cousins. Do you have any? We'll talk about how double cousins and other relatives with whom you share multiple relationships can affect DNA match analysis and genetic network analysis. Although double 3rd cousins don't always share an inflated amount of DNA, you can definitely tell they are double cousins in your network analysis. Join us as we discuss these issues. "How to know if polyamory is right for you: You are willing to be completely honest with yourself and others about your desires and actions. You have a deep desire to spend time exploring different aspects of yourself with different people, each on their own terms. You think you can handle the practical aspects of dating more than one person and are willing to work those out with your partners. You often have feelings for many people at the same time. The thought of connecting multiple people on an intimate level at the same time sparks joy and doesn't leave you feeling exhausted. You often daydream about being in a relationship with more than one person at a time. You feel confined by the idea of being with only one person. You feel capable of loving and committing to multiple people at the same time. You are OK with the idea of your partner having intimate relationships with other people. You feel like you could ultimately be your best self in a relationship with multiple people. You have done the research and spent time trying to fully understand the dynamics of polyamory. You feel like you could bring trust, respect, open communication, accountability, love, and honesty to multiple relationships at the same time. How to know if polyamory is not right for you: You are choosing polyamory in the hopes of fixing a broken monogamous relationship. The thought of having to consider, spend time with, and commit to multiple people feels exhausting. Anything outside of monogamy feels "unnatural" to you. You haven't spent time self-reflecting and understanding your triggers, insecurities, and past trauma relating to love and relationships." "Signs you might enjoy swinging: You fantasize about engaging in sex outside of your partnership. You get turned on by the idea of seeing your partner have sexual contact with other people. You're generally turned on by novelty and adventure. You and your partner are good at communicating and know how to work through any issues that arise. You are able to separate love and sex. You like to watch porn featuring group sex, wife swapping, or voyeurism. You and your partner trust each other completely. You and your partner sometimes dirty talk about group sex or partner swapping. You've had group sex in the past and thought it was hot. You're generally open-minded and sexually adventurous." --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/support

Monogamy used to be the way of marriage, but history and science has shown that Open Relationships are more common. Dr. Marcin Bela and I met in 2015 at his birthday party and soon after in 2017 we were married. Our relationship was Polyamorous from the beginning having both been married and explored Non-Monogamy before, we were clear on what we wanted. That however has not stopped us from continuing to figure out what works and what challenges us in our ethically non-monogamous lifestyle. This episode is a very candid conversation (we literally were in a passionate discussion minutes before recording) about what we have learned and how we stay curious along the way to keep discovering the ways to come together as we evolve. With insight and communication tips for any relationship dynamic, plus a first hand look at our marriage, this episode is one that I am especially excited to share. Thank you for welcoming my honored guest and incredible husband, Dr. Marcin Bela to get unbuckled ;)

Agency Nation Radio - Insurance Marketing, Sales and Technology
If you only have one, there's a good chance you're relying too much on that person and risking the sale. Instead, it's generally a good idea to make sure you know how to get a hold of a couple other human beings from the account. The more people you have rooting for you, the less likely it is for that account to be able to walk out the door. No matter what happens, your goal is to leave as many people as possible who want to continue a conversation. That's what I talk to Amy Franko, of Impact Instruction, about how she makes sure she always knows more than one person. Make sure to connect with Amy below: amyfranko.com The Modern Seller LinkedIn

Tonight we are talking about living with a sex addict or sexual addiction. Have you dated or are you currently living with someone who may be a sex addict? Studies indicate that food, abused drugs and sexual interests share a common pathway within our brains’ survival and reward systems. This pathway leads into the area of the brain responsible for our higher thinking, rational thought and judgment. The brain tells the sex addict that having illicit sex is good the same way it tells others that food is good when they are hungry. These brain changes translate into a sex addict’s preoccupation with sex and exclusion of other interests, compulsive sexual behaviour, despite negative consequences and failed attempts to limit or terminate sexual behavior. This biochemical model helps explain why competent, intelligent, goal-directed people can be so easily sidetracked by drugs and sex. The idea that, on a daily basis, a successful mother or father, doctor or businessperson can drop everything to think about sex, scheme about sex, identify sexual opportunities and take advantage of them seems unbelievable. How can this be? Join the conversation
