That Show Hasn't Been Funny In Years: an SNL podcast on Radio Misfits
Nick takes a hilarious stroll down memory lane to the night Peyton Manning traded his helmet for a hosting gig on Saturday Night Live. From Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler dishing it out as the "Bronx Beat" ladies, to Andy Samberg's wild take on Sanjaya and a surprise visit from Dan Aykroyd, the show was packed with standout moments. Things get especially weird (and wonderful) when Manning joins Kristin Wiig for a late-night sketch that goes completely off the rails. But the real showstoppers? That infamous United Way spoof where Manning's tough love with a bunch of kids turns into comic gold, and Will Forte's unforgettable dance-floor meltdown in the Locker Room sketch—one he still calls a personal favorite. With clips, commentary, and memories from both Manning and Forte, this one's a winning highlight reel from a surprisingly game host. [EP 123]

This week Andrew and Ted discuss Netflix's series "The Four Seasons" starring Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Erika Henningsen. Originally a 1981 motion picture directed and starring Alan Alda this series follows three college friend couples as they navigate through middle age and marriage.

Tina Fey returns to TV on the charming Netflix comedy The Four Seasons. It's about a group of couples whose friendship dynamic is rocked by their midlife crises. The impressive cast includes Colman Domingo, Will Forte, and Steve Carell. The MCU is once again in the spotlight as major Avengers: The Kang Dynasty leaks have surfaced online—and we're diving into everything we've learned. On today's episode of The Kristian Harloff Show, we break down the original plan for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, its evolution into Avengers: Doomsday, and what it all means for Marvel Phase 5, Secret Wars, and the future of the Multiverse Saga. Marvel Studios seems to have scrapped Kang as the main villain in favor of Doctor Doom—and for good reason. After Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania flopped and Jonathan Majors' legal issues became a major concern, insiders say the studio lost faith in the Council of Kangs storyline. Now, with Stephen McFeely rewriting both Avengers 5 and Secret Wars, and the Russo Brothers returning to direct, the entire direction has shifted. We're breaking down the leaked Kang Dynasty script that includes wild reveals like a Moon Knight team-up, Miles Morales' MCU debut, a Deadpool 3 crossover, and even a Spider-Man: No Way Home reunion. Plus, what role was Doctor Doom supposed to play before becoming the central threat in Avengers: Doomsday? And how does this affect the lead-in to Avengers: Secret Wars? Coyote movie—starring Will Forte, John Cena, and Lana Condor, directed by Dave Green and written by Samy Burch—was shelved for tax reasons despite strong test screenings. But now it's getting a theatrical release in 2026, with Ketchup shelling out close to $50 million for the rights. Produced by James Gunn, this film has become symbolic of Hollywood's internal battles between artistry and cost-cutting. Marvel. DC. Box office drama. Studio shakeups. Leaks. One day a whirl wind of events happens in each of their lives, Lainy thinks her boyfriend is going to propose marriage, when in fact he proposes a three way which leads to their breaking up. Kate on the other hand is already married and finds out she is pregnant. Both meet for lunch one day to share their news. Kate's news of her expecting, coupled with her recent relationship set back, sends Lainy into a tailspin as she always thought the two besties would be pregnant at the same time or at the least she would be first. While helping Kate shop for maternity clothes, Lainy discovers a fake belly bump at the store and puts it on. She loves the way it makes her feel so she steals it and goes around leading people to believe she is pregnant. During a yoga class for pregnant women Lainy befriends Megan (Howey) and they, because Kate can't find out Lainy is pretending to be pregnant, become "expecting best friends". That is until the gig is up and Lainy is forced, through circumstances, to reveal she is in fact not pregnant and has been pretending. Tune into "Streaming Without A Paddle" to find out if Andrew and Ted either took a bullet for you or you should give it a watch.

There's a sneaky little theme that unites the two movies we review on the latest episode of Breakfast All Day: They both feature impressive, A-list casts, and you can watch both of them right now on streaming. First, we discuss "Wolfs," an action comedy in which Brad Pitt and George Clooney play New York City fixers forced to team up on a wintry, all-night adventure. The film from writer-director Jon Watts mostly coasts on the considerable charm of its handsome actors. In select theaters and streaming on Apple TV+. Then, we review the hilarious and emotional documentary "Will & Harper." Will Ferrell and his longtime friend and collaborator, Harper Steele, go on a cross-country road trip after Steele transitions to live as a woman. The fellow "Saturday Night Live" alums they visit include Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Seth Meyers, Molly Shannon and Will Forte. In select theaters and streaming on Netflix. Over at our Patreon, we recap the latest episodes of "Only Murders in the Building" on Hulu and "Agatha All Along" on Disney+. No news this week because Alonso is in Dallas, but we do chat a bit at the beginning about the legendary Dame Maggie Smith, who died at 89. We'll honor her on our Patreon with our October Off the Menu poll, so if you're not already a member, you can join us here. And you can join us on person at The Frida Cinema in Santa Ana, where we're hosting a screening of John Carpenter's 1980 horror classic "The Fog." Mark your calendar for Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2pm, then stick around afterward and watch us record a podcast review of the film. Tickets are available here. We hope to see you!
