https://www.the-christ.net/blog/the-way-of-the-mysticThis opening session of "The Way of the Mystic" 2026 Weekend Online Revival, featuring David Hoffmeister, Marina Colombo, and Urpi Milla, sets a profound tone for a journey of spiritual awakening. The session introduces the weekend's central theme: Healing is a collaborative endeavour.David Hoffmeister begins by redefining collaboration through the lens of A Course in Miracles, suggesting that although it appears we collaborate with one another in the "world of form," we are truly learning to collaborate with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He emphasizes that this entire world was built on a foundation of ego-based hatred; therefore, a shift in purpose is required to allow forgiveness to replace our personal interpretations. This spiritual collaboration is not a solo journey but a "collaborative venture" in healing. The participants share personal insights and "miracles" that illustrate the power of following divine prompts rather than ego-based plans. The session concludes with an invitation to join in a shared prayer for innocence, moving beyond past memories of "right and wrong" to embrace the "isness" of God's love.Discover the Way of the Mystic Weekend Revivals. Embracing Spiritual Unity and Unconditional Love with David, Urpi, Erik and SusannahIn the opening session for the online weekend revivals, 'The Way of the Mystic,' David and Urpi explore how a cherished community song, played by Erik at the beginning, symbolizes spiritual unity and unconditional love. They begin to comment on the five themes chosen in the weekly poll that underlie all the sessions this weekend. The talk focuses on the meaning of loving others without seeking approval, examining the mystical idea that true love transcends physical perception. It suggests that our usual view of others as separate, physical beings is illusory and proposes that genuine unity is spiritual, requiring us to see innocence in everyone. A childhood anecdote about imaginary threats highlights how deeply ingrained perceptions can be deceptive, ultimately urging us to question these perceptions and look beyond surface appearances. For more information about The Way of the Mystic, David Hoffmeister, and Living Miracles events, visit https://www.the-christ.net/eventsRecorded live on October 3, 2025, Online, Mexico.Follow us on:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/DavidHoffmeister Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ACIM.ACourseInMiracles Learn more about David & Living Miracles: https://livingmiraclescenter.orgLearn more about A Course in Miracles: https://ACIM.bizDavid's Spanish Youtube Channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP9Gw00CldPUmiu43y7fdWw

Presented by Lauren S. Hughes, MD, MPH, MSc, MHCDS, University of ColoradoSTFM Conference on Practice & Quality Improvement 2025 Opening Session | Monday, September 8, 2025As value-based care (VBC) continues to reshape the health care landscape, it is critical that family medicine residency programs prepare the next generation of physicians to not only adapt to policy changes but to lead them. This session explores how physician engagement at the state and federal levels can directly influence primary care transformation—and how those lessons can be brought back to the clinic and the classroom.Drawing on firsthand experience from launching the Pennsylvania Rural Health Model, a multi-payer global budget model focused on rural and frontier hospitals, and co-chairing the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) Standing Committee on Primary Care, Dr Hughes will share insights on how to drive high-impact policy change through coalition building, data-driven decision making, and visionary leadership. These experiences will be directly tied to strategies for training future family physicians to navigate and influence the evolving world of VBC.Special attention will be given to the implications of VBC in rural and underserved communities, where innovation leverages robust community partnerships, deep knowledge of local health care needs, and a strong commitment to well-being. The talk will also explore how the current federal administration's policy directions may influence VBC and graduate medical education – and how training programs can remain agile and proactive in this shifting environment.Attendees will leave better equipped to train, support, and inspire future family physician leaders, those who can bridge the gap between policy and practice to deliver high-quality, equitable primary care.Learning ObjectivesUpon completion of this session, participants should be able to:Describe how physician leaders can influence health policy at the state and federal levels by exploring examples focused on rural health and primary care.Identify effective strategies to teach residents about the evolving value-based care landscape, especially in rural and underserved communities.Discuss the potential impact of the current federal administration's policies on value-based care initiatives and residency training.Copyright © Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, 2025Lauren S. 1st Session - Opening Session, "Do Not See Error" with David Hoffmeister at Awakening to Love Center, Torrox, Spain In this talk David discusses the importance of understanding forgiveness and the role of the Holy Spirit in guiding us through life. He emphasizes that everything we perceive as linear time is a false perception invented by the ego, and God is eternal. The Holy Spirit, also known as the Holy Ghost, is an immortal being capable of seeing errors but always looking to the light of truth. This makes the Holy Spirit the answer in any situation.David also discusses the Ten Commandments, emphasizing the importance of loving the Lord like God with all one's heart, soul, and light. Jesus emphasized the first two commandments, and it is more helpful to focus on them. Focusing on the second commandment, "Love thy neighbor as thyself," allows for a unified awareness where all symbols are seen as the same.Forgiveness is about not seeing errors or being unaware. It does not involve recognizing harm or wrongdoing, as it is already bought by the ego's bait. There is no need for forgiveness in heaven, as all is one, and forgiveness is unknown in heaven. However, forgiveness is essential for overcoming the ego's trap and finding true peace in pure love, oneness, and pure God.If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and the Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://www.the-christ.net/eventsRecorded, Morning October 25, Torrox, Spain.

This week, Surfing the MASH Tsunami looks back on interviews Roger Green conducted during the EASL Congress itself. This conversation with Fatty Liver Alliance Founder and CEO Mike Betel took place Wednesday of Congress week, a day for special sections and industry presentations, but one day before the General Session opened. The first part of the conversation centered on the Patient Advocate session that Mike chaired with Shira Zelber-Sagi. (This is the focus of Season 5 Episode 23.) The goal of this session was to discuss barriers to addressing unmet needs in a clinical setting and explore potential solutions. He listed the speakers and their topics, and then went straight to his key takeaway: patients around the world are having challenges getting personal attention and time from their treaters. He mentions one panelist who once told a doctor, "I know you're listening but you're not hearing me." The conversation also touched on stigma and how it comes into these discussions. The rest of this interview touched briefly on the Opening Session and a couple of industry-sponsored sessions Mike attended. His final point was to emphasize the exceptional opportunities for networking at an event like this one.

#1 Mexico City: Opening Session - Recordar a Dios (Remember God)- One-Day RetreatDavid and the Living Miracles team share an opening session in Mexico City. Marina Colombo and Ana Paola offer the Spanish translations of David's English spoken words. This day's theme is remembering God, which requires us to forget this world and come with open arms to our God. Jesus calls us to remember God before time, as He was before Abraham, and we are. The Course in Miracles teaches us that atonement is a complete escape from the past, and the ego does not understand this. To remember God, we must forget all thoughts of time and be practical. Jesus knows we need steps to accept this, such as vanishing memories, letting go of everything we've learned, and even letting go of the future. The ego has invented linear time, splitting time into past and future compartments, part of being human. The belief in the past and future is a trick to keep us from remembering God.If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded on the Morning of November 25, 2023, in Mexico City, Mexico.
