The promises of God for our lives are some of the most important things we need to know, yet we are mostly ignorant of what they are and how to properly apply them. Many Christians don't even know they they should bother learning the promises - isn't salvation enough-- When we don't understand the promises, we miss out on a lot of what God wants for our lives. As we grow in our relationship with God and learn to trust in the promises of God, we will find that God wants us to have a fruitful, joyful, Christ-centered life -which we will talk about next week-.
