Show Notes Eddie Generous is the owner of Unnerving, which publishes the popular Unnerving Magazine as well as numerous novellas and short stories collections. Eddie has fallen off three different roofs and been lit on fire on multiple occasions. He grew up on a farm and later slept with his shoes under his pillows in homeless shelters. He dropped out of high school to afford rent on a room at a crummy boarding house, but eventually graduated from a mediocre college. He is the author of several small press books, has 2.8 rescue cats (one needed a leg amputation), is a podcast host, and lives on the Pacific Coast of Canada. We recorded this interview with Eddie in the middle of 2020, and since then he has announced that the Rewind or Die novella series will continue into 2021! This week we have a special bonus episode with our friend Evan! Evan's mom Morgan was a Guest on SarahTalk waaaaaay back at the beginning in Episode 9 (Jan 2016) where her then-identified daughter was starting to become more and more adamant that he didn't feel like a girl on the inside.  At the time, Morgan was preparing for all the various possibilities, including that Evan might be transgender. We checked back in with Morgan on Episode 73 (Sept 2017) by which time Evan had transitioned in most of his life (school, family, friends, etc) and picked his new name. We were delighted to have Dr. Shannon Inglet join us in-studio to talk about her life growing up in a polygamist sect here in Utah.   When people learn that Shannon grew up in a polygamist home, they immediately lean forward and say something like, “That is so interesting!” And it was. But it was also terrible. And, in retrospect, it was ludicrous to the point of hilarity.   Shannon Inglet was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned a doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Utah and currently practices as a medication safety specialist for a large Utah hospital. Her favorite people in the world are her wonderful husband and adorable two year old son; her favorite canine is a Doberman named Tesla. This one is a lot. We lose Alex and Nadia in the same episode, which has to be one of Krista's worst fears for the show. We see Ben do the unthinkable - summon the Smoke Monster - and the fracture of Locke's group when Claire's house is blown up, and Sawyer finally decides he's had enough of this shit. On the beach, Jack has a tummy ache, but he's more concerned with the fact that the doctor from the freighter has washed up on the beach with his throat slashed. Character Profile - "Princess Hannah" Episodes 19" - *For the next several weeks nine characters will be focused on to either introduce new characters or re-introduce those previously mention in episodes, Mitsrayim: A Memoir book, stage play episodes, websites. In this Episode 19, Nichel Anderson will focus on a new character never before introduced in any previous creative medium for public access: Princess Hannah - the daughter of King Mahlon and Queen Hagar and soon to be in the future timeline of the book: Mitsrsayim: A Memoir the older sister of Princess Aamina. In the Nichel Anderson Short Stories And Beyond, though, Princess Hannah is a young 7-8 year old princess and very much impressionable by her strong mother and father, especially, with Queen Hagar.
