In this deeply personal and transformative episode, Father's Mirror, Chris Thomas invites listeners into a powerful reflection on fatherhood, identity, and legacy. Drawing from personal experiences, biblical principles, and cultural insight, this episode explores how the image of a father shapes not just the direction of a child's life — but also the rhythm of an entire generation.Chris poses the question: What do we see when we look in the mirror and is that reflection shaped by the presence or absence of a father?Through raw storytelling and introspective teaching, this episode unpacks: • The Role of a Father as a Mirror: How a father's love, words, silence, or absence can serve as a reflective surface that influences our confidence, decisions, and sense of worth. • Repairing the Reflection: How to heal from distorted images passed down through trauma, abandonment, or generational brokenness — and how to reclaim your true identity. • Biblical Foundation: A look into scriptures that show God as the ultimate Father — a mirror of consistency, strength, and restoration for those with father wounds. • Restoration vs. Replication: The choice every man and woman must make — will you replicate what you've seen, or rise to restore what you didn't receive? • Breaking the Cycle: Strategies for fathers, mothers, and mentors to interrupt unhealthy generational patterns and reflect God's love, wisdom, and discipline to the next generation. This isn't just an episode about fathers — it's an invitation to look within, confront the reflections that have shaped you, and decide what image you'll pass on. Whether you're a father, a son, a daughter, or someone walking the path of healing, Father's Mirror will challenge you to lead with clarity, rebuild with grace, and become the mirror you wish you had.Join the PaceSet Network Communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/pacesetnetwork/?ref=share_group_linkTrade w/ Chris Workshophttps://www.paceset.org/product-page/mid-day-trade-with-chris UNTapped Personal Development Serieshttps://www.paceset.org/category/all-productsGet your Natural Supplementshttps://partner.co/?custid=N6085630FNX Fitness | Promo Code: TEMPO for 30% offhttps://fnx.grsm.io/tempowithchrisRobinhood | Earn free Stock https://join.robinhood.com/christt-ab92f7Coinbase | Earn up to $200 in BTChttps://coinbase.com/join/BERXNCT?src=ios-link

Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. And today, we're thanking Kim Sheffield from San Jose, CA. Kim, your support through Project23 helps others see the light of Christ in Scripture—day by day. This one's for you. Today, we're looking at Mark 4:21-25: And he said to them, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket, or under a bed, and not on a stand? For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” — Mark 4:21-25 Jesus moves from seeds and soil to lamps and light. He asks the room a simple question: "Who lights a lamp and hides it under a basket or under a bed?" The question is rhetorical, and the answer is obvious—"Nobody does that!" That would defeat the purpose. But then Jesus connects that lamp to truth—to revelation, understanding, and obedience. God's truth isn't meant to be tucked away or kept in private. His truth is meant to shine. Jesus then says: “For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest.” In other words, God reveals truth so it can be shared. He uncovers things not to conceal—but to display. And when he illuminates your life, he expects you to live in the light of understanding and share that understanding. He expects you to use it. Then He presses in further: “Pay attention to what you hear.” With the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. That's both encouragement and warning. The more open you are to the Word, the more light you'll receive. But the more you ignore it, the easier it is to lose even what you had. Truth is a gift given—but it's also a responsibility to bear. We're not just called to hear it and consume it. We're called to live it and share it. So, what are you doing with the light you've been given? Are you hiding it in fear? Are you keeping it to yourself? Or are you projecting and proclaiming it for others to see? #LiveTheLight, #Mark4Devotional, #Project23 ASK THIS: What truth has God recently illuminated for you? How are you using what you've heard from Scripture? Are you guarding the light—or giving it away? What would it look like to “pay attention” to God's Word today? DO THIS: Take one truth God has revealed to you—and share it boldly with someone today. PRAY THIS: Father, thank you for revealing your truth to me through your Word. Help me not to hide it, but to live and share it boldly today. Amen. PLAY THIS: Shine On Us.

Romans Vol. 1 - Coming Under GracePaul shows that God's wrath against idolatry is expressed by giving people over to their own desires—seen most clearly in sexual sin—and that this is not merely a matter of personal preference but a rejection of God's design. Yet, the gospel offers hope and transformation to all sinners, including those caught in sexual brokenness, reminding us that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace.Sermon Preached by Chris Lewis on May 25, 2025Foothill Church exists to glorify God by living as disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus. https://foothill.churchLearn about our For the Sake of His Name 2-Year Discipleship Journey: https://foothill.church/FTSOHN

Do You Believe that “He {God} gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”? MESSAGE SUMMARY: You have got to believe; but until you get your thinking right, your life will not change – you have got to believe! It is hard for some people, today, to believe in the miraculous birth of Jesus celebrated on Christmas day. Ok, just start where you are in what you believe. Can you believe that you are a sinner? Can you believe that you are not perfect? Can you believe that you have violated God's laws? Despite this life background, can you believe that God loves you just as you now are? Can you believe that God sent His Only Son, Jesus, to save all that believe in Him so that you would not perish but have eternal life? Maybe this is where you start in believing in the miraculous birth of Jesus; you need to start where you are. Jesus' life was defined by His death on the cross and by His resurrection, thereby, living up to the translation of His name, Jesus – “Salvation”. The Apostle John succinctly summarized the purpose of Jesus birth in John3:16-17: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.". TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, fill me with the simple trust that even out of the most awful evil around me, you are able to bring great good — for me, for others, and for your great glory. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 91). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will seek God's perspective on my situation. For I know that in all things God works together for good to those of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose. How was Jesus able to perform so many miracles, teach boldly, and even forgive sins (an act typically reserved for God alone)? Answer: he possessed authority from God, which enabled and empowered him to do all these wondrous feats. This week's episode examines how the Gospel of Matthew illustrates Christ as a human being with whom God has shared his authority. This week in Say Yes, Eric showed how your unique gifts and wiring matter deeply to God—and that your life finds purpose when you align it with his kingdom. Drawing from Jesus' parable in Matthew 25, we learned that the point isn't “use your gifts or else,” but rather an invitation to live a life of meaning, shaped by a generous God. When you believe that God made you on purpose, for a purpose, with a purposeful design, you can stop striving and start living faithfully right where you are. That's the invitation: Say Yes to God's kingdom purpose in your life.

Discover why so many believers today aren't walking in the power God promised! In this message, Pastor Todd reveals the surprising Biblical pattern that prevents Christians from experiencing God's miraculous power in their daily lives. Through the fascinating story of Moses nearly being killed by God despite having just received his divine commission, you'll learn how our human perspective often blocks divine perspective. Are you tired of living a powerless Christian life while Jesus promised believers would do "even greater works"? This message unpacks the critical difference between depending on human wisdom versus operating in the Spirit of God. Delve into powerful Scripture passages from Exodus, Isaiah, 1 Corinthians, and more that reveal how we can tap into God's supernatural power through the mind of Christ. The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is a prophecy of actual things to come. In this lesson on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast, Dr. John G. Mitchell begins an exposition of this book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.Welcome to the beginning of this study in the one last book of the Bible. This book is written by the Apostle John, as he himself says in Rev. 1:4 and 9. "John to the seven churches" and "I, John, yourbrother.."Dr. Mitchell will in this lesson give a short overview of the writings of the Apostle John, who is the author of not only this prophecy but also of his Gospel and the three Epistles of John. Next, Dr. Mitchell goes on to give us a short bird's eye view of this book of the the Revelation itself. So, lets open our Bible to Revelation chapter 1 here with Dr. John G. Mitchell.
The enemy's been after your voice for years—using discouragement, distraction, and depression to shut you down. But hope isn't just a feeling—it's a weapon, and it's time you learned how to wield it. This episode will light up your path like a prophetic flare and help you reclaim the voice God gave you.
After weeks of unpacking the weight of sin, the deception of idolatry, and the power of Jesus' blood, this episode shifts our focus to what comes next: stewardship. Salvation is not the finish line—it's the foundation. God calls us to build on what Christ has accomplished by faithfully managing everything He has entrusted to us: His Word, His Spirit, His mission, His presence, and our everyday lives. In this message, we explore how the Kingdom of God grows in our lives to the degree that we steward what we've been given. Many believers stop at conviction but never cross into transformation. Why? Because they never steward the truth they've received.Through practical teaching and Scripture, we break down: • What biblical stewardship really means (Psalm 24, Matthew 25, 1 Corinthians 4) • Why stewarding your heart is the key to lasting fruit (Matthew 13) • How abiding in Christ through His Word, prayer, and love empowers your daily walk (John 15) • What it means to obey before the storm hits, and why unseen obedience matters (Matthew 7) • How spiritual responsibility impacts your influence, gifts, and relationships (1 Corinthians 9) • Why stewardship will always require sacrifice—and how God meets you in surrender (Matthew 10)Whether it's your schoolwork, job, time, gifts, or relationships—this episode will challenge you to stop coasting and start cultivating. Because what you don't steward, you will eventually lose. But what you faithfully manage in the Lord, He will multiply.“We will give an account—not just for what we heard, but for what we did with what we heard.”This is your invitation to step into maturity and live a life that bears fruit—through every season, every assignment, and every sacrifice.

In this message, Pastor Caleb discusses using the resources that God gives His people to obey Him. Jesus gives resources to God's people not to hide away but to fulfill the Great Commission within their lives. It is important to live in a relationship with Jesus Christ and not assume Who He is. A faith in Jesus will produce an obedience to use the resources given to glorify God. What are you doing with what God gave you? Lately, I've been seeing the battle lines—both spiritual and political—being drawn more clearly than ever. As chaos unfolds around the world, I'm unpacking how it's all connected to God's bigger plan for our nation and why now is the time for believers to rise and move with purpose. This message carries a prophetic urgency to help you stand firm and shine in the middle of the storm.
May the God of Wonders Bless You!

What does it mean for God to give sinners over?
LESSON 65My Only Function Is The One God Gave Me.The idea for today reaffirms your commitment to salvation. It also reminds you that you have no function other than that. Both these thoughts are obviously necessary for a total commitment. Salvation cannot be the only purpose you hold while you still cherish others. The full acceptance of salvation as your only function necessarily entails two phases; the recognition of salvation as your function, and the relinquishment of all the other goals you have invented for yourself. This is the only way in which you can take your rightful place among the saviors of the world. This is the only way in which you can say and mean, “My only function is the one God gave me.” This is the only way in which you can find peace of mind.Today, and for a number of days to follow, set aside ten to fifteen minutes for a more sustained practice period, in which you try to understand and accept what the idea for the day really means. Today's idea offers you escape from all your perceived difficulties. It places the key to the door of peace, which you have closed upon yourself, in your own hands. It gives you the answer to all the searching you have done since time began.Try, if possible, to undertake the daily extended practice periods at approximately the same time each day. Try, also, to determine this time in advance, and then adhere to it as closely as possible. The purpose of this is to arrange your day so that you have set apart the time for God, as well as for all the trivial purposes and goals you will pursue. This is part of the long-range disciplinary training your mind needs, so that the Holy Spirit can use it consistently for the purpose He shares with you.For the longer practice period, begin by reviewing the idea for the day. Then close your eyes, repeat the idea to yourself once again, and watch your mind carefully to catch whatever thoughts cross it. At first, make no attempt to concentrate only on thoughts related to the idea for the day. Rather, try to uncover each thought that arises to interfere with it. Note each one as it comes to you, with as little involvement or concern as possible, dismissing each one by telling yourself:This thought reflects a goal that is preventing me from accepting my only function. After a while, interfering thoughts will become harder to find. Try, however, to continue a minute or so longer, attempting to catch a few of the idle thoughts that escaped your attention before, but do not strain or make undue effort in doing this. Then tell yourself:On this clean slate let my true function be written for me.You need not use these exact words, but try to get the sense of being willing to have your illusions of purpose be replaced by truth. Finally, repeat the idea for today once more, and devote the rest of the practice period to trying to focus on its importance to you, the relief its acceptance will bring you by resolving your conflicts once and for all, and the extent to which you really want salvation in spite of your own foolish ideas to the contrary. In the shorter practice periods, which should be undertaken at least once an hour, use this form in applying today's idea:My only function is the one God gave me.I want no other and I have no other.Sometimes close your eyes as you practice this, and sometimes keep them open and look about you. It is what you see now that will be totally changed when you accept today's idea completely.- Jesus Christ in ACIM
