Watch the Devotion Based on Romans 8:28-39 Nothing Can Separate You Our daughter got married last month, and someone was missing at that wedding. Our son-in-law's younger brother could not attend. He is currently in school, training to be a diver for the Navy, and of course, he had training that weekend. My brother-in-law who serves in the US Army had to report to his new duty station that weekend, and he missed the wedding celebration. That's hard for a family and for the war fighter who signed up to give their entire life in service to their country. Separation. This is a common theme I hear when I listen to war fighters who are deployed or in school. When I was in Korea and Okinawa in June, I asked our Soldiers and Marines, “What's been the thing that you struggle with the most?” Separation. Missing out on weddings, birthdays, the birth of a child, anniversaries, funerals—one naval officer missed his son's high school graduation in Japan this spring. The other answer I receive is this: “We miss church. Yes, we can watch online, but it's not the same. We miss being in person with our church family.” There is another side of separation that I think applies here. As a war fighter, especially one who has experienced trauma or moral injury, symptoms of depression and anxiety can create a separation in the relationships you have; sometimes it's a past tense “had.” That's difficult. As you think about all these types of separation, the Apostle Paul asks the question that we need to ask, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (Romans 8:35). Now, the Apostle Paul isn't implying that your other relationships aren't important. They are important. But isn't the most important relationship that we can have with Christ, our Savior? When we experience deep separation from family, from major life events, from church family, it helps to know where we stand with him. Paul answers the question for us: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38,39). You will miss major life events. Your heart will ache because many miles and circumstances isolate you from others who love you. But there is no distance, no circumstance, no military order that can keep Christ from being present with you, nor can it keep him from loving you. He is there with you right now as you listen to these words. He has promised it. He is with your loved ones and friends. He promises it. He loves them. He loves you. The proof is that he chose to be separated from God his Father on the cross so that you might never know separation from God. When you feel that you are missing God's presence in your life, pick up this book. Open up to Romans chapter 8 and read it out loud. And listen. God speaks to your heart. God makes his love known to you in Christ. God is present. Nothing can separate you from his love for you. Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, when our war fighters and their families and friends are lonely, be present as you promise. Make your love known to them as they open your Word to hear you speak peace and love and forgiveness to them. Reunite all war fighters with their families in your good time. Keep them connected to you, the one who did not allow even death to come between you and your love for them. In your name I pray. Amen. Written and recorded by Rev. Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital spoilers suggest the birth of Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner)'s baby incites drama amidst the family dynamics. Aunt Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) expresses her disapproval of the split parent situation and fears for the well-being of the newborn. This is not the first time Stella has meddled in Curtis's love life; she previously tried to reconcile his marriage to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). However, this time there's a child involved, and the stakes are higher. GH spoilers indicate that Stella's meddling becomes more apparent when she tries to keep Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) away from the family, hoping for a reunion between Curtis and Portia. Stella's interference seems to stem from a place of love, but her actions could potentially harm others in the process. Spoilers for General Hospital reveal the situation is further complicated by the pain Curtis still carries from not having a chance to help raise Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and his resentment towards Isaiah for being involved in his son's life. Portia's defense of her actions and her relationship with Isaiah has only added fuel to the fire. The General Hospital fandom is holding onto hope that the paternity test was tampered with, and Isaiah is the real biological father of baby Desmond. As Stella's meddling continues, it remains to be seen whether Curtis and Portia will succumb to her schemes or stand their ground for the sake of their children. Golf has never been the loudest sport, but Netflix's The Hawk is making the case that it should be. Will Ferrell stars as Lonnie Hawkins, a pro golfer chasing the fame he had at his 2004 peak, complete with a signature drink, a colorful camper and outfits that could stop traffic on the back nine. In this two-part conversation, Ferrell and Molly Shannon, reuniting on screen for the first time since Talladega Nights, tell me why golf is such an infuriating game and what makes Lonnie so fun to play. Reshma Saujani, is a leading activist, an author, the founder of Girls Who Code, the founder and CEO of Moms First, host of My So-Called Midlife podcast, and executive producer of the new documentary No Country for Mothers. Named one of TIME's Women of the Year in 2026, Reshma has spent more than a decade building movements to fight for women and girls' empowerment. In this conversation we discuss No Country for Mothers, which argues that American motherhood has been deliberately designed to divide and distract women through false culture-war choices like “trad wife vs. girl boss.” We also talk about how childcare was once a bipartisan policy, how New York City's universal childcare can be a model for what's possible, and making childcare and paid leave defining voter issues in the midterms.Connect with Reshma: Website | Instagram | Substack | DocumentaryIf you're looking to unleash your potential, find your personal, professional, or political fire, and to connect with a community who is doing the same, click here to learn more. Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comToday you are going to hear an important story brought you by 3 MK ULTRA survivors who are bravely and courageously step up to tell us the harrowing childhood story they all have in common. Introducing: Stanford Research Institute mind-control experiment survivors: Frida, Ariadne, and Marc Victor and Marc's amazing partner, Marina Low!Taking a few quotes off Wikipedia: “Stanford Research Institute (which we will be abbreviating to ‘SRI' during this production and which is presently referred to as ‘SRI International') is an American non-profit research institute and organization headquartered in Menlo Park, California. The trustees of Stanford University established SRI in 1946 as a center of innovation to support economic development in the region. The organization was founded as the Stanford Research Institute. SRI formally separated from Stanford University in 1970 and became known as SRI International in 1977. SRI performs client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, commercial businesses, and private foundations.Herbert Hoover, then a trustee of Stanford University, was also an early proponent of an institute but became less involved with the project after he was elected president of the United States. In April 1953, Walt and Roy Disney hired SRI (and in particular, Harrison Price) to consult on their proposal for establishing an amusement park in Burbank, California. SRI provided information on location, attendance patterns, and economic feasibility. SRI selected a larger site in Anaheim, prepared reports about operation, and provided on-site administrative support for Disneyland and acted in an advisory role as the park expanded. As a belated response to Vietnam War protesters who believed that funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) made the university part of the military–industrial complex, the Stanford Research Institute split from Stanford University in 1970. The organization subsequently changed its name from the Stanford Research Institute to SRI International in 1977.In 1972, physicists Harold E. Puthoff and Russell Targ undertook a series of investigations of psychic phenomena sponsored by the CIA, for which they coined the term remote viewing. In 1986, SRI.com became the 8th registered ".com" domain. In December 2007, SRI launched a spin-off company, Siri Inc., which Apple acquired in April 2010.[105] In October 2011, Apple announced the Siri personal assistant as an integrated feature of the Apple iPhone 4S.[106] Siri's technology was born from SRI's work on the DARPA-funded CALO project, described by SRI as the largest artificial intelligence project ever launched.[107] Siri was co-founded in December 2007However, what they don't tell us about on Wikipedia about SRA are the horrific MK ULTRA mind control experiments that were going on behind the scenes from 1953 until 1969 at the hands of ‘Dr. Green' himself, aka: Josef Mengele on innocent children. But we are about to change that today as 3 amazing survivors come forward to share their stories with you. This is important because we often forget the vastness of where these experiments were allowed to happen. There have been many survivors on this podcast who alleged horrific abuses that happened to them within academic institutions, and we know also that secret ‘scouting' societies such as the Skull and Bones also exist within many highly reputable ivy league universities. For the sake of our own discernment and for the safety of our children and youth, we need to be brave enough to lift the veil off whatever is elevated in society and look beyond what is obvious until we come to a place of truth. And today, Friday, Marc, Marina and Ariandne are here to lift the veil with us and for us.I ask that you grab a pen and paper, take lots of notes, and give these incredible survivors your full attention. What you are about to hear you won't hear in any mainstream publication and even online, it's very hard to find information surrounding MK ULTRA and SRI.MARC & MARINA'S YT DOCUMENTARY:"The Valley: Inside MK ULTRA" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-n-d6Bn8Vg
