Michael Wenger is a Hoffman teacher and past Director of Hoffman International. In this conversation, he shares stories of the early days when the Hoffman Process was first introduced in European countries. This is a delightful conversation about the Hoffman Process's early days, how the Process spread internationally, and about Michael and his spiritual journey.** Michael first learned about the Process in August '86 from his brother who participated in the first European Process. Michael then participated in the second European Process in early '87. Both of these were taught in Germany. Students of these first two Processes then opened Hoffman Institute centers in Germany, France, and Austria, helping to begin to spread the Process throughout Europe. Michael decided to become a Hoffman teacher himself. Fluent in four languages, he helped Bob Hoffman translate the teachings he experienced in English into the four languages he knew. Eventually, Michael helped establish the Hoffman Institute in Italy alongside his sister, Hoffman teacher, Lisa Wenger. Over the years. Michael taught the Hoffman Process within various cultural settings. He came to see the various ways that each culture approached the work differently. Michael shares how each culture approaches the work differently. As he says, the cultural differences become clear because the Process is the same no matter where it is taught. ** This episode mentions substance abuse and is marked explicit for language. Please use your discretion. We hope you enjoy this conversation with Michael and Drew. More about Michael Wenger: After an adventurous youth exploring many limits of lifestyles and consciousness, working as a DJ, Barman, and Actor, Michael met Bob Hoffman in 1987 and attended one of the first Hoffman Programs in Europe. Being fluent in four languages, Michael then followed Bob who was introducing Hoffman to many different countries, thus being able to move quickly through the training to become a Hoffman Process Teacher under the supervision of Bob. In 1990 he assisted his sister Lisa in introducing the Hoffman Institute in Italy and facilitating the Hoffman program for over thirty years. For eight years he also worked as one of the three executive directors of Hoffman Institute International. (Photo, L-R: Michael, Bob Hoffman, Lisa Wenger, Beatrice Wenger) For the past few years, apart from occasionally teaching the Hoffman Process, Michael has been dedicating his time to exploring non-dual awareness and meditation, facilitating retreats (www.camminoaperto.info) inspired by Pir Elias Amidon, Rupert Spira, Ramesh Balsekar, and many other mystical teachers. He lives in the hills above Lugano, Switzerland. In this enlightening episode of "Becoming Undone," I'm thrilled to share an insightful conversation with Jagjot Singh, a luminary in the realm of non-duality.During a challenging period in 2023, I came across Jagjot's blog and had a profound realization: "There is no doer." This insight revealed that life unfolds through divine will rather than individual effort.Jagjot, who transitioned from a corporate career after a life-changing event, shares a pivotal moment inspired by Ramesh Balsekar's teachings. He describes how he surrender happened through grace and a spontaneous understanding of non-doership. As he puts it: "Surrender happens when it happens, and not a moment sooner."Together, we explore the interplay between "free will" and predestined events, and what occurs for an individual after recognising their true nature. Join us as we dive into the art of non-doership, Advaita Vedanta (Non-duality) and explore the teachings of many wise sages who remind us of how true bliss emerges as a state of ever-present peace underlying every single experience.Click here to check out Jagjot's blogs (highly recommended!)Work with me - Click here to book in your free 45 min coaching consultation. Could you imagine a condition that affects virtually every organ, eludes the standard diagnostic criteria, and causes multi-system inflammation? Meet the perplexing world of mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). MCAS is an elusive condition that affects many, yet remains largely misunderstood. MCAS is a syndrome that triggers multi-system inflammation, and due to its diverse range of symptoms, it often eludes typical diagnostic processes. It has a profound impact on both the body and mind. Mast cells are integral to our innate immune system, playing a crucial role in safeguarding us against foreign invaders, allergens, and environmental toxins. However, potential triggers of mast cell hyperactivity can range from environmental toxins to mold.   Today I'm with Dr. Bruce Hoffman and we dissect this complex condition and delve into the critical role of mast cells in our immune system. Learn how mast cells, our body's fierce protectors against toxins, might turn hyperactive due to triggers like environmental toxins, heavy metals, or mold, launching a cell danger response that could send your body into a protective shutdown. The conversation takes a deeper turn as we explore the intersection of physical and mental health. Focusing on those battling MCAS and early developmental trauma, Dr. Hoffman shares invaluable self-regulation strategies and lends insight into the significance of neurofeedback and building a window of tolerance.    Dr. Hoffman is board-certified and has a fellowship in anti-aging medicine as well as a Master's degree in clinical nutrition. He is also a certified functional medicine practitioner. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Hoffman has studied with many of the leading mind-body and spiritual healers of our times, including Deepak Chopra, Paul Lowe, Osho, Ramesh Balsekar, and Jon Kabat-Zinn. This can result in a wide range of symptoms and can be difficult to diagnose. Potential triggers of this hyperactivity can include environmental toxins, mold, and certain foods. Physical and mental health are interconnected when it comes to MCAS. Individuals with this syndrome may have early developmental trauma which can exacerbate symptoms. Learning self-regulation techniques, such as neurofeedback, can be beneficial for managing stress and promoting balance in the body and mind. The treatment and management of MCAS is complex and often involves a combination of nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals, dietary adjustments, and the creation of a neutral environment. Continuous vigilance is necessary to avoid triggers and manage the condition effectively. It is crucial to build resilience against environmental toxins and to focus on overall well-being.

Wayne Liquorman was a spiritual seeker and a family man with a successful export business, when he met his first and final guru, Ramesh Balsekar, in September 1987. In April 1989 the process of seeking ended with enlightenment. Wayne describes the event as being 'of interest only to seekers.' His first book, "No Way: A Guide for the Spiritually Advanced" was published in 1990 under the pen name Ram Tzu because he 'didn't want a bunch of miserable seekers cluttering up his living room.' Wayne did not speak publicly until Ramesh asked him to do so in 1996. The enlightenment event and its aftermath are described in Wayne's second book, "Acceptance of What Is" published in 2000. He is also the author of "Never Mind... A journey into Non-Duality". Wayne edited Consciousness Speaks and several other books by Ramesh Balsekar.

The essence of Ramesh Balsekar's teaching is that there is no individual “doer” of actions, and everything happens according to the will of the source. Source is the pure consciousness that creates life and sentience. A couple of years ago, I experienced a spiritual awakening that confirmed Ramesh's message. At that time, I did not know anything about Ramesh or Non-Duality. Everything word of his resonated with my life's experience, and it brought me great peace. ✦ Visit Website jagjotsingh.com ✦ Weekly E-Mail Newsletter jagjotsingh.com/newsletter-subscription/ ✦ Books By Jagjot jagjotsingh.com/books

In editing this podcast I was tempted to edit out a lot of my own speaking as I felt like I wasn't listening properly etc. I left it all in unedited as it flowed as a way to expose the false in me, be transparent and be in integrity with myself. Ananta has been a huge inspiration to me and really guides all that I do from inside my heart. His direct pointing still sometimes bothers aspects of my mind, but what He points to is alive within and is taking care of all that arises. I feel his directness can cut through any mind play if you are open to that. Ananta (born, Tapan Garg) is a disciple of spiritual Guru, Sri Mooji. His quest for self-realization began in 1998, at the age of 23. He spent the initial few years involved with Sri Sri Ravishankar's Art of Living Foundation. At one point, he seriously contemplated becoming a teacher of the Art of Living, but life led him in a different direction when he came across the teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj and later, Bhagawan Ramana Maharshi and Sri HWL Poonja (Papaji). He was deeply inspired by Nisargadatta's book "I Am That". He also spent some time with Ramesh Balsekar and occasionally attended his satsangs in Mumbai. The search for Truth finally led him to his Guru Sri Mooji in January 2009. The instant Ananta met Mooji he felt a deep sense of having come home. He experienced a complete sense of surrender to Mooji and in his Presence, he discovered all that he was seeking. With Mooji's blessings, Ananta has been sharing Satsang since 2013. https://anantasatsang.org/

Meet Len Oppenheim, my Dad! In his own words:"In terms of my mundane life, I have put bread on the table by being a professional gambler, a lawyer, a stock broker/ institutional salesman  for an investment bank, and for the last 19 years a private investor.  I have been fortunate to meet many fine, successful, intelligent, and interesting people along the way.  If you ask me from which group I found the people to be of consistently high moral  character and paragons of integrity I would, in a heartbeat, select bookmakers. In my inner life I have evolved from a physical materialist to a spiritual seeker.  In chronological order, those that influenced me the most have been Paramahansa Yogananda Autobiography of a Yogi), Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and Ramesh Balsekar.  I have been blessed by the opportunity to spend quality time in person with the latter two."Come hear a father and son talk about death, and life.Find us, follow us, like us, and subscribe!Web: mikeyopp.comTwitter: @coffintalkpod IG: @coffintalkpodcastFB: coffintalkpodcastSupport the show Get full access to The Casual Casuist at mikeyopp.substack.com/subscribe
