While every person and every place is invariably God according to our Non-Dual View, certain places and certain people are particularly strong manifestations of God. Everything is the same in type but different in degree. For example, while every part of the cow is indeed a cow, it is really only from the udder that milk flows. As such, the Avatāra is like the udder and the entire Universe the cow. The Avatāra, Divine Incarnation, is a unique nodal point of Reality through which the very highest can be accessed. In short: the avatāra is the strongest manifestation of God in immanence, in nature. But what makes an Avatāra(a Divine Incarnation) and Avatāra? In Hinduism, the idea of the Incarnation is very ancient. We find it in the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter IV, verse VII) and also in texts like the Bhāgavatam dated between ~1000b.ce to 600bce. The claim is that while various forms of gods and goddesses are each of them emanations or aspects of the One God capital G, the one Divine Reality, the Avatar is a specially concentrated manifestation of that Reality that exists in historicity as an actual person. The gods and goddesses like Kālī, Shiva, Vishnu etc. are all entirely Divine but the Avatāra uniquely is also mortal and like any mortal suffers mortality: birth, old age, sickness, dying etc. Unique to the Avatāra Doctrine is the idea that God can be a person and a person can be God which when you think about it is a startling challenging idea! Swami Vivekananda could never quite accept Sri Ramakrishna as an Avatāra until the latter's dying breath in 1886. Because for any thinking person, this claim is ludicrously challenging! It is one of the deepest mysteries of spiritual life. It takes a special kind of subtle insight, or a special kind of grace to have some semblance of an understanding of this mystery. But it is my conviction that anybody who is sincerely attracted to spirituality will also be attracted to the avatāra because they will feel in them (in their lives and teaching) intuitively the strongest dose of spirituality. But notice how I am using the plural! According to the Hindu view, there is not just one Avatāra. In Christianity, the idea is that there is just one Divine Incarnation who came in the form of Jesus and that's that. But in Hinduism, we understand that to teach a particularly stubborn student, you often have to give the teaching over and over in different ways. Repetition is at the heart of all learning! And so the thing about the Avatāra is that She comes again and again each time teaching the same message in slightly different ways. In this talk, I wanted to tease out some of the similarities in that message between various Avatāras. Also I wanted to continue last week's theme of the emphasis on renunciation and sincerity that we find are at the heart of all genuine spiritual life and also on the warning against affect and pretense in spiritual life. One thing we find about all these avatāras is that they were genuine, simple and willing to give direct answers to sincere questions without any affect or pretense! And because they were free, they did it all for free! From freedom unto freedom a gift of freedom is made!May this be an offering to all Avatarās, past, present and future, who are each and every one of them "L.O.V.E personified."For more videos, guided meditations and instruction and for access to our lecture library, visit me at:https://www.patreon.com/yogawithnishTo get in on the discussion and access various spiritual materials, join our Discord here: https://discord.gg/U8zKP8yMrMSupport the show

There is a "gap" the ego loves to maintain between ourselves and our brother. This is the ultimate way we maintain our separation from God. We cannot claim we want God's Love without ending this "gap of separation." God's Love is WHOLE. It does not cast out the evil doers. Because in this dimension of Spirit beyond the body and all its "demonstrations," there is no "gap" between us and our brothers. We are joined in this Dimension of Divine Reality. And therefore we end the separation we imagined between ourselves and God, since our "brother" is God.
To accept the Biblical proof that the Pre-Tribulation “Rapture” is a true Scriptural Doctrine, is not only confirming the “Blessed Hope” that glorious event will produce for the “Born Again” children of God – but more importantly it is acknowledging the shed “Blood of Jesus Christ” – the Son of God and the Great I AM – and the sacrificial payment for sin's death that it purchased. In other words, it is not that I “want” to believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture becauseit gives me encouragement that I will not have to suffer the horror that is aboutto come upon an unbelieving and sinful world – it is that I “DO BELIEVE” in my Savior, Yeshua Hamashiach – Jesus the Messiah – with undying confidence that He has already paid the price for me - in reconciliation oneness restoration with the Father in Heaven! In this Podcast, we give Scriptural evidence that underscores that confidence with undeniable assurance that our “Blessed Hope” is a Divine Reality that will berealized for the Blood-Bought children of God – and very soon!Support the Show.Visit our website: https://agapelightministries.com/

Christian Nonduality and the Biblical GodAddressing Religious Compatibility and ViolenceMarshall addressed concerns about the compatibility of non-duality with the Old Testament God's violent nature, specifically in light of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Marshall clarified that true Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are religions of peace, and the violence perpetuated in the name of these religions does not represent their true teachings.Divine Reality and Scripture InterpretationHe also claimed that every scripture, when taken literally, distorts this divine reality, but at its best, it serves as a window to this nondual reality that is the heart of all spiritual traditions.Non-Dual Perspective on Gaza ConflictMarshall discussed the ongoing conflict in Gaza from a non-dual perspective, emphasizing the importance of understanding the suffering and complexities on both sides. He urged compassion and love towards all parties involved, rather than aligning with one side or labeling them as 'good' or 'evil'. He spoke of the importance of non-dual awareness in achieving lasting peace and encouraged spiritual people of all faiths to embody peace and speak out for it.AI-generated summary

THE REAL WORLD IS OURS. But we have to want it above all else, and be willing to let go of the world we "made up." Would we commit ourselves to see through Christ's Vision? This is given to us when we want it, but we have to welcome it in. Love does not wait on time, but on our welcome to enter into our world of reality. This world is given, not made. This is the world free of pain, strife, unfulfillment, suffering, fear, etc. We have the means within us to be totally immersed in our Divine Reality. The Christ awaits our welcome. Om Namah Shivay!

The Holy Spirit bridges the gap between the world of "perceptions" (that can be faulty) and the world of "Knowledge" that is True and unequivocal. The Holy Spirit's function is to forgive all of our misperceptions and restore right mindedness to us, so that God can give us the Knowledge of Divine Reality. This shift is miraculous. It is brought about by correcting our perception through absolute forgiveness. This is our function as "the Light of the world." The Holy Spirit helps us to make this shift.
Today, an Introduction to the Sant Mat Approach to Meditation, the Goals and Methods of Spiritual Practice. (Peace Be To You) Seven Teachings of Sant Mat: 1) God is Real. 2) God is Love, the Ocean of Love and Compassion. 3) All of the world scriptures teach about the same manifestation of God as inner mystical Light and Sound. 4) Our true identity is the soul, the self, and the soul is part of God and, like God, pure love. 5) During this human existence, we have an opportunity to experience God. 6) The Third Eye is the Seat of the Soul, thus there is the need to look within in order to get in touch with our soul and God. As we experience communing with God's love during meditation -- Surat Shabd Yoga -- we can rise above body-consciousness and explore Inner Space, the "Kingdom of the Heavens" that are within us. "We travel back from the Realm of Darkness to the Realm of Light, from the Light to Divine Sound, and from the realm of Sound to the Soundless State [Anami, Radhaswami]." (Swami Sant Sevi Ji Maharaj) The drop merges back into the Ocean of Love. 7) As we get initiated into the Mysteries of the Spirit by a Living Teacher (Master, Sant Satguru), the purpose of our life is fulfilled. Reuniting with God is our reason to be here: "It was for the sake of the God-conscious beings that our True Lord created this earth, and began this play of death and birth." ("Adi Granth") Guru Kabir says: "For millions of years you have slept. This morning, will you not wake?" (Seven Teachings of Sant Mat, from the Sant Mat section of SpiritualAwakeningRadio.com) "By practicing devotion through these four techniques: Manas Japa (Simran, recitation of a divine name or names), Manas Dhyana (Dhyan, focus on the divine form), Dristi Sadhana (Yoga of Inner Light, Inner Seeing, Inner Light Meditation, focus on the Infinitesimal Point), and Nadanusandhana Yoga (Surat Shabd Yoga, concentration on the inner divine Sounds) - the practitioner consecutively transcends the realms of darkness, Light, and Sound which cloak the Supreme Truth - the Divine Reality." (Maharshi Mehi) "Make the mind quiet as only a quiet mind can meditate. Don't understand meditation as a burden, do it lovingly. Don't pay any attention to the outer sounds during the meditation; concentrate at the Eye Center." (Santji, The Ambrosial Hour) "If we set a fixed time for our meditation, and we also set a fixed place for sitting for that meditation, then the mind also gets used to it. If we keep changing the time of our meditation, or keep changing the place of our meditation, then that gives an opportunity for the mind to also create havoc with us. And then the mind also reminds us of so many other things that have to be done. And that way, it keeps disturbing us. So, if it is used to sitting at a fixed time, it realizes that, 'Yes, this is the time for meditation,' and then, it leaves us alone for that time." (Baba Ram Singh) Note: In the Sant tradition, the complete methods and secrets of the full meditation practice are communicated at the time of INITIATION (Diksha) by a living Master (Sant Satguru, Competent, Qualified Teacher) or a representative of a Master. Mark employs a sophisticated literary technique known as Inclusio to unveil the true nature of Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah and the Son of God. Inclusio functions as a literary framework, where the author strategically places a central concept at the beginning and end of their work, indicating that everything contained within serves to reinforce this central idea. The Gospel of Mark is a piece of apocalyptic literature that illuminates the nature of God's cosmos and Jesus as the Messiah. Mark's Inclusio vividly illustrates the revelatory essence of the work, as it tears open the "heavens" for us to glimpse beyond the confines of our earthly existence. Join us on this journey as we delve into how Mark utilizes this unique literary device to demonstrate that Jesus is indeed the Son of God. #6 HOLY SPIRIT The Holy Spirit is the Life force that pulses through the Christ. It "bridges" between the world of "perception" within a world of form and the Divine Reality of Knowledge that is Spirit, which Itself is formless. Love is the domain of Knowledge, which imbues all living things with the Energy to BE. We can connect with the Holy Spirit in order to prepare ourselves to correct our perception by looking upon a "forgiven world, so we may receive the final step of God into Knowledge.
The third episode of our series looks again at the nature of shadow or sin as that in the human being which hinders Divine Reality from being revealed. Humanity is still working to reveal the image of God in which we have been made. We can understand our shadows then as opportunities to grow and mature—parts of ourselves that need to be acknowledged, understood for what they are, and transformed over time. Paul teaches in Romans: 8 there is “no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” How does Christ Jesus relate to the sin of humanity? He demonstrates for us the path of salvation by taking up the cross, suffering, dying and being raised again by the Father. We can take up our own sin with Him and walk the same path.Support the showMany thanks to Camilla Lake for show notes and Podcast/Patreon production and communications. Translation in English : In this Pauri, Satguru Nanak gives the essential qualities which are required for meditation on the Divine Name and the realization of the Divine within, in the form of a simile. A goldsmith‟s shop is here taken as a model. Let self-control (control over all the sense organs; tongue, nose, ear, skin, etc.) be the furnace, forbearance (remaining calm and charitable under all trials) the goldsmith, reason (the power of judging right and wrong), the smithy, self-knowledge (I am not the body but the Atma) the hammer, the fear of God the bellows, penance (discarding all pleasures of flesh with a burning desire to reach the truth) the fire, heart full of Divine love, the crucible, and Elixir of the Divine name the purified gold (Gold free from all dross). In short, by following the above given process, the pure Divine name, dwells in the human heart, and fills it with a sense of the presence of Divine Reality; both within and without (in the whole creation). In this true mint (the company of saints and God-conscious persons) one realizes the Divine within. The above given method is adopted by only those who acquire the grace of God by following the teachings of the Satguru in complete humility and self- abnegation (I am nothing). O Lord, all my qualities and powers flow from Thee. Without them I cannot raise even my little finger. Note: - In a steady mood of forbearance and toleration one has to keep self-control over all his desires and be a staunch devotee of truthfulness. With these fundamental qualities as the basis, one has to listen to, study and act upon the teachings of the Satguru. Then with the fear of God in the mind and a sustained and steady mood, one has to meditate on the Divine name. In this way all the dross of selfishness is removed and the Divine within shines in its full effulgence. Then one obtains the grace of the Guru (God conscious persons) and attains everlasting bliss. This path is followed by those who come under the gracious shade of Sat Sang, the congregation of God conscious persons. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sant-teja-singh-ji/message

We all have this question of how to become a better muslim. It's something that we want and are trying to actively attain, so here I give a few tips (and a lot of book recommendations) in order to help you along your journey. Islam can be a hard thing if we make it out to be, so the important thing is to look at Islam in a light that we know our hearts will be content with. Allah SWT will help you through this journey, all you need to do is try. As He says "Take one step towards me, I'll take ten steps towards you. Walk towards me, I'll run towards you." Here is a list of the books I recommend in this episode. In this podcast, Shaykh Kabir Helminski explores a number of topics and concepts relevant to every spiritual seeker, commenting on what it means to ascend in consciousness and how the Sufi tradition, particularly the heart of the Mevlevi order, serves to do that. Tradition, as he says, serves as a template and means of transmission through non-dual gestures of the sacred: ceremony, manners, service and worship. Heartfulness, a key differentiator of the path, begins with the understanding that within the human being is the possibility of opening a window to the Divine. The Sufi walking into the realm of the Sacred is a return back to our essence; to be, and act, from a place of unconditional love. Shaykh Kabir Helminski touches on the possibility that every soul has a uniquely subjective vantage point within the non-dual unified reality. He provides insightful remarks on our human experience; the different levels of human consciousness, our partaking in a process of conditioning, deconditioning and reconditioning; and, our role as reflectors of the Divine Reality, as modeled in the mirroring of Shams-i Tabrīzī and Jalāluddīn Rumi. The transformative power of Rumi's teachings, the pedagogy of love, becomes magnified through sohbets, arts, language, and music. This conversation, centered in the heart of its tradition, greets us with love.
There is within you a Divine Reality. It consists of two interwoven parts: your Christ Self and your I AM Presence. Your I AM Presence is an individualized manifestation of God, and your Christ Self is the intermediary between you and your God Presence. Awareness of our Christ Selves and oneness with our I AM Presence is what we desire, and each of us occupies a unique place in the Consciousness of God known as hierarchy where we endeavor to expand our consciousness and ascend. God is at the pinnacle of this hierarchy, and we are below striving upward. Between us and God are the ascended masters, angels, Elohim and other great cosmic beings, each desiring to pull those below up! As we gain self-mastery and advance ever higher upon the ladder of consciousness, our Light grows brighter, becoming a magnet for those who would steal it. These fallen angels and creatures of darkness seek to co-opt our attainment through a false hierarchy that seeks to divert our soul's homeward path.
Each of us is born to be a co-creator with God. And everything we need to create is within us, because God is within us! This is the great secret and the supreme lesson that the ascended masters teach. Between where we are now and the ultimate fulfillment of our oneness with God is our path. These are dots we desire to connect. And our path is one of self-mastery; the alchemy of literally becoming God. This is not pride, nor is it sacrilege to believe in our innate divinity. Jesus and Buddha and all the great saints and sages of East and West have taught us to recognize and embrace this great truth. And now the hour has come to wield the tremendous alchemical power of Light. This is our birthright, and we are absolutely worthy of completing this transformation from human to our Divine Reality. Light is truly the alchemical key that unlocks all of the secrets of creation…and creating! It is the key to the fulfillment of our reason for being and the key to finding our way Home.
