Most of us know what it feels like to ignore a warning light and hope everything is fine. But what if there are deeper warning signs in our lives that comfort, success, or security are helping us overlook? This message will challenge us to look beneath the surface and discover where true freedom is found.
Jarek Berga - May 24th 2026 What do you do when the warning lights in your life won't turn off? Most of us know the feeling. Something feels off. A relationship. A habit. The exhaustion we can't shake. The pressure to keep performing. The quiet fear that if certain things fall apart… maybe we will too. But instead of slowing down, we push harder. Stay busy. Distract ourselves. Tell ourselves “later.” In Ezekiel 6, God confronts the places people kept running to for safety, identity, comfort, and control apart from Him. And the warning is sobering: What you trust to hold you together will eventually reveal whether it actually can. This message wrestles with the things we cling to when life feels uncertain, why our hearts keep returning to false hopes, and what happens when God lovingly exposes what cannot save us. Because sometimes mercy doesn't feel comforting at first. Sometimes mercy looks like warning lights before the wreckage. But the good news of the gospel is that Jesus does not merely expose what's broken—He gives us what we could never give ourselves: a new heart. If you've ever felt exhausted, numb, stuck in patterns you can't seem to escape, afraid of what would happen if things finally fell apart, or unsure whether God could really meet you in your weakness… this message is for you. What happens when a light bar becomes a control system? We sit down with TowMate's Chris Anderson to explore how flexible warning lights and smarter training are reshaping safety, installs, and compliance across state lines. The Infinitra 58 quad‑color bar anchors the conversation with full 360 coverage and deep configurability: independent control of patterns, speed, intensity, front cutoff, and rear‑only modes for stationary work. Add traffic advisor functions, cruise and parade modes, plus stop‑tail‑turn integration, and you get a single platform that adapts to jobs, policies, and regional codes without swapping hardware. We also unpack the engine behind it all: PowerLink 2.0, a two‑wire power‑and‑ground digital platform that's 44x faster than the original and broadcasts across three frequencies for rock‑solid reliability. Installers get CAN‑like control without extra data wires, upfitters shave hours from builds, and fleets can standardize across vehicles with drop‑in multicolor markers and stop‑tail‑turn replacements. For agencies and operators crossing state borders, a configurable quad‑color setup means fewer compromises and clearer signaling at every scene. There's more: a first look at the TowMate Advantage wireless tow light, a lithium‑powered, budget‑friendly cousin to the SaberLight. Expect wireless stop‑tail‑turn with sequencing amber turns, integrated strobe and area light, a clean housing with strong magnets, and a smart battery indicator on startup—plus an upgrade kit path for TM22 owners moving to lithium. Rounding it out, TowMate University launches as a module‑based training hub to help dealers and operators master setup, configuration, and best practices so every feature turns into real‑world safety and efficiency.Ready to see what configurable lighting can do for your fleet? If your car feels different—but the dashboard is quiet—you're not crazy. Modern vehicles don't always warn you when something's wrong, and in this episode of WrenchNation, we break down why that happens and what drivers should know. We'll explain how today's cars are designed to tolerate small changes without triggering warning lights—and why drivers often feel issues long before a computer decides it's a “problem.” We'll talk about common signs your vehicle may be developing an issue even with no lights on, including changes in how it accelerates, idles, steers, brakes, or shifts. This week's podcast sheds light on seven critical yet often overlooked warning signs that could derail your retirement plans. 1. Market Volatility: Sudden market swings can significantly impact your retirement savings, especially if they occur early in your retirement. Understanding sequence of returns risk is crucial to safeguarding your nest egg. 2. Inflation's Silent Erosion: Over time, inflation can diminish your purchasing power, affecting your ability to maintain your desired lifestyle. It's essential to have strategies in place to combat this silent threat. 3. Outdated Estate Plans: Life changes, and so should your estate plan. Failing to update your estate documents can lead to unintended consequences for your heirs. 4. Overspending in Early Retirement: The initial years of retirement can be exciting, but excessive spending during this period can jeopardize your long-term financial security. 5. Lack of a Comprehensive Retirement Plan: Without a structured plan, you may find yourself unprepared for the financial challenges of retirement. A well-thought-out strategy is essential for peace of mind. 6. Staying Stuck in the Risky Growth Phase: While growth investments have their place, failing to adjust your portfolio as you age can expose you to unnecessary risks. It's vital to reassess and rebalance your investments periodically. 7. Neglecting to Rebalance Your Portfolio: Over time, your asset allocation can drift from its intended targets. Regular rebalancing ensures your portfolio remains aligned with your risk tolerance and financial goals. Sometimes I wish I had a dashboard light that could warn me when my heart's getting off track — like a little “pride building” or “forgiveness overdue” message. But as I was thinking about that this week, I realized God has given me a warning system: it's the fruit I produce.

Bible Reading: Psalm 101:1-8Callie sat on her bed, so engrossed in her new library book that she didn't even notice her mom enter the room. When Mom sat down next to her, Callie jumped and shoved the book under her, hoping her mom hadn't seen the title.Mom frowned. "You doing okay? I was just wondering why you were so quiet up here." She peered around Callie. "What were you reading?"Callie shot her a thin smile. "Oh, nothing. Just a book I got at the library." She blinked, trying to clear her flustered brain. "So, did Dad finish working on the car?" Mom folded her arms, studying her. "No, he's still trying to figure it out. The check engine light keeps flashing." Callie nodded. "Wow. I hope the car's okay!" "I'm sure it will be fine," said Mom. "Your Dad always takes the car's warning lights very seriously, so I'm sure he'll be able to fix the problem before it causes too much damage." She cleared her throat and scooted closer to her daughter. "Callie, you're twelve, and you're getting to the age when you'll be making some important decisions." Callie swallowed and nodded. "I'm not going to make you show me the book you're hiding. I don't know what it has in it that makes you feel the need to hide it. All I'm going to say is that your conscience is telling you something without me having to say a word." Callie studied her fingernails, and Mom sighed. "The embarrassment I see on your face is a God-given warning light, Callie. It's telling you that something in that book doesn't line up with who you are as a follower of Jesus. Because He has freed you from sin, it doesn't belong in your life anymore. When you're tempted to focus on sinful things, the Holy Spirit uses your conscience to warn you. If you listen to His warning, it can prevent major problems down the road."Callie squirmed. As much as she hated to admit it, she knew Mom was right. She pulled out the book. "I guess I'll need a ride to the library so I can return this." As the weight of the book lifted from her conscience, she smiled. "Let's go see how Dad's coming along on the car!" –Rebekah DorrisHow About You?Has a twinge of embarrassment or unease ever made you want to hide what you were doing? God has given each of us a conscience to warn us when we're stepping into danger. When it tells you that what you're doing isn't right, stop immediately! It's an episode full of whatever got in the Gearhead Consultancy's way, because we're too damn busy. How about cops and their Exploders? Good and bad strap technique for fun and disastrous truck towing and hauling? Why that little light in your sideview mirror should warn motorists about YOU... ...And why turning across lanes to avoid one driver is a recipe for meeting other drivers the hard way. So much good stuff... What about some thinly veiled leftism hiding in new limp-wristed podcasts? Some Amon Tobin and traffic school? ...Also, let's remember Scott Bloomquist, incredible dirt-track racer but not so much of a pilot. R.I.P., you excellent weirdo.
