Submission guidelines can be found at http://www.TallTaleTV.com   ---- About Tall Tale TV ---- Hi there! My name is Chris Herron and I'm an audiobook narrator. In 2015, I suffered from poor Type 1 diabetes control which lead me to become legally blind for almost a year. The doctors didn't give me much hope, predicting an 80% chance that I would never see again. But I refused to give up and changed my lifestyle drastically. Through sheer willpower (and an amazing eye surgeon) I beat the odds and regained my vision. During that difficult time, I couldn't read or write, which was devastating as they had always been a source of comfort for me since childhood. However, my wife took me to the local library where she read out the titles of audiobooks to me. I selected some of my favorite books, such as the Disc World series, Name of the Wind, Harry Potter, and more, and the audiobooks brought these stories to life in a way I had never experienced before. They helped me through the darkest period of my life and I fell in love with audiobooks. Once I regained my vision, I decided to pursue a career as an audiobook narrator instead of a writer. That's why I created Tall Tale TV, to support aspiring authors in the writing communities that I had grown to love before my ordeal. My goal was to help them promote their work by providing a promotional audio short story that showcases their writing skills to readers. They say the strongest form of advertising is word of mouth, so I offer a platform for readers to share these videos and help spread the word about these talented writers. Please consider sharing these stories with your friends and family to support these amazing authors. One of the biggest mistakes job candidates make is thinking the interview is only about what they say. So they spend all their time preparing answers and trying to sound impressive. Meanwhile… The interviewers are reacting, signaling, judging, connecting, disengaging, leaning in, checking out, growing skeptical, getting interested, and making real-time decisions based on how they feel. Most job candidates never notice any of it. They walk out thinking, That went pretty well. Then they never hear back. Ouch. Strong candidates don't just answer questions.

One of the biggest mistakes professionals make is assuming that because a company is hiring… the company must be healthy. Uh, sadly, no. Sometimes they're putting fresh paint on the walls and didn't bother to patch the concrete underneath. Today, I have a short, but powerful lesson on how to evaluate whether you're joining a company that's going up… Or is sinking, but just doesn't know it yet. Of course, no one has a crystal ball. But as your dear ole' Coach Andy likes to say… I can see around corners because I know what to look for. In the next 5+ minutes, you too will have my see-around-the-corner goggles. Just ask a few questions and you'll know whether their needle is moving up or down. Smart professionals don't just evaluate the job. They evaluate the future of the company offering it. It reveals the continuing witness to how a story can affect us when we hear something that seems to “break through the reality of tragedy” and we find that “hope” is what we cannot escape.   We hope for something that pierces darkness, destruction, despair and death.   God's Greatness God has conquered and continues to conquer all four forces that have come against His light, creative nature, hope, and life itself.  His light pierces darkness. His creative nature steps into destruction. His unyielding presence defeats despair. His resurrection power conquers death.   The Deceiver cannot conquer God's goodness, love, power and presence in our lives.    Jesus calls us to him as the Shepherd and we the sheep who cannot live without the Good Shepherd: I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. I want to discuss one of the most important decisions you make in a job interview. It happens before you ever start speaking. It's not how you tell your story. It's which story you choose. Most candidates default to the example they like the most. The one they're most proud of. The one that feels the most impressive. But that's not what determines whether it lands. The story that sells you best is the one that fixes what's hurting them right now. When you choose the right story, your value becomes immediate and obvious. You don't have to work as hard to explain it. You don't have to hope they connect the dots. They see it. In this week's lesson, I share a powerful analogy that'll help you identify which story will score highest in an interview so you can make your impact clear from the start. What most people were taught as a simple environmental good may actually be a tangled mess of political incentives, corporate marketing, municipal waste contracts, and feel-good public relations. It's politics, media manipulation, environmental mythology, and classic TWR Wednesday malarkey all in one episode. Please Support The Show:Sam's Substack: https://samwhitfield.substack.com/Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/TheWhitfieldReportWhitfield Report Guilded server: https://www.guilded.gg/r/zzzE8b61qR?i=AYwozWndSam's Amazon Author Page: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Sam-Whitfield/author/B00M1DNU88Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4DIcoDO0BIDyuH7SWIsAB8American Instinct Pulp Adventures: https://americaninstinct.substack.comBuy Me A Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/whitfieldreport

Retirement isn't just about how much you've saved. It's about the decisions you make once you get there. In this Q&A episode of the Providence Financial Retirement Show, we tackle some of the biggest (and most misunderstood) retirement questions that can have a massive impact on your long-term income and peace of mind. Should you delay Social Security - or take it as soon as possible? The answer depends on more than just age. We walk through how longevity, spousal benefits, and income needs can shift the math, sometimes making delay incredibly valuable, and other times making early claiming the better move. Do Roth conversions really make sense? Paying taxes now to save later isn't always an easy decision. We break down when Roth conversions can help reduce future tax burdens, avoid higher brackets, and create flexibility, and when they may not be worth it. What happens if the market drops right after you retire, even if you've saved $1M+? This is one of the biggest fears retirees face. We explain sequence-of-returns risk, why early losses can have an outsized impact, and how having the right income strategy can help you avoid panic and stay on track. These are the kinds of decisions that don't have one-size-fits-all answers; but getting them wrong can be costly. This episode is designed to help you think through the trade-offs so you can make more confident, informed choices. Let's talk about the thing that's sitting in the back of a lot of people's minds right now… "Is AI going to take my job?" I get it. You're seeing layoffs. You're hearing nonstop noise about automation. But here's the problem… Most people are asking the wrong question. They're thinking about AI like it's coming to take a fixed number of jobs. That's not how this works. Every major wave of technology does two things at the same time: It eliminates certain roles in the short term. And it expands the total number of opportunities over time. The real issue isn't "Will AI take my job?" It's…

Most political commentary goes in circles; this episode cuts through the noise with sharp, unfiltered insight into the real power plays and online grifting within the MAGA movement. Sam Whitfield reveals why the idea of a "MAGA civil war" is nothing more than internet drama engineered to generate clicks—right when the country is more resilient than ever. If you're tired of the endless rumor mill and want to understand what's really happening behind the scenes in Washington and the online echo chambers, this episode is your wake-up call.In this no-holds-barred solo show, Sam tackles the latest in Trump's fiery True Social posts that sparked a social media explosion, exposing the grifters, the fake controversy, and the manufactured conflicts fueling the MAGA identity crisis. You'll discover how influencers like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones are being used or misguiding their audiences, often for short-term gains instead of genuine patriotism. Sam also offers a candid critique of the post-election political landscape, breaking down the illusions of “civil war” and why the real battle is fought in hearts, minds, and on the voting ballot—not on social media flame wars. You'll also learn how the mainstream narrative is distorting the intent behind Trump's messages, the hypocrisy of online personalities claiming to defend MAGA while grifting off the chaos, and why true patriotism requires staying grounded in reality rather than falling for conspiracy-driven theatrics. Sam emphasizes the importance of authentic engagement—highlighting how genuine supporters, like himself, cut through the fake noise with real conversations, not clickbait.Perfect for anyone exhausted by internet drama, eager to understand the strategic game behind the headlines, or looking for a honest perspective on America's future—this episode cuts through the chaos with clarity and conviction. Most retirees think taxes are something you "deal with later." But that mindset can quietly create one of the biggest financial risks in retirement. In this episode of the Providence Financial Retirement Show, we break down what we call the ticking tax time bomb - the buildup of pre-tax retirement savings that can lead to rising required minimum distributions, unexpected tax brackets, and even higher taxes on Social Security and Medicare costs. You'll learn why traditional "tax-deferred" savings strategies may create long-term consequences, and how proactive planning can help you take control instead of reacting later. We also discuss how Roth conversions and smart withdrawal planning can help you manage taxes across your retirement, not just in one year. This is not about avoiding taxes. It's about controlling when and how you pay them so you can keep more of what you've worked for. Last week, we talked about war and market volatility. But what if the biggest risks to your retirement aren't the headlines at all? In this episode, we go a level deeper, uncovering the less obvious forces shaping your financial future right now. From rising energy costs and persistent inflation to interest rates and global instability, these underlying shifts can quietly impact your income, your expenses, and how long your money lasts. We also tackle some of the most important questions retirees are asking today: - How do you know if you're truly ready to retire? - What does it really mean to turn savings into reliable income? - When is the right time to claim Social Security? -  How can taxes impact your retirement more than you expect? The truth is, retirement isn't about how much you've saved; it's about how your money works for you. And in uncertain times, clarity around your income strategy becomes more important than ever. If you're looking to move from uncertainty to confidence, this episode will help you connect the dots and see the bigger picture. There is no faster accelerator in your career than communication. And there is no bigger drag. Think about it. You have skills. Experience. Judgment. Ideas that could help your team, your company, and your customers. But between everything you know and the value you deliver sits one thing: Communication. It's the wrapper around everything you know. It either broadcasts your value or it traps it inside. Most professionals think their communication problem is clarity. It usually isn't. It's process. When someone asks for an update, a proposal, or a recommendation, most people open a blank page and start writing. While they're writing, they're also… figuring out what they want to say. organizing the information. editing the sentences. All at the same time! That's the mistake. Great communication isn't winged. It's constructed. In today's Tuesday Tips lesson, I'm going to show you the exact system I use to create every form of communication I produce. These steps helped me write this newsletter, the talk I'm giving you at Live Office Hours on Thursday, and even my books like Signal Strength. Once you see it, you'll never approach an email, presentation, proposal, or conversation the same way again. But here's the real question: is the current volatility actually the problem… or is it simply revealing something deeper? In this episode, we cut through the noise and focus on what truly matters. We break down how markets typically respond to geopolitical events, why uncertainty creates volatility, and what history shows us about these moments over time. More importantly, we uncover the real risk retirees face - one that has far less to do with headlines and far more to do with how a retirement plan is structured. From the dangers of relying on market performance for income, to the impact of sequence of returns risk and emotional decision-making, this conversation brings clarity to what can feel overwhelming. Two candidates can have the same skills. Why does one get the offer and the other doesn't?

There is at least one moment in a job interview you can count on.  Whether it happens literally or figuratively, it's this: "Tell me about your accomplishments." And that's where offers disappear. Whether you're interviewing for a new role or discussing your impact with your current employer, one thing matters more than anything else:  Can you clearly explain what you've accomplished and why it mattered? If you don't document those wins as they happen, your experience gets watered down. What should sound impressive ends up sounding average. Today, I walk you through a simple system to capture your career wins so your experience leads to more vivid stories, stronger positioning, and better outcomes. I hate that I even have to write this. But fake recruiters and fake job postings are everywhere right now. And job seekers are being targeted hard. That's not because you're careless. It's because scammers go after people who are motivated, hopeful, and actively searching. That's you. What makes this worse is how convincing these scams have become. In fact, a couple months ago, one of my clients showed me a recruiter message that fooled me! The company looked real. The LinkedIn profile looked legit. The email sounded professional. It wasn't. That's why this week's lesson is about how to protect yourself. Not with fear. With awareness. In today's video, I walk you through 10 clear warning signs that help you quickly answer one critical question: Is this real…or is it just a scam? You'll learn: What to check first when a recruiter emails or messages you. How fake job postings give themselves away. Why Gmail addresses, rushed language, and vague roles should always make you pause. What legitimate recruiters never ask you for. How to verify a job or recruiter in minutes, not hours. This isn't about becoming paranoid. It's about becoming informed. If you're job searching right now, please don't skip this one. Even smart, experienced professionals are getting caught off guard. And if this helps you, pass it along to someone else who's searching. A simple heads up can save them a lot of stress. Listen to STOP Falling for Fake Jobs and Recruiter Scams now! On this week's The Whitfield Report Wednesday, Sam, Max Sand, and Mortheous are joined by guest panelists Craig (@craigbob99) and Phil (@pluffyphil) for a deep dive into the chaotic and rapidly escalating situation unfolding in Minnesota — where protests, counterprotests, and federal enforcement actions have gripped the Twin Cities. The conversation centers on the explosive controversy surrounding federal immigration enforcement, particularly the ongoing presence of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents and the public response. Recent events have sparked widespread outrage, protests, and clashes between demonstrators and federal officers after multiple shootings involving federal agents in Minneapolis — including a fatal encounter that left a local resident dead and further inflamed tensions across the community. (Sahan Journal)Panelists break down:The background of the federal surge in immigration enforcement — part of a broader initiative dubbed “Operation Metro Surge,” which has seen thousands of ICE and related federal agents deployed across the Twin Cities. (CBS News)The human element and controversies, including the killing of a 37-year-old nurse in Minneapolis, the subsequent protests, and conflicting narratives between federal agencies and community accounts. (Le Monde.fr)Throughout the episode, your hosts and guests offer thoughtful — and at times heated — perspectives on how these events fit into broader national debates over federal enforcement powers, civil liberties, and the role of protest in American political life.Whether you're following the headlines or looking for context you won't hear elsewhere, this episode provides on-the-ground insights, sharp analysis, and honest debate about one of the most volatile developments in the 2026 political landscape. Please Support The Show:Sam's Substack: https://samwhitfield.substack.com/Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/TheWhitfieldReport2nd YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@WhitfieldReportReloadedKick Channel: https://kick.com/whitfieldreportSam's Amazon Author Page: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Sam-Whitfield/author/B00M1DNU88?ref=ap_rdr&store_ref=ap_rdr&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=trueSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4DIcoDO0BIDyuH7SWIsAB8?si=8c06106f817d4eebAmerican Instinct Pulp Adventures: https://americaninstinct.substack.comFollow Sam on X and Instagram @SamW_NGCFollow Right To Offend Media on X @RTOMediaBuy Me A Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/whitfieldreportAffiliate links:Sign up for Rumble: https://rumble.com/register/TheWhitfieldReport/

Few interview questions create more damage with fewer words. Not because it's hard. But because people answer it at the worst possible time, with the least possible leverage. Most candidates think this question is about money. It isn't. It's about timing, power, and whether you understand how hiring decisions actually get made. Say a number too early and you either leave money on the table you'll never get back or price yourself out before anyone truly understands your value. And here's the part nobody teaches. There isn't one "right" answer to this question. There's a sequence.  A progression of responses that protects your leverage, keeps the process moving, and positions you to negotiate when your stock is highest, not lowest. In this week's lesson, I break down: Why giving a number early almost always works against you. What recruiters are really trying to confirm when they ask. And the exact recruiter-proof responses I use to control this conversation without sounding evasive or combative. If you've ever felt pressure to answer this question quickly, or worried that one wrong sentence could cost you thousands, this lesson will change how you approach salary conversations forever.
