Yes! You are in. Confession, procrastination is an area of struggle for me. It is. My biggest holes dug have been via procrastination and pride. Here you go...If you dig that opening hook that is Marcus Rogers, Best Life. Please buy his music.Word! Pastor Ricky Jenkins is that Play of the Day. Southwest Church, Indian Wells, Ca. That came from YouTube and you can find it at the link below (in the episode description) or simply search "What Would Jesus Say to the Procrastinator", March 24, 2025.https://youtu.be/MI2gNwBp_qk?si=ojDCx6ZvSyhq51x8If that resonates, I highly recommend you listen to the rest of it. Well, one thing I learned is that I'm not alone. You all procrastinate somewhere. Yes, some do better than others. Yet take a look in the mirror (health, marriage, a strained family relationship, Faith, obeying God?). Think about it. You have a weak spot somewhere. Otherwise, you would be perfect and don't need Jesus Christ. Yet, I know you do via Rom 3:23 and your flawed nature. Now, I bet you are really good and proactive at some things. For example, health comes super easy to me. I exercise just about every day. I eat healthy almost every day. I fast often. I can control my food and liquid intake. How about you? So you are procrastinating somewhere.Where do I stumble? Finances. I've been clear on that over this podcact. Accounting for me is like eating spinach for some of you. So I'm taking Pastor Ricky's advice. I'm starting with a little bit or step each day. So far, this week, I've done it. I've already done more about my procrastination then I have in a long time. By taking little, baby steps.Where do you need to improve? What have you been delaying? Who do you need to talk to? Write it down. Challenge yourself a little bit 6 out of 7 days per week.James 4:17 - Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it. New Living TranslationMan that verse cuts. I don't share it as a guilt check as much as a reality check. We all have room for improvement. Also, be free in knowing we all have room for improvement. And then honor your Abba and say ok, here is where I'm going to start at better. Please God, here is my area, guide me.Lastly, whatever you are trying to do, do it with love. Love God, Love Others. Matt 22: 36-40. Everything else you are trying to do...even overcoming procrastination hangs on doing those two commandments first, loving God. Loving Others. Doing what you know you should be doing is loving God.

What Would Jesus Say? John 15:5 September 10, 2023 Jesus said, “I am the Vine, you are the branches,” He is the source of life. A branch cannot survive, let alone bear fruit, without the vine. The fruit Jesus speaks of is not good deeds or moral behavior, rather the character traits developed by the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22 The power of the Vine changes us from the inside out. When we abide in the Vine we are not improved versions of our old selves. 2 Corinthians 5:17 This power gives strength to endure, peace to remain calm and hope to keep pressing on, in the middle of the storm. This power is freely given to all who choose to accept it. Remaining connected to the Vine, Jesus, is not a one-time decision, but a daily commitment. We stay connected through prayer, the Bible, and relationships with other believers. What does this fruit look like? Love: Mark 12:30-31 John 13:34-35 Joy: Galatians 5:22 Peace: Philippians 4:7 Patience: Colossians 3:12 Kindness: Romans 15:14 Faithfulness: 1 Corinthians 4:2 Gentleness: Ephesians 4:2 Self-Control: 2 Peter 1:5-7 Good Works: Matthew 5:16 Ephesians 2:10 Being connected to the Vine produces real fruit over a lifetime. This is a marathon, not a sprint. 1 Corinthians 9:24 +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally
What Would Jesus Say? John 10:9 September 3, 2023 Jesus said, “I am the door, anyone who enters by Me shall be saved..” John 10:9 This truth stands in sharp contrast to a world and culture that wants to believe there are infinite roads to eternal salvation. This is an open invitation to anyone who believes in Him. It is not restricted by race, social status, or past sins. A door is an entry point that leads us from one place to another. This invitation is: a call to salvation and a new way of life a call to transformation Romans 12:1-2 Romans 8:1-1, 11 Philippians 1:6 Faith is required to enter. Faith is not just acceptance of God, but a complete trust and confidence in His promises. Faith is necessary for salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 Faith is necessary for spiritual growth and transformation. Faith is necessary for overcoming life's challenges. Faith is believing in the unseen, in the promises of God, even when our circumstances suggest otherwise. The Promise: Salvation-but it's not just about eternal life in heaven, it is also about a fulfilled and abundant life here on earth. The offer of salvation is a beacon of hope in a world filled with uncertainty and despair. It reassures us that no matter what challenges we face in this life, we have a Savior who has overcome the world and who offers us the chance to share in His victory. +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally
What Would Jesus Say? John 6:35 August 20, 2023 What would Jesus say to people who are both spiritually and physically hungry? John 6:35 “I am the Bread of life” What does that mean? It’s a promise of complete satisfaction. It doesn't mean we won't have physical needs or face challenges in this life. But it means that in Christ, we have the assurance of His presence, the comfort of His love, and the hope of eternal life, we have everything we need! 2 Peter 1:3-4 When Jesus declares, "I am the Bread of Life," He is saying that He is essential to our spiritual life. Without Him, our souls starve and wither, just as our bodies would without physical food. The world offers many things that promise to satisfy our hunger. Wealth, success, power, pleasure to make us happy, but often, they leave us feeling empty and unsatisfied. Psalm 34:8 We falsely believe that if we have enough, we’ll be enough. False promises pass away. The promises of God never fade. 1 John 2:17 +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

What Would Jesus Say to our modern day dilemmas? What Would Jesus Say to the church in America today? Scripture: Revelation 2:1-7
What Would Jesus Say about your belief in Him?
It's the start of the Christmas season, and I thought it would be fun to start with the Christmas series that I preached in 2014 and incorporate them with today's episode. Jesus has always had a soft spot for misfits, and he often uses these individuals to bring about global peace. Those who seem to have it all together don't have time for the messy beauty that is the life of God's Spirit. Those who are aware of their own flaws are the imperfect, the weak, those who have difficulty fitting in, and those who never manage to get anything right. God isn't looking for sinless disciples, but rather humble ones.Tune in now, and let's go bigger, better, and deeper! By Rev Charlie Lacey | Luke 12: 13-21 Luke 12: 13-21 (NIV) The overall standard of living here in Australia is one the highest (if not the highest), in the world. Of course, there are lots of people who are struggling, but there's also a lot of people who are quite comfortable, materially speaking. So the question and the theme for today is 'What Would Jesus Say to the Satisfied?'

A series on What Would Jesus Say - a take on the What Would Jesus Do bracelets that were popular at one time.
In this episode, Elisabeth and I share with the auddience the reason for our hope during these troubling times, and it all starts with... JESUS! Also, I (Sebastien) introduce the NEW outreach book I wrote, titled: I Did It All for You: An Intimate Letter from Jesus Get it here: https://www.amazon.com/Did-All-You-Intimate-Letter/dp/1777778433 (https://www.amazon.com/Did-All-You-Intimate-Letter/dp/1777778433) This prophetically inspired book is based on over 120 Scriptures and is meant to help you reach people for the Kingdom of God. Everybody has loved ones, family, friends, and co-workers who don't know the Lord. This book is perfectly tailored to reach the hard-to-reach. So, If Jesus wrote you a letter concerning life and all the happenings in the world… would they read it? Here is the Amazon decription: What Would Jesus Say… to YOU? I Did It All for You © is based on this singular premise. What would Jesus say to you if He were sitting in your living room? What would He tell you about Himself and about you? What would He tell you about His death and resurrection? What would He tell you about His purpose and mission? In this unique, captivating, and revelatory letter, Jesus explains how He did it all for you. His words will transform your life, no matter what circumstances you may be facing. I Did It All for You distills Jesus' timeless message as recorded in Scripture. It sheds further light on the uncompromising truth of His teachings and is seasoned with His unmistakable grace. It offers heavenly revelation and powerful encouragement, but also stern warnings concerning the times we live in. Through it you will experience Jesus' compassion, truthfulness, wisdom, and unfailing love. Based on sound research and over 120 Scripture references, this intimate letter from the Savior will fill your heart with hope and your mind with insight. But most importantly, His words will bring you peace and assurance amidst a world of chaos and uncertainty, as they provide answers to your deepest and most pressing questions. Get the book: https://www.amazon.com/Did-All-You-Intimate-Letter/dp/1777778433 (https://www.amazon.com/Did-All-You-Intimate-Letter/dp/1777778433) And Here is the Publisher's take on it: I Did It All for You © brings the reader into a close encounter of the God kind! Written in the first-person, it poignantly captures the essence of Jesus' words and presents them in a new, powerful, and life-altering way. In a postmodern world, where Christianity is deemed irrelevant and where sharing Christ has become increasingly challenging; what better way to share the Gospel than by offering the unreached or unbelieving a powerful literary encounter with Jesus and letting Him do the talking! Through this deeply moving letter, Jesus addresses His “dear ones” gracefully, lovingly, and yet unapologetically. I Did It All for You makes the perfect gift and is an ideal outreach resource for: Friends, co-workers, and family members Christians desiring a refreshing encounter with Christ Pastors and ministry leaders Churches Evangelical outreach efforts and ministries Anybody who doesn't know the Savior I Did It All for You offers the reader a fascinating, revealing, and touching journey into the heart of the Savior, and sheds new light on the depth of the Good News. The gift of Jesus is always in season. https://www.amazon.com/Did-All-You-Intimate-Letter/dp/1777778433 (https://www.amazon.com/Did-All-You-Intimate-Letter/dp/1777778433)
107 – What would happen if Jesus came to your church?Last week in Episode 106, I asked my guest, Markus Watson, what Jesus would say to our churches. I'm still thinking about his response. He said, "He would say, 'I love you guys. Follow me.'"This week I expand on some of the things Jesus might say to your church or my church.Jesus's core message never changedI think it's reasonable to assume he would say to us the things he said to his disciples and the people who followed him. He would tell us we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. He would tell us to love God with all our hearts, and love our neighbors as ourselves. He would rebuke the self-righteous, Pharisaical thoughts wherever he found them. He would be patient with us.He would probably rebuke our lack of faith, just as he did with his disciples. But his rebukes would come, not in condemnation, but from the immense depth of love in his heart for us.He would teach us the Scriptures and open them up in way we could see and understand things we had never seen before. But most of all, I believe he would tell us about the kingdom of heaven, that it is hear and within us, and our need to completely change the way we see and think (i.e. repent) about God, ourselves, and creation, from a material, earth-based view to a spiritual, heaven-based perspective.Revelation 2 & 3The more I've thought about this idea of what Jesus would say to our churches today, the more I've realized he really has already said what every church needs to hear in the book of Revelation in chapters 2 and 3.The challenges, the struggles, and the mistakes, the victories, and the defeats the seven churches in Asia experienced are indicative of what the whole Christian church faces today.Does your church face some of the same challenges these churches faced? Are you holding fast to your faith in spite of the temptations all around? Is your church caught up in worldly ways, to small or large degree, and need to repent? Jesus makes incredible promises to those churches that overcome worldly temptations. To hear these promises and how they can apply to your church, tune in to this week's episode.James Early is a Bible teacher, speaker, and podcaster and conducts Bible workshops online and in person. His focus is on getting back to the original Christianity of Jesus by embracing the mindset of Christ in daily life. "Santa Baby" has gone through some changes. When Eartha Kitt recorded it in 1953, it was controversial because women--and particularly black women--didn't talk about desire so bluntly. It was a cool artifact from one of Christmas' back rooms until Madonna covered it in 1987, and that seemingly put the song on the radar of a generation or two of women performers including Arianna Grande and Kylie Minogue. This week, I'm joined by three strong women to discuss what makes Kitt's track special, and what changes when others perform it. Journalist and critic Alison Fensterstock contributed an interview with Rickie Lee Jones to Mojo earlier this year, and she is a regular contributor to NPR.org among other places. Singer Dayna Kurtz's passion and passions are clear in her work, whether the projects explore her personal life, her musical life (as part of Lulu and the Broadsides), or her activist life (as in the case of "What Would Jesus Say"). Alexandra Scott appeared on 12 Songs last year to talk about Dolly Parton's "Hard Candy Christmas," and singer Alexandra Scott has always made songs that sound like direct communications with the listener, whether the lyric reflects her innermost thoughts or something more fabricated. Even musical exercises sound meaningful when she sings them. In the episode, I talk about Pearl Bailey's "Ten Pound Box of Money." That's the song from 1958 adjusted for inflation. When Bailey recorded it, the title was "A Five Pound Box of Money." Sorry for the confusion. Maybe a 10 pound box of money reflects my needs and desires more than Bailey's since that's the lyric I sing in my head when I think about the song. This episode also starts to pay attention to the releases scheduled for the 2021 Christmas season starting with Brett Eldridge's "Mr. Christmas." The album by the same name won't be out until November, but the title track is out and we give it a first listen. If you have any questions, suggestions, or favorites you want to share, I'm at alex@myspiltmilk.com. If you haven't already done so, please do what you have to do to get Twelve Songs in your podcast feed. You can find us at Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, Pandora, and Spotify.
In this sermon from Mark 10:17-22, we find a young, rich and religious man who had an urgent question for Jesus. Jesus' response seems to be a completely than we would give someone who truly was seeking eternal life. This sermon entitled “What Would Jesus Say to a Man from Bonifay?”, Dr Richie Allen explains why the gospel is essential and what the goal of the gospel is. Eternal life isn't just a place, or a plan for your life, heaven is found in a person and His name is Jesus.

The Catholic Church is still reeling and recovering from a series of scandals involving some of its priests and bishops. The Church has also done a great deal to address them within its own ranks. There are, however, those who would do nothing but remind the Church of its checkered past, ignoring the rapid and revolutionary strides it has taken to ensure avoidance of scandal in the future, atonement for it sins, and the future protection of all people of all ages. Jesus also had something to say on the topic and the angle He takes is rather unexpected. Fr. Bill does not ask "What Would Jesus Say". Rather He reminds us of what Jesus DID say, as he addresses the overall dynamic of Church scandals, its efforts to overcome them, correct its flaws and atone for its sins, while at the same time dealing with those who would use them to rail against the Church and its moral credibility.

Last week an Indiana court ruled that the "First Church of Cannabis" was not a true religious organization, and could not continue to use marijuana as a "sacrament" in their gatherings. While these fake believers tried to use their fake church as cover for recreational marijuana use, what should real believers in the true church of Jesus Christ think about marijuana? How should we approach this topic from a biblical and Christian worldview? With marijuana becoming more mainstream in our states and wider culture, what should Christians think? What biblical principles would Jesus likely point us to? ~What Would Jesus Say? (Worldview Series) Conclusion
In 2006, our hometown city of Hazleton, Pennsylvania was 'Ground Zero' in the national immigration debate. Then-mayor Lou Barletta, in cooperation with the city council, passed a controversial ordinance that was designed to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the city. After a lengthy court battle that nearly reached the Supreme Court, the law was struck down in a federal court. Even though 12 years have passed, immigration is still one of the hottest debates in our national discussion. So what should the Christian think about this topic? What timeless, biblical principles intersect with this much-debated issue? What are some of the non-negotiable biblical values that God wants Christians to affirm as we approach immigration? ~What Would Jesus Say? (Worldview Series) Part 4
Last month the Supreme Court overturned a longstanding federal law on sports gambling, and now many states will have the "green light" to conduct legalized sports gambling. Experts tell us that gambling in America reaches to more than a trillion dollars, and with the expansion of internet-based gambling, that number is only going to expand. So what should the Christian think about gambling? Is it really a "gray" area, as many people claim? What biblical principles might Jesus ask us to consider as we consider this extremely hot topic? ~What Would Jesus Say? (Worldview Series) Part 3
