I often hear people acknowledge that they have bad posture and then minimize it by laughing it off. Have you ever felt something in your life sliding backward? It's scary because we fear that difficult things are inevitable. And we hate solving the same problems repeatedly …just to get back to where we started. This is particularly true for reaching the point of no return to age as healthy and happy as possible. Not surprisingly, we are on a mission to "get back to the basics" — you know, the things we know made us successful. That's necessary — and a trap. Any rational human being understands this: what got us here won't get us there ( it will just keep us here.) We need to stop feeding our body's what hurts us. And we also need to reinvent ourselves. It makes total sense, but it isn't easy. In some cases, it's terrifying because we've never had to do this before. Only eating less (cutting back) won't get the job done.
