‘What is my niche?' This one thought created a lot of problems for me as a content creator and educator! Every “business guru” out there is saying you have to niche down to make money and, ‘if you chase two rabbits, you catch none.' So I niched down, again and again, and again!! Until I hated what I was doing! -_- I mean, this is what they say I need to do to make money, so I don't have a choice right? WRONG! I built my personal brand ‘Just minhaz' talking about whatever I wanted to!! And I made a lot of money doing so (£50K+ over the space of 2 years) Alhamdullilah. But yet, I lost myself to the “business” advice again and I niched down. Lord have mercy!! I literally built a completely separate page on Instagram/TikTok/YouTube and a separate podcast channel for it. I hired two new team members and doubled down on it completely! We went flat out a built a free course to collect email leads for potential clients and a free community to join on Skool. It took me and my team 1 year to do this and It was a lot of work, and a LOT of money spent! After 30 days of launching this community (27 members on board) and posting content everyday without fail, I REALISED, I HATED IT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (My frustration was real!) I can't live my life like this, where I have now created another job which means nothing to me but the financial gains. So, we start again! I wiped it all clean, and made the decision to go solo again and had a quarter life crisis. LOL This left me with the question: ‘How do I build something that makes me excited and makes me money?!' I was determined to figure this out! And little did I know, the answer was right in front of me. The way I built my personal brand ‘Just Minhaz' was the answer. I used to share all the things that changed my life and not just approach everything with the intention of ‘how do I make money?' It excited me and scared the life out of me at the same time as I shared my real life experiences and mistakes along the way. BUT, there was no structure and systems involved! I was winging it completely and financially it was a mess. I have learnt a lot this year and baby I'm back!!!!!! And we about to do things a whole new way, Alhamdullilah. What is my niche? It's me :) Self-development, healing, relationships, fitness and most importantly faith, Alhamdullilah. I feel free to be myself and most importantly I will lead by example. That means, I have to improve my life in the areas that I want to and that is my job! Ya Allah sign me upppppp! For those of you who have a message to share with the world and want to make a career out of it - remember this, ‘Your mess is your message and your pain is your power!' "Your mess is your message and your pain is your power" means that the difficult experiences and struggles you face in life, often considered "messy" or painful, can be transformed into a powerful message or purpose that can help others who might be going through similar situations Your hardships can become a source of strength and wisdom to share with others. YOU ARE THE NICHE! P.S. bun anyone who says otherwise! In this context, "bun" is likely British or Caribbean slang meaning to dismiss, reject, or disregard someone or something. The phrase "bun anyone who says otherwise" suggests ignoring or rejecting those who disagree with the author's perspective on finding one's niche. P.P.S. I am removing all the random members that joined my community and reopening it with courses on healing, self improvement, relationships and my favourite - business! Click here to let me know that you're interested in joining and I'll add you to the waiting list. Peace & Love my beautiful peeeps! Your brother from another mother, Minhaz Ahmed.

Your partner will trigger the parts of you that you aren't consciously aware of, and vice versa. At that moment, we fixate on our partners and try to change them, which leads to two big adults fighting it out like kids. This is common in relationships and something we have all seen growing up. Most people aren't able to work through these moments and brush them under the rug. This leads to a build-up of frustration and resentment, and, ultimately, you both disconnect from each other. What most of us fail to do in this moment is to see what is coming up as an opportunity rather than another burden. If you wish to unlock more profound levels of yourself and your strengths, you must be able to look at the parts of you that are running the show unconsciously. These parts of us are wounded children. They haven't been able to process what happened to us as kids and continue to operate from a place of fear and self-protection. Your relationships will be the greatest opportunity for you to become aware of those parts of you. There is a reason marriage is half of our deen. Alhamdulillah. So when a brother or sister comes to me, and all they talk about is their partner or kids, I will point back at you. The work always starts with you!

The Completion Process is a book written by Teal Swan, a spiritual teacher and author. It presents a step-by-step guide to a therapeutic process aimed at healing emotional wounds and trauma. Here is a breakdown of the key components and principles of the Completion Process: Triggering Event: The process begins by identifying a triggering event or memory that causes emotional distress or trauma. This can be a past experience or a current situation that activates unresolved emotions. Emotional Awareness: The next step involves becoming aware of the emotions associated with the triggering event. The book emphasizes the importance of fully feeling and acknowledging these emotions, even if they are uncomfortable or painful. The Safe Place: The book introduces the concept of a "safe place," which is a visualization exercise to create a mental space of safety and comfort. The safe place serves as a refuge during the healing process. The Portal: The portal is a metaphorical doorway that allows individuals to access their subconscious mind and memories associated with the triggering event. Through visualization and guided imagery, individuals are encouraged to step into the portal and explore their inner world. Revisiting the Trauma: Once inside the portal, individuals are guided to revisit the traumatic memory or experience. The book offers techniques to approach the trauma with compassion and detachment, allowing for a deeper understanding of the emotions and beliefs associated with it. Emotional Release: The Completion Process emphasizes the importance of expressing and releasing trapped emotions associated with the trauma. This can involve crying, screaming, or any other form of emotional release that feels authentic and cathartic. Integration and Reconciliation: After the emotional release, the process moves towards integration and reconciliation. Individuals are guided to connect with their inner child, provide love and support, and rewrite the narrative of the traumatic event to foster healing and empowerment. Forgiveness and Compassion: Forgiveness, both towards oneself and others involved in the traumatic event, is an essential aspect of the Completion Process. The book provides guidance on cultivating forgiveness and compassion to release resentment and foster personal growth. Self-Love and Acceptance: The process concludes with a focus on self-love and acceptance. Individuals are encouraged to embrace their authentic selves, acknowledge their inherent worthiness, and cultivate a loving relationship with themselves. The Completion Process is designed to be a self-guided therapeutic tool, and it incorporates elements of visualization, emotional release, and inner child work. It aims to help individuals heal emotional wounds, release trauma, and find a greater sense of self-compassion and empowerment.

Making change when life forces you to is the most common way we do things we've been holding back on. However, this isn't healthy at all! You will not be someone that can be relied on as a father, a partner or a son. If you wish to become a leader in your field or family, I believe this is the most important trait a man can possess - BRAVERY. Being brave isn't something you're born with but a SKILL you must develop and build like muscle. Facing those big hurdles seems impossible, but it isn't if it becomes the next step. What do I mean by that? What seems like a big hurdle now will eventually become the next step. You start with the smallest tasks, pushing yourself to do the small things you've been holding off on, whether it's cleaning your house, your garage or organising your clothes. Notice the discomfort that arises as you do it, and commit to finishing what you started no matter how long it takes! Sounds silly, doesn't it? How can cleaning out your garage help you achieve your goals? One word - DISCOMFORT! Get used to it! As I said, it's like building muscle! If you can't overcome your mental battle on something as small as this, you won't be able to handle the mental chaos that will come for the things that truly matter to you. Years go by, and you're still stuck doing the same old ish, saying the same old story to everyone around you. Why do we do this? - Comfort. We are comfortable where we are! Your mind will do whatever it can to keep you there as long as it feels comfortable and familiar, even if your current reality sucks. How do you go from wanting to having? - Discomfort! You must embody who you think you would be and do if it was already here. These are the fundamental steps you should take, which is helllllllaaaa uncomfortable. You must let go of the old story and embody a new one. And this is where you will be tested. But persistence is key! Tune into the full episode for more. Peace & Love!

Most of us find ourselves taking one step forward and one step back. Yet, never truly understood why. One word - SAFETY. We are hardwired to seek safety. So when you rely on your mind to keep you consistently moving toward a new discipline, you will inevitably find yourself back where you started. Your mind will do whatever it can to take you back to what is familiar. YOU'RE HARDWIRED THIS WAY! This isn't a flaw! You have to build your self-awareness to the point where you are able to watch the mind, rather than becoming it. Especially in moments when you are about to do something you don't usually do. It is possible to change your reality and build habits that will support you. But if you lack self-awareness, you will find yourself just thinking and talking about it. So next time you take a step towards what you want and you find yourself doubting everything, practice watching your thoughts and emotions rather than becoming them. This is the key to self-mastery!

Finding out why you end up in the same place again and again is. We unconsciously recreate the past because it is familiar to us. In other words, it is your comfort zone. So how could I be in love with what I do, when I was subconsciously wired to associate money with pain and suffering? I was on a path of destruction. This is where it changes!

I used to look out the window, wishing I could just be normal again. You might see me for where I am, but how did this all start? I was at the lowest point of my life! Homebound because of my social anxiety and my face was covered in spots - cystic acne. I hated my reflection! Even getting a glimpse of my face in the mirror was a constant reminder and question of what went wrong with my life! I was at a stage where all the anxiety I suppressed throughout my childhood was surfacing. It destroyed me! The worst part was, seeing people look at me and wonder what happened. Which eventually led me to not even want to leave my own bedroom to face my family. It was tough! But it was the catalyst. I made a promise to myself, that if Allah can help me change my life around, I will help others do the same. Now 5 years later here I am. Alhamdulillah! Dreams do come true. So if I can do it, so can you!

To build my confidence, I started with lying down in the middle of the streets to dancing on it. I had to do it step by step! Building the ability of tension I could handle one step at a time. When you imagine where it is that you wish to be, it can feel overwhelming thinking about how you can get there. You have to start small! Just like going to the gym. To be able to push 100kg, you have to start with an empty bar. Each week you add 2.5kg to the bar and within 10 months you will have 100kg on the bar. This is the same principle that applies to building a business or being in a relationship. You start small and build your way up. This is something we focus on in week 2 ‘Playing with Tension' in my program Quantum Leap. If you do wish to sign up, send me a message or click the link in my bio. Tune into my latest episode to hear more about my experience on how I went from being homebound by social anxiety to dancing in the middle of the streets with the playing with tension method.

Wanting change and creating change are two different realities. When we first discover that change is possible, we desire what that will look like for us, but most of us get stuck here. We just continue to consume information rather than actually implement it. Going from wanting to having it is a whole challenge itself. Ask yourself the question,

The ego will do whatever it can to keep you where you are, even if where you are isn't where you wish to be. In layman's terms, under pressure, your thoughts will convince you that you're not ready or capable of making those changes. Simply to keep you safe and comfortable. The problem is we identify with our thoughts. BUT, you are not your thoughts! Rather the one who is listening. I know it's confusing, you're probably thinking about it right now

We make so many plans yet we find ourselves sabotaging any momentum we have built. Not just once, but again and again and again. This feels like absolute sh*t! Leaving you to the conclusion that you are just destined to fail. This is far from the truth. The self that is sabotaging is an aspect of you that perceives your goal as a threat. A threat to your current identity and way of life. You have to do shadow work to find out which part of you sabotaging what you want. This allows you to see the fear and understand what it is really going on within you, rather than just labeling and judging yourself as “lazy”. Let me give you an example of money. You wish to create financial freedom in your life. You know exactly what you need to do to create that yet, you find yourself paralysed when it comes to taking those steps. There is a part of you that perceives financial freedom as a threat. Why? Money = power and power is dangerous. As a child you may have witnessed your father who was the money man - he always had the last say. Your mother was constantly left in silence and feeling powerless. So you promised to never be like him. Now 20 years later, your relationship with money is nonexistent. No matter how many books you read on it or how many videos you watch, you can't seem to change your reality. So what is happening here? To be loved and accepted by your mother, a part of you is self-sabotaging any efforts you make towards financial freedom to make sure you don't become the man you promised to never be like. So a part of you fears that if you do become financially free, you will also lose your mum. I know, it's mad! So next time you catch yourself saying ‘I'm just lazy', think again. Tune into this episode to find out how you can heal this.

That feeling, that no matter what you do, you always end up in the same place. It feels defeating when you want to make changes to your life so you make a plan and when it comes to taking action you feel paralyzed by your emotions. So you power through it and then a week later sabotage all that you have done. Frustrated and mad at yourself that you are just meant for failure. “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will control your life and you will call it fate.” - Carl Jung. When we actively sabotage all our efforts to make changes in our life we can easily feel like it's just not meant to be. That we are simply not meant to have what it is that we desire. But what's really happening is.. There is a part of your subconscious mind that perceives your goal as a threat. Whether it's finding love or creating financial freedom. This is painful to even comprehend. Why would I not want it when that's all I think about? Consciously yes, but unconsciously that outcome is dangerous. Therefore, a part of you will self-sabotage the process. Shadow work is about finding that part of you and understanding why that outcome is perceived as a threat. This process is the missing piece of all of our lives! But be warned, it's the most challenging and painful journey one can endure. BUT the most life-changing!
