While the political ties in the US and Europe are moving more and more to the right, it seems like so-called “Gender Critical Feminists”, aka Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists T3RFs seem to feel comfortable with this reality. This episode is an analysis on why it seems like “Gender Critical Feminists” are so quick to work with the far right and white supremacists. This episode is not about the “biology of gender”, but in the same way I don't need a PhD in astronomy to know that the earth is not flat, I don't need to be a scientist with a PhD to know that trans women are women. In this episode we will discuss how and why non-white women's bodies are often under extreme scrutiny, do Gender critical feminists care about white working-class women? And why. How the far-right and gender critical feminists are working together nowadays, and why white supremacists and TERFs seem to support each other. Is Pride month in Sweden! Pride flags and rainbows can be seen everywhere, libraries, healthcare centres, businesses, etc. It is not for nothing that Sweden is ranked, year after year, as one of the most gay-friendly countries in the world. Stockholm Pride Parade, which will happen on Saturday 3rd of this year, is one of the biggest in the world, especially because everybody is welcomed. In this episode we talk about what it's like to live in one of the most gay-friendly countries in the world as an immigrant, including reflecting on such privilege, countries where to be gay is illegal and how is that weaponized against non-white LGBTQ people, and why colonialism doesn't help gay people from the global south. In this episode I will talk about Vikings in popular culture, Nordicism and the “Nordic Race”, what archeologists tell us about whether if Vikings had dreadlocks and face tattoos or not, recent history of white supremacy and Viking lore in Sweden and the rest of the world, and why are white supremacists obsessed with Vikings.
