Melina casually and openly shares what's on her mind as she grows, heals, evolves, and becomes while riding the waves of life. This podcast is an everything under the sea, nothing off limits, relaxed and casual vibe, with topics often relating back to the
Hi! Another Monday upload. A part of my day I get excited for. I love this work
For lack of a better way to title it, we ended up with this. In today's episode, we talk about how an overwhelming amount of noise exists around food and eating and yet so little actually has to do with what matters. Though we could dive so much deeper into subtopics from this episode, we talk about how we don't have to worry so much about eating when we just are eating to serve ourselves best in each moment. I'm sure there could have been more clarity and direction in this episode to get the message across, but you know how it is. It leaves room for the better later on
Some days, the energy is just off, the vibes are hard to read, and the only thing you're clear on is that you're feeling unclear. In todays episode, we talk all of it about being in the slow-moving days where it feels like much isn't happening, and being in those days you just can't read. Tune in & lets chat riding this wave of energy.
In a totally non-expansive way, I thought I would share 12 lessons/themes that I've been learning/going through/ and expanding on in the 12 months I've been in Washington. A few weeks ago, in early February, I celebrated 1 year in Washington. What started with lots of tears, heart break and gloom has expanded into so much more. Here is a short (and again- non expansive for the time being) episode with 12 themes of 12 months!xo,melina
In today's episode, we talk about going after what we want, aligning so our dreams can unfold, and the power of manifesting. I share my personal experiences with the small steps have lead me to changing my life and how life continues to unfold and evolve into what we hope it will ,with of course the unexpected twists and turns, through aligning our actions with our goals. I hope you'll tune into today's epsidoe and share your thoughts with me in my insta dms. As always, take what resonates and leave what doesnt. xoxo melly
In today's episode, we talk about expanding the journey with the body and we dive into my personal journey with it. We explore the state of disconnect I was living in and the journey I've been on that's help me connect . We discuss my journey with a yoga practice (which sounds boring I know) as a modality to tune into my body and how much that can teach us. We also talk about a bit about how our physical bodies change, embracing that change, and let it all connect us deeper.. Hope you'll enjoy this episode! Xo melina
Dropping back in.. finally. After holding myself back from posting because my podcasts "weren't professional enough" yet, I'm back at it. Because for me, the most growth happens when I show up. It all unfolds the way it's meant to. Anyway, in today's episode, we talk about cold plunging and my latest journey with it. You've seen me on insta sharing my record times, and inserting myself into a cold tub of water at any hour of the day.. so let's talk about it. To chat more about it.. connect with me on IG at wellnesswithmelina xoxomelly
In today's episode, your host, Melina, sits down and talks with you about her mental health journey and where it's taken her. As someone who once didn't think the struggle could end, she opens up about how struggling with her mental health for so long has impacted her life and put what that part of the healing journey looks like now. Tune in for today's most open, casual, and longest chat we've had here. And be sure to let Melina know your thoughts by sending an IG dm (wellnesswithmelina). If you listened through this episode, don't forget to share your thoughts on creating a separate page for this podcast. Love you!
In today's episode, I continue the conversation from the previous episode about having spent much of my life out of tune with myself and what that's looked like moving forward as I meet myself over and over again. Running away from ourselves is an act of self-abandonment, and unlearning that and rewiring it is a process that takes consistent dedication. We'll dive more into this in future episodes, but for now, we have this episode. If you enjoy this, resonate with it, or just enjoyed the listened, be sure to let me know over on IG at wellnesswithmelina. Thank you so much for being here on this journey with me. (ps i did not add the intro and outro to this bc, surprise... i wanna change it again) kk love ya
After not knowing what I was gonna podcast about, I realized we needed to have a chat. In tonight's episode, I brought in the conversation and realizations I've been having with myself that are big players in the direction I'm going and that I hope we're going collectively. We're all here growing together, and that's a cool thing.
My love really went into this one. Recorded at almost midnight the night before posting, and uploading this at nearly 4am, I finally got to sit down and catch up with you about my new job and open conversation around work, what matters most to us, and making our work meaningful in all aspects. Tune in to today's episode for a relaxed, hang out podcast while we chat all things work.
In today's epsidoe, I talk about all things healing.. mind body and soul. I touch on my personal hardships in life right now, the things I'm healing from, and how we seemingly will always have things to be healing. Tune in for a casual conversation on leading a holistic life of healing and being.
Hello you beautiful humans. After a little break to reflect and recollect, I am back at it with my podcasting on the regular. In today's episode, I talk about shedding layers, letting go, and coming into new skin and all that comes with growth. Sometimes, growth is hard. And that's okay! A casual chat on where i've been. I'm so happy to be back!
Today's episode is the push we all need sometimes to keep going. When motivation steps out, discipline and healthy habits step in. We don't all always feel like doing the things we know we should do, but building habits we can rely on, trusting ourselves, and showing up for ourselves even when it's tough are ways we can care for ourselves. Sometimes, that care might look like demanding we rest! (should have put that one in the episode). anyway, hope this reaches you well
Ah!!!! This one felt so good. I missed the open chats. Todays, I casually chatted about riding the waves in my life, ebbing and flowing, and keeping my head above water. Missed you guys

And that is something to embrace

The only constant in our lives is us. Along with of course, my personal perspectives and realizations. Tune in to dig deeper into all of it.
After getting some DM's about how I manage anxiety & depression, I thought I'd chat about how out of control my anxiety used to be, versus the small everyday ways it presents itself now. Health and fitness literally saved my life more than I can count. Now, I'm just learning to exist as myself, whatever that looks like at each phase of my life. If you're curious about my personal struggles with anxiety and depression, this one is for you.
Let's chat about how we are not only multidimensional but also ever-evolving, ever-changing beings. All of the parts of ourselves are allowed to coexist while we go through the phases that the journey of life brings us.
After sharing my "sex fort" on Instagram, I received some messages from people just like me who get anxious during sex, don't know how to enjoy it, or wanted to know why I make a fort. So in today's episode, I dive back into the sex talk topic with my updated thoughts and perceptions as my sex life continues to expand. As someone who once thought I hated sex, I've come a long way! Tune in for my realization that I'm learning to navigate relationships for the first time as someone who never held deep, meaningful, or positive relationships in my past. Hoping my thoughts are able to help you in some way! :)
Sometimes, the option that's "healthiest" on paper, isn't helpful for you in that moment in time. Health is SO individual. I kind of forget how to be a podcaster.. where did all of my endless thoughts go? Anyway, I hope you enjoy this episode. Send me inspo on Instagram @ wellnesswithmelina!
Coming back to the podcast with my thoughts on getting too caught up in being "productive", "doing" and "achieving" and how it can sometimes do more harm than good. With the winter heading our way, I encourage you to use this time as a chance to go inward.
The planet is actually fine???? In this episode, I wanted to share a little bit of perspective shift I had around "saving the planet" and some of my thoughts on veganism in a different light. Though I deeply believe in veganism for the animals and stand strong in my own desire to exclude animals from my plate, I'm not closed-minded to seeing other sides WHEN/WHERE is LOGICAL. (and trust me, I think the world would be kinder if 80% of us were vegan for the animals). Hope you like this :)
In today's episode, I discuss the importance of building a lifestyle that works for you and my experience living with ADHD. I also discuss my thoughts on the idea of calling ADHD by a name or label at all. Tune in to find out how I manage to reach my weekly goals and stay my happiest self while living in a brain that sometimes over functions and short circuits! Hope this helps you in some way

In today's episode, I want to open the door to the conversation around sex. While this episode isn't a "tips and tricks" kind of episode, it's more about my experience and thoughts around sex. For the longest time, I thought I wasn't a sexual person and didn't enjoy sex so I stayed away from it. Now at 23, I am beginning to explore and experience sex. Tune in to this episode to find out the things I'm learning.
In today's episode, I talk about my thoughts and feelings (as usual) on trying to build my dream career, self-doubt, never feeling good enough, and all the normal things that we all deal with. Tune in to today's episode if you need some insight and real talk about detaching from your past.
Sometimes things don't always go to plan. And if you're anxious or a type-A person, then you know that this can really throw you off. However, sometimes when things don't go to plan, new things unfold a few months later that make us realize why things didn't work out to begin with. This episode is light and simple with a bit of personal stories.
Do you ever feel like you're so focused on the end goal that you're missing out on what you're really doing? Or maybe you get to the end goal and it doesn't feel like something to celebrate? While there's a time and place for focusing just on the end goal, we should also focus on doing things that have a journey we will enjoy. The things we do should genuinely feel good, not just give us a reward at the end of a grueling or mind-numbing process.
Do you ever feel like you're racing against the clock even when you don't need to be? Do you feel like you HAVE to get things done at a specific time, in a certain order? If you feel like you're always racing against that clock and the thoughts in your head, this one is for you.
Bad days happen. And more often than people talk about. It's actually normal to experience days that simply just don't feel as good as other days, and that's okay. While having bad days is totally fine, it's also important to find even the smallest bit of joy in those days. Even if it means detaching from your day and taking some time to yourself. In this episode, I talk about normalizing the bad days and how picking yourself back up can look so different. I hope this episode brings you a bit of comfort and sparks a way for you to find joy in your day.

Regardless of how often you experience self-doubt, it can still feel crushing and make you want to quit everything when you're feeling doubtful about your work. I'm here to let you know that these thoughts and feelings are normal, but they are not the truth. Tune in to today's episode if you need a reminder that you can totally do this.
It is an ongoing challenge to drown out the voices of people who tell you "that isn't how life works" when you tell them you want a career that fulfills you on every single level. Not only are we battling our own self-doubt, but we face the difficulties of most people not believing in our ability to create a life we love. This episode is for my dreamers, who feel that their deepest desires are out of reach. I'm here to tell you that they are not. Tune into today's episode for some motivation and clarity on why you can reach your dreams.
