In thie episode of The Thompson Show, Todd traces the Red–Green Alliance from London to Minneapolis — exposing how Marxists and Islamists fuse identity politics, anti-Western rhetoric, and insurgent tactics into a permanent political front. Broadcast August 25, 2025 (WBCQ 7490 kHz), this episode takes a deep dive into the Red–Green Alliance — the unofficial but very real cooperation between far-left revolutionaries and Islamist movements. Todd unpacks how this alliance has played out in Europe and America: In England: from Ken Livingstone welcoming Muslim Brotherhood clerics into City Hall, to the Respect Party's fusion of Trotskyists and Islamist activists, to Jeremy Corbyn calling Hamas and Hezbollah his “friends.” These examples show how segments of the British Left traded legitimacy to Islamists in exchange for turnout and street power. On campuses and in media: post-colonial narratives reframed Islamist extremists as victims, while far-left academics embraced “decolonizing knowledge” and dismissed facts as tools of Western domination. In France: activists openly strategize about building “Muslim communist cadres,” treating mosques as political cells — a clear blueprint for how the Red–Green project embeds itself. In the U.S.: Minneapolis emerges as a revolutionary laboratory — from BLM protests to Ilhan Omar's megaphone, from refugee demographics to DSA insurgents like Omar Fateh. Todd dissects how every loss becomes “proof of rigging,” every setback becomes martyrdom fuel, and how DSA uses Democratic Party infrastructure as a Trojan horse. The episode also examines the limits of fusion: how clerics always outlast Marxist activists, why experiments in “Christian socialism” risk repeating the Jim Jones disaster, and how the Democratic Socialists of America fuse Palestinian solidarity with domestic insurgency. Todd's warning is clear: this is not ordinary politics. It is an insurgency hidden inside institutions, weaponizing identity grievance and class agitation against Western civilization itself. In this episode of the 'Al Hamashmaut' (On Meaning) podcast, Adv. Tamir Dortal hosts Pastor Greg Locke, a prominent and outspoken evangelical leader from the United States, for a compelling and unfiltered conversation about Christian support for Israel, the battle for global public opinion, and the spiritual roots of modern antisemitism.Having visited Israel 13 times since October 7th, Pastor Locke pulls no punches. He dives deep into why he views the antisemitism spreading on social media not as a political trend, but as an ancient "demonic spirit" that has taken a new form. He delivers a blistering critique of Israel's public relations strategy, arguing that it is losing the information war by failing to use the right tools to combat the "fake news monster". Locke also calls out former allies, naming prominent conservative figures in the U.S. like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, whom he now describes as "flaming Jew haters."What is the ancient 'demonic spirit' he claims is fueling modern antisemitism? How can Israel strategically use social media influencers to win the PR war? And why does he believe that "Replacement Theology" - the idea that the Christian Church has replaced Israel in God's covenant - is one of the greatest threats to long-term support for the Jewish state? This episode provides a rare, unfiltered look into the mind of one of Israel's most formidable and uncompromising American allies. Listeners will gain a unique perspective on the forces at play in American politics and global media, offering a deeper understanding of the international battlefield where Israel's reputation is fought for every single day.00:00:00 Why a Pastor Wears a Star of David00:01:40 The Ancient Demonic Roots of Antisemitism00:04:46 How Israel Can Win the Social Media War00:09:27 What Happens When Americans See Israel For Themselves00:12:35 The Deep Divide Between Evangelicals and Catholics on Israel00:15:40 'Replacement Theology': The Greatest Threat to Christian Support00:17:57 Conservative Leaders Who Became "Flaming Jew Haters"00:20:24 Israel's Strategic Mistake in the Gaza War00:27:36 The Greatest Miracle in History: Jewish Survival00:30:51 The Muslim Brotherhood's Threat to America and Europe#podcast #על_המשמעות Support the show◀️ פרסמו אצלנו: לקבלת הצעת מחיר - פנו למתן
In today's internet and media focused world, the news cycle can come at us like a flood. This is why it's important that we sift through it all from a Christian perspective. Jim does that each week on these News Round-Up broadcasts. Here are several examples featured from the first quarter hour: --Jim began with a number of audio clips. The first dealt with an individual openly admitting that Muslims must destroy empires such as the U.S. Next, an Islamic scholar spoke on why he believes that no sane person can love the U.S. A third came from a Muslim civil rights attorney and former director for the Florida chapter of the Council on American/Islamic Relations who discussed the role of Muslims in America on the issue of dawah. This involves converting people to Islam. --Top Trump administrative officials are drafting plans to restrict both temporary visit and legal immigration by Muslims affiliated with the revolutionary Muslim Brotherhood and other extremist groups. --President Trump said that Ukraine would have to continue attacking targets inside Russia if it hoped to win the war, even as Moscow unleashed a massive, new bombardment on Ukrainian cities. --Russia disavows every advance anyone thought was made in Alaska and the D.C. meetings. Russia has vetoed the idea that European troops could be used as peacekeepers. Beyond that, Russia demands that they be given a role in guaranteeing Ukraine's security and deciding how violations are dealt with. --North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un today appeared to acknowledge for the first time that the troops he sent to fight Ukraine for Russian President Putin have suffered losses en masse.
Daniel 8 paints a vivid picture of the ram and the goat — symbols of kingdoms and powers that rise and fall. These ancient visions don't just belong to history; they point ahead to events that echo through our world right now. As nations realign and global systems tighten their grip, the warnings in Daniel begin to sound more and more like headlines we see today. From the rise of powerful leaders to the foreshadowing of the Antichrist, these prophecies remind us that the stage is being set for what Scripture has already revealed. The message carries us straight into the heart of end times prophecy, weaving Daniel's vision together with Revelation 13, 2 Thessalonians 2, and Matthew 24. Signs of the rapture, the rise of a global system, and the call to remain watchful and faithful are all there. It's a wake-up call that what was written thousands of years ago is coming alive in our generation — and it points us to the urgency of clinging to faith as we await the return of Christ. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Laura Loomer, Conservative Political Activist, calls into the show to talk about US policy on terrorism, particularly focusing on the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations). She references Marco Rubio's recent comments regarding the difficulty of designating terrorist organizations. Loomer criticizes the Trump administration for the lack of progress on officially designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, despite many other countries having already done so. She emphasizes the problem of Islamic charities in the US obtaining tax-deductible status and allegedly funding global jihad. Loomer also reveals that she has been threatened by CAIR and talks about ongoing efforts and internal challenges within the GOP, notably pointing to lobbyists' influence and alleged professional jealousy. Loomer discusses her investigative work uncovering the arrival of people from Gaza into the US on temporary medical visas and voices concerns over national security implications. Calls to ban the Muslim Brotherhood have resurfaced in recent years, especially amid its links to Hamas and violent offshoots across the Middle East. Is it a political movement, a terrorist network, or both? How should the U.S. balance democratic principles with the need to confront groups that shift between ballots and bombs? And what tools exist to cut off its funding and influence? In this episode, Jacob Heilbrunn speaks with Robert Silverman, the editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Strategic Tribune. Previously a senior Foreign Service officer, Silverman served in nine overseas assignments, including in Iraq, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Riyadh. From 2013 through 2015, he was the elected president and chairman of the board of the 16,000-member American Foreign Service Association.Music by Aleksey Chistilin from Pixabay
Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover Trump's meeting with Putin and the fallout across Europe, Russia's blackmail operations inside the U.S., Palestinian visas and radicalism, China's military support for Iran, unrest in Jordan, and a surprising scientific link between coffee and happiness. From high-stakes diplomacy in Washington to national security risks at home, plus a bit of good news from Germany, today's brief brings you the stories shaping America and the world. European Leaders Scramble After Trump-Putin Talks: After President Trump's meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, European heads of state rushed to Washington DC to secure strong U.S. security guarantees for Ukraine. Trump signaled support for a permanent defense pledge but urged Kyiv to accept a peace deal even if unpopular. Bryan explains why critics warn this risks dragging America into a perpetual European conflict. Russia Hacks U.S. Courts to Build Blackmail Files: Bloomberg confirms that Russian cyber operatives infiltrated the federal court system for years, stealing sealed records and exposing informants. The stolen material may allow Putin to blackmail American politicians and corporate leaders. Bryan details how this could compromise U.S. decision-making and weaken trust in federal institutions. China Re-Arms Iran with Missiles and Air Defenses: Following its war with Israel, Tehran is rebuilding its weapons stockpiles with Chinese rocket fuel, missile systems, and air defenses. Despite Beijing's denials, intelligence reports confirm the transfer. Bryan unpacks what this means for the Middle East and U.S. national security. Palestinians Entering U.S. Under Questionable Visas: Reports reveal that thousands of Palestinians entered the United States under humanitarian visas with little or no vetting. Critics warn of radical sympathies and cultural incompatibility, while Islamist groups call the backlash discriminatory. Bryan examines how this policy failure exposes America to preventable risks. Jordan Cracks Down on Palestinian Radicals: The Jordanian government has intensified scrutiny of the Islamic Action Front for its ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Palestinian extremists. With half of Jordan's population of Palestinian origin, King Abdullah faces a delicate balancing act to preserve stability. Bryan explains why this story is a warning for U.S. immigration debates. Coffee Boosts Mood and Mental Health: A new German study shows daily coffee drinkers report lower levels of depression, anxiety, and sleep problems. Researchers link the benefits to gut bacteria changes that boost serotonin and brain health. Bryan shares why your morning cup might be doing more than keeping you awake. "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32 Keywords: Trump Putin Alaska meeting, European leaders Ukraine security guarantees, Russia hacks U.S. courts blackmail, Russian informant network exposed, China arms Iran missiles, Palestinian humanitarian visas U.S., Jordan Palestinian radicals crackdown, Islamic Action Front Muslim Brotherhood, coffee happiness study Germany, gut bacteria serotonin coffee
Ukraine and Gaza are the two hot button spots of today's times, and they both pit America and some European leaders against each other. Will these cross-purposes lead America into war with Europe? An almost incomprehensible idea to contemplate, and that's why your host, Carole Lieberman, M.D., The Terrorist Therapist®, discusses it on today's podcast. The evidence of this is clear, with European leaders inviting themselves to the White House to “support” Zelensky in his meeting with President Trump. Similarly, some European leaders have already announced their intent to recognize ‘Palestine' as a state, contrary to America's position on this. First, we look at the war in Ukraine and how it emboldens terrorists and makes the threat of terrorism worse, from allowing them to learn from the drones and other weapons to teaching them combat skills they can bring home or to countries they want to attack, and more. Next, we look at how the tsunami of Radical Islamist migrants has overtaken Europe, destroying its culture and economic stability, despite the original expectations that opening their doors to these migrants would be a good thing. It's a stark warning to America. Finally, we look at the shocking developments in the surreptitious arrival of so-called Palestinian ‘refugees' landing at airports throughout America, brought in by charities affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, and what will be done about it.
Josh dismantles the laughable new lawsuit filed by D.C.'s attorney general, exposing why it's doomed to fail under the Constitution, and explains why the Left is terrified of Trump's crime crackdown in the nation's capital. He torches a rogue federal court in Pennsylvania for spitting in the face of the Supreme Court by once again targeting the Little Sisters of the Poor, and delivers a blunt take on why the Muslim Brotherhood must finally—once and for all—be designated as the terrorist organization it has always been.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Nine years ago today, Donald Trump gave one of his most important speeches ever. In Youngstown, the then-Republican nominee for president powerfully repudiated the appeasement of jihadists long pursued by his opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton. Mr. Trump put forth, instead, a comprehensive and realistic of set of policy initiatives rooted in a central proposition: We are confronting not an assortment of “terrorists” irrationally, if not inexplicably, seeking kill us. Rather, America especially is being targeted by adherents to an ideology at the core of “radical Islam.” Its proper name is Sharia. And Candidate Trump promised to keep more of them from coming here and, most importantly, to “stripping out and removing one by one [their] support networks…in this county.” That must be done now, starting with the designation of such networks' mothership, the Muslim Brotherhood, as a terrorist organization. This is Frank Gaffney.
New York Post Columnist Miranda Devine joins the program to talk about the potential designation of the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, citing a recent conversation between Sid and Senator Marco Rubio. They also talk about Donald Trump's foreign policy strategies, particularly his interactions with Vladimir Putin, and the ongoing geopolitical tension surrounding Ukraine. Additionally, Miranda elaborates on the repercussions of the Russia-gate investigation, touching on legal actions against key figures from the Obama administration, and the prospects of Congressional inquiries into the Biden administration's financial dealings. The discussion emphasizes the significance and widespread impact of these issues, highlighted by the global media coverage they have garnered. Learn more about your ad choices. This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was asked yesterday by talk radio host Sid Rosenberg, “Why wouldn't you guys designate the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR?” He responded, “All of that is in the works. Obviously, there are different branches of the Muslim Brotherhood, so you'd have to designate each one of them.” Those who have enabled that Sharia-supremacist – and therefore terrorism-tied – group and its fronts like the Council on American-Islamic Relations to metastasize in this country will surely mobilize to prevent their designations as such. Qatar, Turkey and jihadist organizations they support will use their considerable influence and operatives to protect the Brothers. Still, nine years ago this week, then-presidential candidate Donald Trump pledged that “the support networks for Radical Islam in this country will be stripped out and removed one by one.” That's a promise made that must be kept now. This is Frank Gaffney.
K.T. McFarland, Former Deputy National Security Advisor, calls into the program to touch upon the upcoming appearances of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other political figures on the show. The conversation centers around Marco Rubio's political journey, his perceived image, and his potential candidacy for the presidency in 2028. K.T. also discusses President Trump's approach to international diplomacy, specifically his dealings with Vladimir Putin and his ability to make significant deals. Additionally, the interview touches on global issues such as the Muslim Brotherhood, Middle Eastern politics, and the societal impacts of immigration in European cities like London and Paris. Judge Richard Weinberg joins the program to discuss misinformation about Israel's actions in Gaza. He stresses that Israel is the only country that supplies food, water, and electricity to an enemy during wartime, and blames Hamas for misappropriating aid and oppressing its own people. Weinberg calls accusations of Israeli-inflicted famine a “blood libel.” The conversation then turns to foreign influence in American universities, highlighting how countries like Qatar allegedly fund institutions to install ideologically aligned professors, contrasting with Jewish donors who simply fund buildings. They discuss the long-standing threat of the Muslim Brotherhood and foreign governments using U.S. institutions for subversion. Finally, Judge Weinberg raises concerns about an appeals court case challenging President Trump's authority to impose tariffs, framing it as a potential constitutional battle over presidential powers in trade policy. Usama Dakdok is the Founder of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He is the speaker on the daily radio broadcast Revealing the Truth About Islam. Born and raised in Egypt, Usama learned about Islam just as every other student does in a Muslim country. He also studied for a university degree in Egypt which included the study of Sharia, which is Islamic law. Islam is pushing for world domination. Consider what is happening in France, the UK, Montreal, Canada, and Greece, and also what is being witnessed right here in the United States. A strong contender in the race for mayor of America's largest city, New York City, is a Muslim man who has called for the defunding of police, the very system of public protection to uphold the law, and has refused to condemn "globalize the intifada." This is in a city that has the largest concentration of Jews in the U.S. We also see another Muslim rising up vying to be mayor of Minneapolis. As a matter of fact, just 9 months ago, Voice of America ran a story titled, "Muslim candidates surge in local elections in US." CBN recently ran a story in which they quoted Israel's Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Amichai Chikli, who said, "I think it's very important for Americans to understand that there is a plan of the Muslim Brotherhood. They have a vision, in 100 years, to make America a Muslim state." And yet with the trajectory we are presently on, it will take far less than 100 years for this to happen. We've got many stories to bring to your attention today, all which focus on Islam's push for world domination.

Ian Johnson's new book, The Souls of China: The Return of Religion After Mao (Pantheon, 2017), was called "a masterpiece of observation and empathy" by The New York Review of Books, and The Economist, who included the book on its Best of 2017 list, said the book, "Shows how a resurgence of faith is quietly changing the country." The Guardian said the book is "full of moving encounters with Chinese citizens ... Johnson succeeds in having produced a nuanced group portrait of Chinese citizens striving for non-material answers in an era of frenetic materialism." I just finished the book myself and was stunning in its portrayals. If you hope to understand the trajectory of modern China, arguably the fastest-rising international superpower, understanding the religious Taoist, Christianity, folk religion, and Islam of China will be helpful, if not essential. A Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist, Ian Johnson is a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books and The New York Times; his work has also appeared in The New Yorker and National Geographic. He is an advising editor for the Journal of Asian Studies and teaches courses on religion in Beijing. Designation of the Muslim Brotherhood as a Terrorist Organization Senator Cruz discusses his long-standing effort to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group. He outlines the organization's history, global reach, and alleged ties to terrorism. The conversation critiques past U.S. administrations, particularly the Obama and Biden administrations, for their handling of the Brotherhood. Cruz introduces a “modernized” version of his bill using a “bottom-up” approach to target specific violent branches first. IRS Ruling on Churches and Political Endorsements The IRS has agreed that churches and pastors can endorse political candidates without risking their tax-exempt status. This is framed as a major shift from the Johnson Amendment, which previously discouraged political speech from the pulpit. The discussion includes a personal anecdote from Cruz about defending pastors in Houston who were subpoenaed for their sermons. Biden Autopen Scandal The New York Times reported that President Biden used an autopen to sign pardons without personally reviewing each case. Cruz argues that this could render many of those pardons legally invalid under DOJ guidelines. The conversation speculates on the legal and political implications, including potential challenges to the pardons. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. Malaysia, unlike other perceived Muslim Brotherhood supporters such as Qatar and Turkey, has remained, by and large, in the shadows of the Middle East's information wars, despite the country's public support for Hamas. That may change if a recent report by the Philadelphia-based far-right, pro-Israel Middle East Forum is anything to go by.

FIDF CEO Steven Weil is joined by Nadav Padan to discuss the current state of the war, and what is happening geopolitically with Iran. Nadav explains that the primary objective is the safety of the land and people of Israel. The agreement that the US negotiation group proposed demands that Iran opens their economy to the west, limit its uranium enrichment program and not pursue the development of a WMD, all in order to stabilize the region to create a lasting and sustainable peace in the long term. Meanwhile, in Syria, there is a process of stabilization happening, led by new leader Abu Mohammad al-Jolani. Israel's goal is to facilitate some kind of Abraham Accord-like deal that will stabilize the relationship, while Israel would remain cautious by their still-radical Islamic regime that does not recognize Israel's right to exist. The reason why they are willing to come to the negotiating table, explains Nadav, is because Jolani knows that he is out of his league militaristically. Perhaps paramount to Israel's security concerns is to ensure that Hamas no longer has control in Gaza, which would retroactively limit the power of the Muslim Brotherhood in Judea and Samaria as well. As far as the return of the remaining hostages, Nadav explains that Israel is working on a potential 60-day ceasefire agreement. The humanitarian aspect of this would be dramatic and monumental. However, strategically, in that 60-day span, Hamas could reorganize itself and catch its breath, which could spell further disaster for Israel's security. The hostage situation thus remains complex.Donate NOW at FIDF.org for the fastest and most direct way to give IDF Soldiers what they need most. 100% of your contribution will go to meet their emergency humanitarian needs.
Jim recently attended a mini JFK conference in San Francisco with notables like Peter Dale Scott, Bill Simpich, etc.. Jim spoke about JFK and his policies regarding the Middle East at the well exclusive JFK mini conference. What is currently happening in the Middle East is very relevant. JFK assassination research continues to be VERY relevant. Jim feels Nasser has been the most influential Arab leader in the Middle East during the 20th century, perhaps ever. Nasser was not an Islamic fundamentalist, he was a Socialist. Nasser was not a monarchist he was a Pan-Arabist. Saudi Arabia did not like Nasser. Nasser believed all of the oil in the Middle East belonged to all of the Arabs. Nasser wanted funds from the oil bearing nations to create highways, schools, hospitals & development of the Middle East. Nasser felt that all of the countries in the middle east should be in a confederation, protecting their joint interests. Saudi Arabia was a monarchist country and Islamic state, inevitably the royalist families would come to blows with Nasser. For a short time Syria was united with Egypt, known as the United Arab Republic. There was a war of succession in 1963 in Yemen that Nasser got involved in. Followers of Nasser in Yemen faced off with the royalist family. Saudi Arabia backed the royalist family to weaken Nasser. Israel very much feared Nasser, believing he was the one Arab leader who could unify the Middle East against Israel. Israel tried twice to destabilize Nasser, in 1954 with the Lavon Affair & in 1956 with the Suez crisis. The Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic troops for Saudi Arabia tried to assassinate Nasser twice, once in 1954 and 1965. A perceptive Kennedy saw Nasser as opposition to the medieval Saudi Arabia and a balancing point to Israel. When questioned about he feelings regarding JFK, Sirhan expressed deep respect, as JFK was standing up for Palestine. Sirhan loved JFK. He admired that JFK was putting pressure on Israel to let the Palestinian people to return to their homes. JFK promised Arab leaders he would do his best to make Israel comply with the 1948 United Nations resolution. All of JFK's efforts for peace in the Middle East ended with his assassination. The 1948 UN resolution has been ignored. How did JFK's influence in the Middle East effect the Arab people? What were JFK's goals? JFK and Nasser started a long letter writing campaign to each other that lasted until JFK was murdered. Gamal Abdel Nasser, 2nd President of Egypt, died unexpectedly Sept 28, 1970 at only 52 years of age. Kennedy had felt that John Foster Dulles had made a big mistake turning on Nasser and supporting Saudi Arabia. When Kennedy was murdered, Nasser couldn't sleep Nasser ordered JFK's funeral to be aired 3 times as he fell into a depression. Did Nasser understand that JFK's assassination was the beginning of the end? When Nasser died, 6 million people poured into Cairo to watch Nasser's funeral. Watch Video Here 46 people were killed and 80 injured in the stampede of people. RFK wanted the American Zionist Council to register as an Foreign lobby. Nicholas Kazenbach, after JFK's death & RFK resigned, ended enforcement against the AZC. Now look where we're at. Johnson gave the AZC tax break backdated back to 1956. This became the creation of AIPAC. The conflict in the Middle East and Israel was Atomic weapons. Atomic weapons is the cause of the current situation with Iran!
Yesterday, New York City Democrats chose a so-called “progressive” Muslim, Zohran Mamdani, to be their next mayor. Will his candidacy prompt at last scrutiny of what authoritative Islam's Sharia doctrine entails – a truth largely suppressed in this country since its adherents attacked us on 9/11? Sharia requires faithful Muslims to strive to achieve its totalitarian triumph worldwide. Wherever possible, that is to be accomplished through violent jihad, or holy war, as practiced by the “perfect man”: Islam's prophet Mohammed. When violence would be counterproductive, however, Sharia demands that jihad be pursued by other means. As we have seen in Britain especially, Sharia-supremacist Muslim Brotherhood-engineered block-voting has elected Muslim mayors in London and some twenty other cities. As Charlie Kirk recently courageously observed, “Sharia is incompatible with Western civilization.” And stealthy “electoral jihad” poses a threat to it here. This is Frank Gaffney.
Research shows that repression can lead to both radicalization and deradicalization. When does it drive groups to pick up arms, and under what conditions does it foster disengagement from violence? To answer these questions, it is important to trace tactical changes over time, and to parse the factors that push groups toward or away from violence. Through an examination of four case studies—the Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Gama'a al-Islamiya'a in Egypt, and Darul Islam and Jemaah Islamiyaa in Indonesia—Ioana Emy Matesan establishes a framework for understanding what leads groups to escalate towards violence, or to renounce it. Matesan breaks down how escalation occurs into ideological, organizational, and behavorial escalation, giving us a nuanced and systematic approach to examining the complex nature of Islamist groups and providing a structure for analyzing other social groups that engage in violent tactics. “You can essentially divide the region between two sets of players. You have the, broadly speaking, Western-aligned players, which essentially consist of Israel and the non-Islamist Arab countries—countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE—and then, on the other hand, you have the axis of Islamism—of support for Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and jihadism. And that, these days, is mostly the Iranian regime of course, Turkey unfortunately under Tayyip Erdogan, and Qatar, Qatar being the lead financier of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood,” says Josh Hammer, host of the Newsweek podcast “The Josh Hammer Show” and author of “Israel and Civilization: The Fate of the Jewish Nation and the Destiny of the West.”“Iran is the source of evil in the Middle East. We should be very clear about that,” he says. “This is the world's No. 1 state sponsor of terrorism. They have been ever since the hostage crisis that formed this horrific regime that ended the Jimmy Carter presidency in 1979.”What does an America First foreign policy look like? How does Trump's Middle East strategy fit into it? And what about the U.S. relationship with Qatar?“America has always been engaged on the world stage. So the fact that we're not necessarily going to be going around crusading in the name of spreading liberal democracy does not necessarily mean that we have no interest in the world. We're America first, but you have to be America smart as well,” says Hammer.Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and guest and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times.

In the past few weeks, Qatar has been all over the news with flashy headlines of a $400 million luxury jet that the country gifted to President Donald Trump. It symbolized their opulence and eagerness to please the U.S. But 40 years ago, Qatar was a country with a gross domestic product (GDP) of a few billion dollars. Since the 19th century, it has been run by the Al Thani family, which can trace its roots in the region back thousands of years. Qatar was long considered a backwater. The main industries were fishing and pearls. It was impoverished for the vast majority of its history. Its royal family was dwarfed by rivals in Saudi Arabia. Then everything changed. It turned out that the largest liquified natural gas field was sitting just off the coast of Qatar. And with the help of American energy giants like ExxonMobil, Qatar began exporting LNG in 1997. In a few decades, Qatar's GDP grew exponentially. Today it's over $200 billion. Qatar hosts the main air base for American forces in the Middle East. It hosted the World Cup in 2022. And it's embarking on a series of business and military deals with the U.S.—earmarked at $1.2 trillion. There are a lot of petro-states in the region. Some, like Saudi Arabia, exceed Qatar's wealth by hundreds of billions. But what Qatar has chosen to do with its money—morality aside—is farsighted. Qatar has chosen to focus a huge amount of money and resources on influence. In the past 15 years, Qatar has developed a sophisticated apparatus to embed itself into American society in a way that would shock most Americans. They've done it by investing in our politicians, universities, newsrooms, think tanks, lobbying firms, and corporations—all on an unprecedented scale. In all, the tiny Gulf nation has spent almost $100 billion to establish this influence. So what's the problem? Well, Qatar's push to buy influence has made their connection to the Muslim Brotherhood ever more alarming and apparent. Frannie Block and Jay Solomon published a massive investigative report on Qatar's seismic influence strategy for The Free Press. It's called “How Qatar Bought America.” Today on Honestly, I ask Jay and Frannie how Qatar built this ecosystem, what they want in return, and what it has already gotten them. This week on the Mark Levin Show, Mark emphasized that books endure far beyond radio, podcasts, or TV. While he's often discussed liberty, unalienable rights, and tyranny, he's only touched on power indirectly. Now, he's completed his latest book, On Power. This book is different than any other book Mark has written. On Power is an analysis of how power shapes history. Power is more than a word; it determines whether you are free or not. It's a subject all of us deal with every day. It's a matter that can be discussed psychologically, ideologically, and philosophically. Also, in On Power, there's a stark contrast between America's founding, rooted in a blend of faith and Enlightenment ideals, and the centralized control sought by political Islam, as highlighted by Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim reformist. Jasser argues that Islamism, unlike the Judeo-Christian principles shaping America's Constitution, rejects individual liberty and enforces a monolithic faith, often tied to anti-Israel and anti-Semitic agendas, as seen in groups like the Muslim Brotherhood. On Power examines the concept of power, its manipulation by politicians, media, and ideologues, and its impact on individuals and society. It aims to provoke a deeper understanding and dialogue about power's application, hoping to serve as a source for liberty against tyranny. Also, Saudi Arabia played a significant role on the 9/11 slaughter of Americans. Their Crown Prince didn't even apologize once yesterday for what they did to us, and the 9/11 families are probably reeling from this. And Qatar protected the leader of the 9/11 attack from the FBI, before he was able to launch his war on America that killed our people. The Supreme Court addressed a case involving President Trump's executive order to end birthright citizenship. These national injunctions represent an unconstitutional overreach by federal district courts, lacking a historical or constitutional basis, and justices like Ketanji Brown Jackson are promoting a "deconstitutionalization" of government by justifying such injunctions as a means to force quick Supreme Court review. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, President Trump deserves great credit for the trillions of dollars he's bringing into our country from foreign governments and overseas corporations! It's absolutely unprecedented! Trump's speech in Saudi Arabia included some of the lines used by the Soros-Koch isolationist crowd about neocons and interventionists, but the irony is that it was given in the context of a globalist outreach effort to make economic and military deals with and between Middle East monarchies/dictatorships and the biggest of America's globalists/internationalists/corporatists. Drawing from Alexis de Tocqueville and Jasser's insights, Mark explores how Islamists, inspired by figures like Sayyid Qutb, aim to dismantle Western society, viewed as ignorant of divine guidance, to impose a rigid “pure Islam.” This clash of ideologies, coupled with the deceptive language of tyrannies like Islamism and Marxism, underscores the battle for liberty and the soul of nations. Later, neocons, many of whom were former Jewish Democrats, left the Democratic Party and adopted a hawkish foreign policy stance. While many are no longer alive, today, some avoid blaming Jews for pushing war, instead pointing to neocons as the instigators. Opposing Iran's nuclear ambitions is patriotism, not neoconservatism, due to Iran's terrorist activities and history of violating agreements. Finally, Ken Hartman, Founder & President of Our Community Salutes, calls in to discuss his national nonprofit organization, which is dedicated to recognizing and supporting high school seniors who plan to enlist in the U.S. Armed Services after graduation. Their goal is to get 250,000 Americans to sign a thank you card to our nation's newest enlistees in the military. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Isn't it uncanny how there are so many inorganic and foreign views that suddenly percolate on right-leaning media? We're joined by Park MacDougald, a writer at Tablet magazine who has been connecting some of the dots with Qatari influence, Don Jr.'s ties to the Middle East, dominance of conservative media, and a sudden shift in views from so many people. In a freewheeling discussion, Park and I discuss the concern of Qatar's shocking influence over our government with a bunch of recent policy changes. At the same time, Park believes that some of Trump's policies might be motivated by other considerations, although a lot of MAGA media are attempting to steer the White House into their views that have suspiciously become pro-Qatari. This is very concerning because those who decry Israel's influence somehow have no regard for the Muslim Brotherhood's influence of every facet of our politics, including their own views.
