If there's any time the media should be especially careful about providing fact-checked information and context, it should be when people are saying they're scared of World War III. Instead, in the wake of U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear sites, we've been getting a rush of talking heads spouting all kinds of claims. Today, Josh explains what the media has failed to make clear about the intelligence on Iran's nuclear capabilities; presidential powers; actions by previous U.S. administrations, and more. Meanwhile, just days before Israel attacked nuclear sites in Iran, the head of a group that follows the Middle East closely predicted what was about to happen. Yet much of the media refuses to hear from him. Gregg Roman of the Middle East Forum joins Josh to discuss some of the biggest media fails.
The Islamic Republic's regime has been battered in both military and political terms. Is this the moment when Iran implodes -- or frees itself from subjugation? Gregg Roman of the Middle East Forum lays out the competing interests, discusses how organic regime change could happen, and who the players are inside and outside Iran that would need to coalesce to make it happen.
In this gripping episode of IsraelCast, host Steven Shalowitz is joined by Gregg Roman, Executive Director of the Middle East Forum, for an unflinching look at Israel's operations against the Iranian regime. Roman, a seasoned geopolitical strategist and former adviser in Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Defense, offers an insider's breakdown of Israel's military campaign against Iran's nuclear and proxy threats. From covert Mossad operations and drone manufacturing hubs inside Iran to the cyber and psychological warfare unfolding behind the scenes, Roman reveals the staggering scale and sophistication of Israel's strategy. The episode also delves into global reactions—from European equivocation to Arab states' quiet approval—and what the path to regime change might look like. Packed with real-time analysis and sobering reflections on global security, this episode is a must-listen for anyone seeking clarity on one of the most consequential conflicts of our time.
The world is waiting to see what Iran's response will be to the US strikes on its nuclear sites. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says the attacks were an "outrageous, grave, and unprecedented violation" of the U-N charter and international law. He says Iran is weighing its options for retaliation and would consider diplomacy only after carrying out its response to the US strikes on its nuclear sites. The US insists the attacks did not target Iranian troops or people, maintaining the mission was not designed to force regime change in Tehran, just to end Iran's nuclear capabilities. Shahram Akbarzadeh is Professor of Middle East & Central Asian Politics and director of the Middle East Forum at Deakin University. In this One on One episode, he's talking to SBS's Rena Sarumpaet about what steps Iran may take next,

On June 6th, we honor those who fought and died to liberate France from foreign invaders who brutally imposed a totalitarian ideology on her people and their continent. Tragically, France today is among the European nations now increasingly occupied, not by Nazis, but by adherents to the Islamic doctrine of Sharia. The current occupation is not yet complete. But the French government has previously acknowledged that over 700 areas of its country are effectively “no-go zones,” where repressive Sharia is the law and first-responders and non-Muslims dare not enter. A new Middle East Forum report warns that governmental acquiescence to Sharia-supremacism is now underway in this country, too. It documents how Plano, Texas is actually paying millions of tax dollars to Islamic organizations espousing wife-beating and other affronts to Judeo-Christian civilization for which Americans have sacrificed everything. Shut them down now. This is Frank Gaffney.

Algeria may be the latest target in efforts to garner further Arab recognition of the Jewish state, despite its Gaza war conduct and rejection of Palestinian national aspirations. To that end, a Philadelphia-based far-right pro-Israeli organisation, the Middle East Forum, has put Algeria in its crosshairs in an apparent attempt to build pressure on the North African state to establish diplomatic relations with Israel. Algeria would be a prize catch.
As countries in the Eastern Mediterranean - particularly Greece, Cyprus, and Israel - deepen their ties, they are also faced with the challenges posed by malign actors across the region. Evangelical Wheaton College outside of Chicago just gave a speaking platform to Munther Isaac, the Palestinian Marxist pastor the Pittsburg Jewish Chronicle calls "The high priest of Antisemitic Christianity."Isaac spoke to a packed audience of over 500 Wheaton students and faculty on March 25 and repeatedly falsely accused Israel of genocide. Remarkably, Munther Isaac was not challenged or confronted for his Antisemitism during his talk at Wheaton, but rather applauded. A tragic and surreal repeat of the Antisemitism of Christians in Germany in the 1930's. Listen now to Aaron's talk with Dexter Van Zile. Dexter is the Managing Editor of Focus On Western Islamism at The Middle East Forum. Dexter has covered the radical anti-Western and anti-Israel narrative promulgated by Isaac and his camp for years and explains what is at the heart of their Antisemitism. The rise of Antisemitism on US college campuses continues to explode. Last week, Comesha Hart, an instructor at Portland Community College and nurse at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland, Oregon, was terminated from her employment because of violent threats against Jews.In an Instagram post, Comesha proclaimed her support for Hamas, confessed that she would never give medical attention to Jews because she “doesn't take care of animals,” stated that Jewish people are “vermin, dogs, and rats,” called for the destruction of Jews by saying “May they all meet their ancestors soon,” and justified the cold-blooded murder of Israeli hostages Shiri Bibas and her two children, Kfir and Ariel at the hands of Hamas terrorists.Join Aaron and guest Dexter Van Zile, editor of Focus on Western Islamism at The Middle East Forum, in a discussion about the rise of hatred toward Jews in the US and the recent deportations of pro-Hamas US college students who are calling for the destruction of the Jewish state.
