Joanna Vargas, esthetician, recognized skin care expert and founder of her eponymous all natural skin care collection, is one of the top celebrity facialists in the industry. Joanna has worked on celebrities, supermodels, and New York and LA’s discerning elite with own brand of facials that will deliver youthful-looking, firmer skin without going under the knife. Her non-invasive techniques, paired with her all natural and organic skin care products will result in natural, healthy, and radiant skin.

Dr. Sarah Driscoll Kuchar '01 is an ophthalmologist with Princeton Eye Group. After graduating from Stuart, Dr. Kuchar attended Yale University, received her medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed her ophthalmology residency training at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.   Sarah is a highly awarded athlete. At Stuart she played field hockey, ice hockey and lacrosse and at Yale she earned varsity letters all four years in both field hockey and lacrosse. She was Yale's all-time leading point scorer in field hockey and 2005 Female Athlete of the Year.    Sarah is also an accomplished marathon runner and mother to two young children.

Dr. Ana Maria Sauthoff Soler ’02 is Stuart's coordinator of service learning and campus ministry. Since graduating from Stuart in 2002, Annie has dedicated her time and studies to social justice work, not just here at Stuart but across the country, and indeed, all over the world.

Caroline McCarthy, Stuart class of 2002 is vice president, communications and content at TrueX, a digital advertising company. She is a storytelling driven marketer, former journalist, TV commentator, and proud ex-Googler. In 2011 Caroline was included in Forbes 30 Under 30 in media. She spoke with us about her journey as a woman in leadership in the world of technology and how her experience at Stuart may have influenced her path.

Lisa Damour, PhD directs Laurel School’s Center for Research on Girls, writes a monthly column for the New York Times, serves as a regular contributor to CBS News, maintains a private psychotherapy practice, consults and speaks internationally, and is a senior advisor to the Schubert Center for Child Studies at Case Western Reserve University.   Dr. Damour is the author of numerous academic papers, chapters, and books related to education and child development, including Abnormal Psychology, a widely-used college textbook co-authored with Dr. James Hansell. Dr. Damour’s recent New York Times best seller, Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood, is available from Ballantine Books, a division of Random House.   Dr. Damour graduated with honors from Yale University and worked for the Yale Child Study Center before earning her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Michigan. She has been a fellow at Yale’s Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy and the University of Michigan’s Power Foundation. She and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters.
