Back to Basics: What Really Works When It Comes to Trauma Healing?

Play Episode Listen Later Oct 19, 2021 41:15

In our latest episode, Mel and I take on a HUGE question - what really works when it comes to trauma healing? One thing we do know is that when it comes to healing from trauma there is no 'one-size-fits-all' solution, we are all wonderfully unique and therefore our healing journeys will be too. With so many modalities out there it can be confusing to know what is the best path to take and we can end up spending so much time and money searching for the right approach. We share our own personal stories of the different things we've tried - you'll get to hear some of my anecdotes and hopefully be amused. Looking back I can certainly laugh! We also discuss our professional opinions and what we know works from knowledge and experience with our own clients. This group is so huge now and it's such a blessing to be able to communicate with so many wonderful people. You (yes, you!) are what makes all of this possible, so if you have any feedback on subjects, guests, or anything we would love to hear from you.
