Con Valley of Angels è stato finalista all'OjodePez Award.

We've toured the Flexibles facilities in Denmark, learning more about subsea flexible pipe, the role of metallurgy in its construction, and several people on the team responsible for making it all happen. On the fourth and final episode of the series, host Michael Gaines reflects on his journey, realizing that what makes NOV unique really is the way we bring together disparate people and cultures to serve a diverse industry. Sitting down with Principle Engineer - Polymers Inger-Margrete Procida and Principle Engineer - Innovation Kristian Glejbøl, Michael learns more about the history of the group, the path that led them to being a market leader in this area over the past half century, and where we're going from here as we continue to develop pipe for higher temperatures, higher pressures, and deeper depths.
After growing up in India and spending his early years working for his family’s agricultural business, Renju Jose Kuruvila relocated to the United States for his education. But instead of going back to India after he earned a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Renju decided to get his U.S. citizenship. Now, he serves as Senior Vice President for the multinational corporation National Oilwell Varco. In this episode, Renju shares what made him decide to remain in the United States after completing his education, as well as his experience securing his citizenship. He also opens up about his personal finance strategies and why the legacy he wants to leave has little to do with money. Listen in to hear how he defines success for himself and his advice for those who have followed or wish to follow a similar path. Over the last two episodes, you've heard a lot about our Flexibles facilities in Denmark. We talked about our subsea flexible pipe, a manufacturing marvel and example of technical know-how that has to operate flawlessly on the ocean floor for 30 years with only one inspection. We also learned about the critical role metallurgy plays in the process, helping us make pipe that can survive through the challenges of high temperatures, high pressures, and sour service. On the third episode of the series, NOV Today host Michael Gaines sits down with Marie Haar and Adam Rubin to talk in detail about the career journeys that led them here, and what makes our pipe so special.
In our last episode, we talked about how our subsea flexible pipe, manufactured in the Flexibles facility in Denmark, operates in some of the world's harshest, most demanding environments for 30 years with only one inspection. On the second episode in the series, we continue the journey, learning about the critical role metallurgy plays in making reliable, high-performance flexible pipe. Listen in as we explore how a deep understanding of the physical and chemical characteristics of metals helps us better understand how we can make pipe that survives through high temperatures, pressures, and sour service. We'll also discuss how our commitment to supply chain excellence and proper qualification and testing ensures our customers always get the very best product.
What if a technology used in the oil and gas industry had to operate flawlessly for 30 years in some of the harshest, most demanding environments on the planet, but it could only be inspected once during that period? On this episode of our "Four Corners" series, NOV Today host Michael Gaines travels to Denmark to visit our Flexibles facility, where he learns that our subsea flexible pipe is just that. Listen in as we explore how superior manufacturing and technical know-how are helping us to give operators peace of mind that their asset will survive for decades despite the challenging ocean conditions.
"A global family." It's one of the core values that drives NOV. From the shop floors to the corporate desks, our employees know that they belong to a community that stretches beyond their immediate coworkers. We empower our people throughout their careers, knowing that our people - not just our products - make us an industry leader. In this episode, we higlight three of our more than 30,000 employees who are shaping our business every day, all while hiding in plain sight.
Imagine taking the premier manufacturing best practices from every NOV facility, combining those with the automotive manufacturing experience of Toyota Corporation, and combining the two into one NOV facility. Sound too good to be true? Come along in this Four Corners episode and listen in as we visit the Intervention and Stimulation (ISE) facility in Kintore, Scotland and discover more about this experiment in human factors and technological innovation, as well as the people behind its inception.
The Fiberglass Systems facility in Plymouth, England – formerly Pipex px- has produced imaginative solutions for a broad range of industries over the last 43 years. It is here where virtually any kind of answer to customer problems can be engineered. Listen in as we kick off the first episode in a new ongoing series called Four Corners that will explore what NOV is doing around the world.
Big Data. Two small words that have an enormous impact on businesses in almost every major industry. Listen in on this initial episode of our ongoing Big Data series, as we talk with NOV’s VP of Engineering Technology, Carl Fehres, and take a visit to Grant Prideco in Navasota, Texas, to begin our discussion on how different parts of our company are effectively and efficiently leveraging this powerful tool.
Mexico has undertaken a major shift in the opening up of their Oil and Gas market. Join NOV Today host Michael Gaines as he travels to Mexico to learn more about this vibrant region of the world.
NOV’s Chief Marketing Officer David Reid sits down with host Michael Gaines to discuss NOV’s new podcast series NOV Today, inspirational leadership, and how failure can propel individuals and companies to achieve greater heights of future success.
