It's a holiday weekend and we are going off the grid into the wild but, instead of missing a week, we decided to start a special side topic where we cover movies we are intimately familiar with and would rank as some of our favorites. This week is Steven Spielberg's mega-blockbuster, Jurassic Park! Don't worry though, with a new dinosaur movie looming in the background we will inevitably cover all of them at a later point and this is merely a side step before we dive into our next franchise covering topic...the DC cinematic universe! So join us next week as we subject ourselves to the opening DC salvo of films! Stay safe out there!!

It's a not so fantabulous episode this week....we've encountered some recording issues and, try as I might, I've managed to salvage what I can so apologies for the audio stutters. For our Leftovers: James continued on with Netflix's Dracula (43:20), Robert & Mike shared in Girl On The Third Floor (46:54), and Mike shouldered the burden of rewatching Lawless (51:55), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (52:25) & Dracula 3000 (52:50).
It's two opposite ends of the spectrum this week as we checked out the new Alien-esque monster flick, Underwater (00:35). The Skywalker Saga has come to a close! And what a close it was.....so we sat down and tried to work through all of our varying levels of disappointment and confusion with this closing chapter in the Star Wars saga (00:51). *Be warned though, we did our best to open up with a spoiler free review but there's a lot to talk about and everything past (07:30) will be deep in SPOILER territory so be mindful of that!*So kick back, relax and enjoy this Holiday debacle and also, congratulations to, Josh Stolarski, our giveaway winner!!
The end is quickly approaching and we tackled all FOUR of the Disney era Star Wars movies. Everything from the spin-offs in Rogue One (01:34) & Solo (18:23), to the two major entries in The Force Awakens (42:02) & the ever-divisive The Last Jedi (01:18:20). It's going to be a long haul; so grab some snacks and no matter how divided the table gets, don't forget to check out our Facebook & Instagram for our Fandango giveaway which will be ending next week when Rise of Skywalker releases and we select a winner. So comment and tag your friends!*Also, apologies for any doggo noises that might have snuck through the editing process. They wanted to join in on the discussion also.
With the finale of the Skywalker Saga looming, we've changed our release schedule to Sunday (Star Wars Sunday!) And since we've dedicated the month to all things Star Wars, we decided to show our appreciation by going back to where it all began.....the Prequel trilogy. From Jar Jar Binks all the way to how coarse sand is, we review and issue our star rating to these truly awful iterations in the galaxy far far away. Plus we've started our giveaway which will be ongoing until Rise of Skywalker releases, so make sure to check for that!(Apologies for the one or two moments where the audio spikes, some of us are louder than others and got very into the discussion. The issue will be rectified by next week!)Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace (01:15)Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones (36:07)Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith (01:09:24)
We're back, and right before it all turns Star Wars we sat down to discuss Rian Johnson's tribute to the who-dun-its of yesteryear, Knives Out (00:30). Plus we set aside half the day to see Martin Scorsese's ode to mobster films, The Irishman (34:11). For our "Weekly Watch;" Aaron finally got around to seeing Raging Bull (01:03:15), Robert revisited the X-Men tour de force Logan (01:05:24), Mike joined forces with Robert and they both saw The King & National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1 (01:08:08), and James' nostalgia for Rumble In The Bronx (01:11:29) was significantly diminished.
What a thrill ride of a week! This week we talk the newest chapter in the Charlie's Angels franchise and, along with that, introduce our new star rating system (amazing, I know). Half of us also went to see James Mangold's Ford v Ferrari and were surprised by how much we liked it. For our "Weekly Watch:" Aaron discussed his foray into Disney+ including some light discussion about the first few episodes of The Mandalorian, Robert revisited the flawed but amazing Tron: Legacy, Mike watched...*sigh*...Jupiter's Ascending, and James brought up Creed II.
This week James joined us as a new guest to discuss what feels like the 30th Stephen King movie this year (except this time this one is pretty decent), Doctor Sleep, as well as Taika Waititi's heartwarming World War II satire/comedy Jojo Rabbit. And for this week's "Weekly Watch": Aaron brought up Netflix's medieval epic The King; Robert was left dumbfounded but entranced by HBO's Watchmen series; Mike showcased The Last Sharknado: It's About Time; and James shared his woes about the CW/Netflix's The Originals.
This week we opted for a movie of our own selection and Robert chose Ridley Scott's flawed crusader epic, Kingdom of Heaven. Afterwards, we convened on the things we've watched recently. Aaron brought up HBO's Chernobyl miniseries, Robert finished the second season of Netflix's Mindhunter, and Mike dipped into a little bit of Ozark and a few questionable movies from the Huluween selection.
We sat down to talk about two complete opposite ends of the film spectrum this week. First up, is Tim Miller's Terminator Dark Fate, the heir apparent to T2: Judgment Day. And we follow it up with Bong Joon Ho's critically lauded Korean sensation/comedy/thriller/current day metaphor Parasite.
This week we dove deep into the dark recesses of the mind and sat down to try to pick apart The Lighthouse, the new unsettling madness thriller from the director of The Witch. Plus, we cover the movies we saw over the week. Aaron brushed up on the Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movies, Robert re-watched the military thriller Sicario, and Mike brought in two with A Million Ways to Die In The West as well as 2011's The Thing prequel.
We've got another double feature and it's a set of real gems. We had a nice brisk discussion of the new Zombieland movie and spent far too long (and maybe far too much alcohol) on the new Will Smith vehicle.....so come hang out! It's a real roller coaster ride...
