En 2015, Carlos Gómez y Adrián Maseda comenzaron a darle forma a una plataforma para automatizar los procesos de venta y mejorar en la experiencia de cliente. Tras un primer año en el que abrazaron todo tipo de empresas y sectores, decidieron dirigir todos sus esfuerzos en el negocio de la restauración. El resultado es una plataforma que hace más fácil el día a día de las marcas de restauración potenciando la fidelización de los clientes con experiencias personalizadas. “Queríamos trasladar esas experiencias perfectas en el mundo online al mundo físico”, resume Carlos Gómez, CEO y cofundador de Cheerfy. Pronto descubrieron la diversidad y amplitud de la industria aunque gracias a una mentalidad innovadora han llevado la experiencia al límite para cadenas como Grosso Napoletano, Manolo Bakes, Aloha Poke, Malvon o Healthy Poke, entre otras. “Las nuevas cadenas y marcas emergentes con mentalidad innovadora se han alineado mejor con nuestra propuesta”, explica. En 2022 Cheerfy cerró una ronda de financiación de un millón de euros que le permitirá impulsar la experiencia en sala, introducir mejoras en su app y expandirse a nivel internacional. “El objetivo es consolidar España, seguir creciendo en Reino Unido y explorar nuevos mercados”, afirma Carlos Gómez, consciente de la velocidad a la que está creciendo la digitalización en el negocio de la hostelería. “Va a haber un efecto darwiniano en el que los que apuestan proactivamente van a ganar y los que se duerman se expondrán a riesgos muy serios. Si parpadeas te lo vas a perder”, advierte parafraseando a Antonio Lobato. Un futuro que no pasa por los robots sino por los “superhumanos” o humanos— empleados de sala— con superpoderes gracias a la tecnología.
