Hey guys…what is your favorite Disney movie? Don't answer that quite yet. Remember when that used to be a semi easy question? Now there are follow up questions. Are we including marvel movies? Do Pixar movies count? Die Hard and Home Alone are technically Disney movies now so can I add those to my list? All I hear is we have several more episode ideas! But Today we will be discussing our top 5 animated Disney movies. To be clear we are not including Pixar because that is its own thing and will be an emergency can't think of a topic this week to be used in the future. As usual we didn't share our lists with each other and by no means are we experts in this or any other category. We're just a few dudes who like to discuss nonsense. Forget the classic Disney Animation. Forget Pixar. Sorry Marvel and Star Wars, you have to sit this list out. This week the guys talk about their favorite live action Disney movies. The 90s are well represented on this list but a lot of old classics get shout-outs.
You ain't never heard reviews like this. Tossed tornadoes, anatomically correct children's toys, and insensitive comments from Robert E. Lee. In this week's installment, Dion, Irv, and Jon rank their favorite animated Disney classics. The fellas first had to narrow down the category to what a Disney "Classic" really includes. Then there was some great discussion and (obviously) good points made about which Disney classic animated movies were the favorites of the dudes voting. At the end of the episode, John Sneller jumps in to provide some insight into Disney movies. Because Dion gets a little long-winded there isn't time for a start one-sit one-cut one. This week we do a fairly poor job of keeping things PG as we share our top ten favorite animated Disney movies of all time. We have a healthy mix of old and new, and try to explore just what makes Disney the best at this genre of story telling. We also discuss the troubling trend of trying to cancel valuable stories with meaningful characters. Join us with a song in your heart, give us a listen while you work, these are definitely just the bear necessities of Disney movies. Let us know your favorite animated Disney/Pixar movie by commenting on Facebook and Instagram, or call in with a voice message. In today's uninspired show, Marc talks about as much of E3 as they can remember, from their highs to their lows, including what made them cry and what made them go "Whoa..." After talking about way more E3 than expected, including why The Crew 2 became a day one purchase for them, Marc talks about Frozen and Pocahontas, the latter of which just so happens to be one of the worst animated Disney films ever made. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly meh) show. P.S., Nothing actually made Marc cry; they are a monster and dead inside. Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage.
