Vinyl-only mix by Maron & Peter Bernath, streamed and recorded live at LEVEL (UP!) w/ ANTON KUBIKOV at Instant-Fogas Komplexum on the 20th September 2024. YouTube ► https://youtu.be/vlEBmRByeW0 Maron - HU Maron has been on the scene as a DJ for the last couple of years, and of course she started on vinyl - no wonder she's already toured Alkotótábort, A38, LÄRM, Toldi, Turbina, Gólya, Pontoon, and started her residency with Lick the Click! for the 2023 summer season. The extent of her enthusiasm is rivalled only by the breadth of her albums, which range from snotty acid to chunky rhythms, light house to sunshine disco. https://soundcloud.com/whosmaron https://www.facebook.com/whosmaron https://www.instagram.com/whosmaron Peter Bernath (RTS.FM Budapest, Lost Minute - HU) Record collector since the late 90's, DJ, producer and curator of RTS.FM's Budapest studio. In 2011 he started also to collaborate with Naga, performing b2b DJ sets and later on organising underground electronic music events, hosting podcast series (on Radiozora.fm) under the name of Lost Minute Budapest. He is the founder of Plug & Lay, an event series - and biweekly show on Tilos Rádió - born as an audiovisual concept incorporating a group of friends, DJs, producers and visual artists to represent a less dancefloor oriented electronic music scene in Budapest. https://soundcloud.com/peterbernath https://www.facebook.com/lostminutebudapest https://www.instagram.com/peterbernath ===== RTS.FM Budapest archives: YouTube: https://bit.ly/rtsfmbudapest SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/rtsfm/sets/rts-fm-budapest Mixcloud: https://www.mixcloud.com/rtsfmbudapest • https://t.me/rtsfm • https://soundcloud.com/rtsfm • https://rts.fm/ • https://facebook.com/rtsfm • https://instagram.com/rts.fm • https://vk.com/rtsfm • https://youtube.com/user/rtsfmmoscow

Streamed and recorded live at the Level Opening weekend in Instant-Fogas Komplexum on the 5th April 2024. YouTube ► https://youtu.be/4AL8HhBl9YU NAGA (House2House / Lost Minute - HU) https://soundcloud.com/dj-naga-1 PETER BERNATH (RTS.FM Budapest / Lost Minute - HU) https://soundcloud.com/peterbernath https://soundcloud.com/lostminutebudapest Naga started out DJing in '94 as the first delicate waves of Budapest based rave culture became surfable. In his long decades in electronics he also contributed to Tilos Radio and Chi-recordings, but his collaborations with DJ friends had the most remarkable effect on the local music scene. With Beta he co-founded Hairy Records, and their House2house has been a regular night since then. With the vinyl-addict DJ/producer Peter Bernath - who is also managing RTS.FM's Budapest studio - they formed a gig series called 'Lost Minute' presenting innumerable guests from the worldwide house-under scene like Ada Kaleh, Anton Kubikov, Christopher Ledger, Delano Smith, John Dimas, Vid, among others. Their yearly b2b sets at Ozora has always been a slow mounting to inner highs - presented with much care and concentration -, and also a nice occasion for a hypnotic gathering. ===== RTS.FM Budapest archives: YouTube: https://bit.ly/rtsfmbudapest SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/rtsfm/sets/rts-fm-budapest Mixcloud: https://www.mixcloud.com/rtsfmbudapest • https://t.me/rtsfm • https://soundcloud.com/rtsfm • https://rts.fm/ • https://facebook.com/rtsfm • https://instagram.com/rts.fm • https://vk.com/rtsfm • https://youtube.com/user/rtsfmmoscow

Avenue Red is proud to present a pair of masterful deep/dub techno mixes created by Alastair Kelly, who comes from the seaside town of Ryde on the north edge of the Isle of Wight, just a few miles off England's south-central coast. Alastair is the man behind the awesome Lempuyang label, which goes from strength to strength as it builds out its impressive roster of luminaries in the deep/dub techno sphere. Lempuyang has pressed and dispatched new weapons-grade materials from many of Avenue Red's most beloved artists, having clocked up 10 releases since the label's inception in late 2021. These artists include some of our previous guests and good friends: OHM, Octal Industries and Hydergine; Manchester's Vinyl Exchange record shop boss and artist J.S. Zeiter; Mosaic label boss Steve O'Sullivan AKA Bluetrain; Icelandic legend Yagya; Japanese artist Altone; Moscow artist Anton Kubikov; Canadian dub techno specialist Deadbeat and mysterious mad hatter Sa Pa, among others. It's truly staggering how far this label has come in 1 short year! These two mixes from Alastair help to colour in the picture of his inspirations and trace how these roots extend to the shoots of his flourishing new imprint, along the way showcasing some of the sublime material it has released so far. And now for part 2... "A pair of mixes from Lempuyang's chief consumer of hot drinks and bread-based snacks. Here for part 2 we have 100 minutes of unrelenting techno rhythms, a bit harder than Avenue Red's usual offering. I suggest this pairs nicely with 4 shots of espresso and a garlic bread. No nonsense on this one, but it's still deep as fuck." Avenue Red presents Wellbeck, a top quality creator and purveyor of deep, dubbed out house and techno sounds. This mix is an expertly crafted, almost shamanic trip through all manner of moody, dark, industrial soundscapes, underpinned with solid grooves all the way. "My name is Lev Golikov AKA Wellbeck. I was born in the south of Russia, Krasnodar city to be precise. With my friend I recorded several releases on the label Pro-Tez, which is based in LA, USA. I played on the same stage with Anton Kubikov, Alex Danilov, OID and with the guys from Gost Zvuk. I also played DJ sets at parties ARMA and Techno Makes Sense. Before recording this mix for Avenue Red I took a lot of time digging at the record store. I wanted the mix to sound harmonious and consistent in my own style of dub techno and dub house. Hope the mix is enjoyed by many!" Lev Golikov, October 2019 https://soundcloud.com/wellbeck https://soundcloud.com/kott_wellbeck https://www.discogs.com/artist/3049903-K%C3%B6tt-Wellbeck

Apparel Music NYE mix 2K17 powered by @kisk Giuseppe D'Alessandro - aka Kisk - is the owner of Apparel Music, a label based in London but with multi-cultural roots. After years spent paying his dues in Milan’s historic clubs, from Old Fashion to Trattoria Toscana, in unauthorized centri sociali or ‘squat clubs’, fashion shows and radio work, he turned his attention to production. He explored a variety of genres, from trip hop to swing, passing through jungle, West London and Detroit house, to deep house, while never abandoning jazz – the wildest and most impeccable of all - progressively building a digital project. Out of this came the concept of Jazzy, the ability to make jazz and electronic music communicate. This passion is also manifest in the Oneboy project - musical instruments played live to a DJ set. Giuseppe put this project together with writer Tatiana Carelli under the name Taji bpm. Oneboy performed at the 2007 Salone Del Mobile furniture show, at various national festivals and events and on an Italian tour in 2008. Also with Taji he created the Discokit® project, a kind of “sensory stimulation kit” – the dance club becomes ‘takeaway’ and enters the world of art with more than 60 events held over two years. The discography is varied and rich in international collaborations, starting with releases for Multivitamins (UK), then for the PRO-TEZ (Russia), The dub (IT) and Vibe Me Records (ES). Apparel Music is happy to present a new Radio show mixed by Polar Lights. Kirill Pavlyashik aka Polar Lights was born and raised in the most western city of Russia, Kaliningrad, also known as Koenigsberg. For the first time he was introduced to music when he witnessed a Nutcracker performance in the kindergarten, which have had a huge impact on him in becoming a musician. Back then, he never knew that he’ll get his self involved into music that far. The music presence was everywhere in his childhood. Kirill describes the Russian enclave as foggy with lots of greyness and not too sunny at all. Nevertheless, it has so many different cultures and people from the post Soviet Union that all together make up such a versatile community for sharing and exchanging ideas. A bit later on, he got more into electronic music once he heard a weekly radio show hosted by Anton Kubikov. At that time, Kubikov was well-known as one-half of SCSI-9 and for his cutting edge production that he used to describe as “hypno house”. At some point, Kirill have decided that this is definitely something he wants to deal with in the future. After getting his hands on various sound applications and experimenting with samples, it was just a question of time until the potential and creativity of the young talent was about to make things happen. It’s been a while since Kirill started to produce tracks under his moniker. Out the next week (18-04-16) ‘Thinking Like Wind’ EP featured by Vadim Chaly and Alex Kozyr, mastered by Lopazz; project curated by Giuseppe D’Alessandro, supported by Osunlade, Andy Bach, Tensnake, Stacey Pullen, Brothers Vibe, Nachtbraker, Guy J, Luciano and many others link: @polar-lights

K1971 PODCAST - WUNDERBLOCK Wunderblock is an electronic music project from Moscow, Russia. Three masterminds met up to create something new, all adding their different spice to the soup. Michael Teploff is known from the beginning of 2000's for his Ill Doggy releases on Salo Records, Berlin, and as one half of Multipliar project (the other half being Anton Kubikov a.k.a. SCSI-9) on the infamous Cologne imprint Trapez. In 2008 Michael has teamed up with the producer/multi-instrumentalist Igor Ivanov and DJ Vladimir Kochenov to push his own limits. The result coming out of this creative pool is not only proof of outstanding handicraft skills, but also the combination of several disparate sources of influence, far beyond the expected minimal heroes. Pioneer composers within art music as well as film scores and visual artists have all played an indirect role in forming the Wunderblock sound - an eclectic mix of minimal techno, house and dub with a touch of ambience and a jazzy feel. The use of not only synths and drum-machines, but also live instruments like acoustic and electric guitars, live percussion and wind instruments, adds to the organic flavour.Wunderblock Records is a brand new label from that team. In 2013 after some releases on different labels and experiments with styles - from techno and house to jazz and ambient - Michael Teploff and Vladimir Kochenov decided to start their own label, with more underground, techno and dub sound. The term of Wunderblock is related to the concept by Siegmund Freud from his work “Notiz uber den “Wunderblock” (1925). Freud regarded the Wunderblock as a perfect metaphor for the process of recording memories. According to Freud, the mind records memories continually receiving stimuli and transferring traces of that information to the unconscious to be stored as memories. This podcast has been recorded by Michael Teploff exclusively for K1971 Podcast.

Avenue Red podcast 007 is an all-vinly mix of deep dubby techno from Gavin Marks who runs the Chicago-based MOSHItaka label, which has just had it's first vinyl release in 2013 with the sublimely accomplished Road To River EP from Moscow dub techno artist Doyeq. MOSHItaka is also a well established podcast with the MOSHImix series, which has featured the talents of well-respected names in the dub techno/deep techno scene including Martin Schulte, Anton Kubikov, Alessandro Crimi (who did our previous episode) and Sven Laux to name a few. A series that has got our attention for sure! We were very pleased that amongst this fresh selection Gavin included some very special older tracks too, with Bvdub's blissfully ambient "Wish I Was Here" from 2008 flowing into "Floatation Verb" by Sven Weisemann, which was originally released on Smallfish in 2008 also. You can never go wrong with the inclusion of a Rhythm & Sound track either - timeless, just the way we like it! @gavin_marks @moshitaka ===== 01 Unknown Artist - Toolwaxx 01 (B1) // Toolwaxx (2013) 02 Tomas Rubeck - Plec // Kina Music (2013) 03 Neurotron - Neurotron 005 (A1) // Neurotron (2013) 04 Recondite - Waldluft // Trolldans (2013) 05 Anton Kubikov - Chords // Pro-Tez (2013) 06 Leif - NDE // Sudden Drop (2013) 07 Bvdub - Wish I Was Here // Millions Of Moments (2008) 08 Sven Weisemann - Floatation Verb // Mojuba (2013) 09 Van Bonn - Baumgartner // Telrae (2013) 10 Rhythm & Sound - Never Tell You (w/ Tikiman) // Burial Mix (1996) 11 Ion Ludwig - Ten Canoes // Eklo (2013) 12 Francis Harris - Picture Us // Scissor And Thread (2012)

The discography is varied and rich in international collaborations, starting with releases for Multivitamins, then for the PRO-TEZ, Circle Music, Dabit, Piston Recordings and Vibe Me Records. In 2009, Giuseppe creates Apparel Music - a ‘kitchen’ of artists from all over the planet. Among the many partnerships are long-established collaborations in Russia with the duo SCSI-9 and in Germany with major artists like Lopazz, Elon, Chris Wood, Tom Clark, Ekkohaus as well as Delano Smith, Moodymanc, Domu, Tuccillo, Ali Kuru, Yapacc, Casio Casino, Sarp Yilmaz, Huxley, Lula Circus, Roy Gilles, Fog, Gavin Herlihy and the list goes on.
