Firmy si zhusta myslí, že jsou kolektivně vyhořelí, pomalí, nepružní, neschopní se orientovat v informačních technologiích. „Je to samozřejmě nesmysl, ale stereotypy jsou nesmrtelné,“ říká zakladatelka agentury My Heroes Zuzana Paulová. „Já totiž vůbec nejsem mužem vědy. Nejsem ani pozorovatelem, experimentátorem či myslitelem. Mám temperament conquistadora, dobrodruha – s náležitou zvídavostí, odvahou a vytrvalostí.“ Takto se v jednom dopise charakterizoval Sigmund Freud. Zakladatel psychoanalýzy nechoval velké sympatie ani k filozofii. Přesto bývá mj. za filozofa označován – už proto, že předložil teorii lidského já, s níž se vyrovnávala řada myslitelů, a zároveň nabídl cosi jako nový jazyk moderního světa.Přinejmenším se zdá, že pojmy jako neuróza, trauma, narcismus jsou pro moderního člověka podstatné. Ale možná žádné z těchto slov nepředčí „nevědomí“, vrstvu našeho já, v níž psychoanalytik hledal odpověď na otázku, proč trpíme. Podle Freudovy nauky nezbývá než jít na nevědomí oklikou: když člověka necháme mluvit, mimoděk na sebe ledacos prozradí. Člověk totiž sám sebe zrazuje; prý z něj zrada proudí všemi póry.Psychoterapeut se pak spolčuje s klientovým nevědomím proti klientovi samému. Proč to spolčení? Lidé se chtějí léčit, ale často se nechtějí uzdravit. Jejich symptomy jsou strategiemi přežití, mnohdy dokonce celoživotním dílem, které nehodlají jen tak zahodit. Vždyť jim v mnoha ohledech dobře sloužilo. Jenže proniknout k nevědomí znamená překročit hranici společenského taktu i vlastního sebeklamu. Freud proto v jednom dopise varuje, že lékař ani pacient se nesmějí obávat nevkusnosti: „Člověk se musí stát zlým chlapem – bez zločinu není výkon.“Ale co je na řeči tak pozoruhodné, že někdy dokáže proměnit i fyzické symptomy, a to bez jediného léku? V řeči totiž opakujeme – byť mnohdy nechtěně – svá traumata, selhání i bolesti. Máme zvláštní sklon vracet se právě k tomu, co nás zraňuje. Toto zjištění Freuda šokovalo. Netvrdil snad sám, že člověk je veden principem slasti? Jenže skutečnost často vypadá jinak: pohybujeme se v zapeklitých kruzích opakování. Freud píše o mužích, jejichž každé přátelství končí zradou; o lidech, kteří nejprve křečovitě vzývají autoritu, aby ji pak s triumfem zničili; o milencích, kteří se pokaždé zamilují do téhož typu člověka, jen aby jejich vztah znovu skončil stejně bolestně. Pozoruhodné je na tom hlavně to, že už zde začíná Freud přecházet od klasického modelu „člověk hledá slast“ k ponuřejší představě: člověk je bytost, která opakuje i to, co ji ničí.Možná nás právě nevědomé opakování nutí, abychom začali opakovat vědomě – a tím se od bolesti alespoň částečně osvobodili. Řeč, vyslovení bolesti, je už sama formou opakování, která může proměnit to, co nás svazuje. Opakování je strukturou naší tragédie i možným východiskem. Ale Sigmund Freud, který celý život bojoval proti iluzím, si nedělal iluze ani o člověku samém. Nevěřil, že by nás nakonec nečekalo selhání, mnohdy bolestivé. Nehraje se o to, zda selžeme; hraje se jen o to, jakou podobu naše selhání získá. A protože jsou některé podoby snesitelnější než jiné, je dobré zavčas si připravit tu nejmilosrdnější.KapitolyI. Odborníci už ji označují jako civilizační epidemii, která vyřazuje z života část společnosti. Alergie trápí třetinu populace a do několika let postihne téměř 40 procent všech lidí. Objevuje se klidně na prahu čtyřicítky nebo padesátky, a to často zcela bez varování. Jindy příznaky upozorňují na problém dlouho, ale dotyčný netuší, že jde o alergii, a navštíví lékaře s únavovým syndromem. „Některé alergie bývají těžko rozpoznatelné. Lidé bývají ráno zahleněni, v průběhu dne mají ucpaný nos, jsou unaveni, mají poruchy koncentrace, poruchy spánku, je to takové trvalé, podprahové dráždění,“ popisuje alergoložka Irena Krčmová a vysvětluje, že za vzestupem stojí měnící se klima, stres, příliš hygieny i změny v mikrobiomu lidí. V novém díle Longevity podcastu Hospodářských novin vysvětluje také, proč se alergie může objevit až v pozdějším věku, doporučuje fígle, které mohou alergikům zabrat, a varuje před nákupem marketingových hloupostí.

V poslední době se v Česku znovu otevírá otázka vztahu státu a církve. Diskuse o možné smlouvě se Svatým stolcem naráží na staré obavy: že by církev získala privilegia stojící mimo dosah moderního práva. Jedním z nejčastěji zmiňovaných bodů je zpovědní tajemství – institut, který se svou absolutností vymyká logice současného právního myšlení. Není náhodou, že právě zde se vede spor. Zpovědní tajemství totiž představuje hranici, na kterou stát naráží – a kterou není schopen snadno překročit, aniž by změnil svou vlastní povahu. V době, kdy roste tlak na transparentnost, kontrolu a odpovědnost, působí existence prostoru absolutního mlčení téměř provokativně. A přesto právě tato „provokace“ odhaluje něco podstatného: ne všechno v lidském životě je určeno k regulaci. Tradice je souhrnem zkušenosti generací – něčím, co vznikalo pomalu, často bez velkých teorií, ale s hlubokým pochopením lidské povahy. Zpovědní tajemství je právě takovou institucí. Po staletí vytvářelo prostor, kde člověk mohl mluvit pravdu o sobě samém – bez obav, bez kalkulu, bez právní obrany. Pokud tento prostor narušíme, nezískáme více pravdy. Získáme jen více ticha. Lidé nebudou otevřenější – budou opatrnější.Moderní stát má nepochybně legitimní ambici chránit spravedlnost a bezpečnost. Ale konzervativní myšlení připomíná, že ne každé dobro lze vynutit zákonem. Existují sféry, kde přílišná horlivost vede k opačnému výsledku. Zpovědnice je jedním z posledních míst, kde se člověk setkává se svým svědomím bez přítomnosti moci. Zásah do zpovědního tajemství by proto nebyl jen technickou právní úpravou. Znamenal by zásadní proměnu role kněze – z důvěrníka by se stal potenciální prostředník mezi jednotlivcem a státem. A jakmile se tato důvěra jednou poruší, nelze ji jednoduše obnovit. Právě proto mnohé státy uzavírají dohody se Svatým stolcem, tzv. konkordáty. Nejde o privilegium, ale o uznání hranic. O vědomí, že existují oblasti lidského života, které mají zůstat mimo přímý dosah státní moci. Je to výraz zdrženlivosti – a zdrženlivost je v politice často ctností vzácnější než aktivita. Obrana zpovědního tajemství tak není obranou minulosti. Je obranou prostoru, kde člověk není redukován na objekt práva, ale zůstává bytostí odpovědnou především sám sobě. A možná právě zde leží jádro celého sporu: společnost, která ztratí úctu k tajemství svědomí, dříve či později ztratí i úctu k člověku samotnému.P. S. Možná nejde jen o vztah státu a církve. Možná jde o něco hlubšího: o to, zda ještě dokážeme přijmout, že existují hranice, které nemají být překročeny – ne proto, že by to nešlo, ale proto, že by se tím ztratilo něco podstatného. V době, kdy chce moderní stát vědět o člověku téměř vše, působí zpovědní tajemství jako tiché, ale pevné „ne“. A právě taková „ne“ bývají pro svobodu často důležitější než všechna hlasitá prohlášení.Přeji klidné a hluboké velikonoční rozjímání – čas, kdy má smysl se na chvíli zastavit, ztišit a možná i bez slov naslouchat tomu, co se v běžném hluku světa snadno ztrácí.Walter Bartoš

Přesto v zemi existují různé formy tichého odporu: „Projevuje se to například tak, že vyšší kasta sleduje jihokorejské seriály. Skrze to přejímá styl oblékání nebo účesy – existují i domovní kadeřnice, které vás trošku upraví. Lidé začínají přejímat i dialekt, třeba říkají ‚kamaráde‘ jihokorejsky, což už je problém, za to vás může policie trestat,“ říká Špitálníková. Z popkulturního hlediska podle ní v Severní Koreji letí hlavně jihokorejská dramata, ale populární je i západní literatura. „Dá se tam sehnat i Harry Potter nebo časopis Vogue. Jediné, co tam nefrčí, je pornografie, ta je příliš tvrdě trestaná. Vysvětluje, proč je pro něj jako novináře klíčové „být u toho, sledovat věci a popisovat je“, ale zároveň si držet odstup od emocí a vlastního prožívání. „Chladný jazyk v médiích je dnes podezřelý,“ říká a hájí věcnost jako základní princip novinářské práce. Podle něj se ale prostředí zásadně proměnilo - sociální sítě úplně zásadně mění všechno a nutí média reagovat na politiky, kteří pracují se šokem, konfliktem a pozorností. „My nemáme být jenom přenašeči hejtu z jednoho místa na druhé,“ varuje. Popisuje i proměnu politiky, kterou podle něj zosobňuje Donald Trump. „Lež je dnes úplně běžný nástroj komunikace,“ říká a upozorňuje, že velká část voličů se k jiným informacím ani nedostane. Podle něj se tím posouvají hranice toho, co je ještě přijatelné a vzniká prostředí, ve kterém obhájíte úplně cokoliv. Velkou část rozhovoru věnuje Maďarsku, které podle něj ukazuje, kam až může zajít koncentrace moci. Mluví o zneužívání tajných služeb, o systematickém oslabování médií i o tom, jak dlouho může takový systém fungovat. Přesto považuje vítězství Pétera Maďara za zásadní moment. „Nebál bych se to srovnat s nějakou formou revoluce,“ říká a připomíná, že Orbánova moc byla v míře, kterou jsme po roce 1989 u nikoho neměli. Zároveň ale varuje, že žádná změna není zárukou lepšího vývoje: „Nikdo nemá jistotu, že tu moc nezneužije.“ Český kontext vidí jako méně vyhrocený, ale ne bez rizik. Mluví o tom, že se mění stranický systém, že přibývá tlak na veřejnoprávní média a že část politiků přebírá styl komunikace založený na konfliktu a záměrném provokování. „Lidé jako Petr Macinka nebo Filip Turek, to je vlastně druh nějaké trollí politiky,“ říká. Kriticky se vyjadřuje i k Andreji Babišovi, u kterého nechápe snahu oslabovat média. „On to vlastně vůbec nepotřebuje,“ dodává s tím, že právě tyto kroky mohou naopak společnost mobilizovat. Bude Česko následovat slovenský příběh? Spisovatel a novinář Arpád Soltész varuje, že klíčové změny mohou probíhat nenápadně a rychle.
