Millions of men suffer from premature (early) ejaculation, the most common sexual disorder in men younger than 40 years, with 30-70% of males in the United States affected to some degree at one time or another. This can be a major relationship issue for both partners and is often viewed as a challenging matter to discuss. Coupled with this, existing treatments like sprays, creams, and antidepressants have side effects or are found to be not very effective.Morari Medical's CEO and Founder, Jeff Bennett, joins this episode to share how they are developing a wearable patch that uses neurostimulation to delay ejaculation. The patch is placed on the perineum, the area between the scrotum and the penis, and users can control the settings through an app to find what works best for them.As Morari gears up for FDA approval and aims to be on the market in early 2025, Jeff discusses how he has transitioned from working at Boston Scientific to leading not just a startup, but a movement to make premature ejaculation no longer a taboo topic. From being spotlighted on Jimmy Kimmel, to winning numerous accolades, Jeff's story will be sure to leave you informed and inspired.

Jeff Bennett is an Aerospace Engineer and the owner of Bennett Analytics, a firm that offers state-of-the-art engineering services like aerodynamics, wind tunnel testing, and systems engineering- All talents that have helped things like the Space Shuttle. Bennett can also help your boat go really, really fast! Stemming from a love of fast boats, Bennett has methodically blended his experience from a career in the Aerospace industry (where he worked for Aeronautics giants General Dynamics, McDonnell Douglas, Rockwell, and Boeing) into a vast knowledge of bottom design and jet pump set-up that has led to many national championships and world records in drag boat racing. Bennett made the decision, early in his career, to focus on hull design. “While other people spent their time building more power in their engines,” Bennett told us, “I quickly discovered that the key to performance was through modifying the shape of the race boat bottom. I was able to make them much faster and, more importantly, a lot safer.” But Bennett is more than a “bottom guy”. His years of testing and analyzing data led him to pioneering the use of computers and data analysis in Jet Boat racing. Working with Racepak data systems, Bennett was instrumental in developing the systems that are found on most competitive drag boat teams. Bennett has become the “the computer guy” on a number of these teams, ready, at the race track or on the end of a phone line, to “plug in” between rounds to determine what went wrong, what went right, and what can be done to make it better. Thank you for joining us for a very special episode of Powerboat Talk.

In this season of Ecosystems for Change, I'm talking to my guests about their experience with quitting. As much as I dislike quitting–I really do–I understand it is part of life. We evolve and so do the circumstances, organizations and people around us.As we uncovered in season two, ecosystems are complex, adaptive systems; they are constantly shifting and changing and as a result, people move in and out of them at different times. As builders who like to start new things, it's only logical that everytime we start one thing we technically have to quit something else to create the space for this new thing to flourish and thrive. In season three, we heard first-hand accounts of what happens when we keep piling on, trying to squeeze one more ounce of productivity out of ourselves because we somehow feel like we want to do it all.I have come to believe that quitting is normal, healthy, and simply part of the natural cycle of progress. And yet, it is still somehow taboo. The idea that quitting somehow is a sign of failure, of suddenly not caring about the cause anymore, means that many of us passionate change makers hang in there longer than we should or want to.That's what I want to talk about in Season 5. I'm sitting down with ecosystem builders who stopped playing–either temporarily or for good. I want to find out what led to the depletion of their resources–either internal or external–and if there's anything we can do to change course and stop that depletion. What happens when you decide or you're forced to step away from your life's work? We'll get a little closer to an answer in this season.Listen to the full episode to hear: What complex adaptive systems can teach us about quitting Why ecosystem building is like an infinite game with shifting rules, tactics, players, and timelines Three perspectives on stepping away from the game of ecosystem building Learn More About Anika Horn: Website: www.socialventurers.com Instagram: SocialVenturers Newsletter: Sign up for Impact Curator Resources: The Infinite Game, Simon Sinek The Infinite Game of Ecosystem Building, Social Venturers Bonus Episode: The Ecosystem Builders: Where Are They Now? It's nearly Christmas and I want to share a very uplifting conversation with you this week on Chiseled. Jeff Bennett is a friend of mine dating back 30+ years from our time playing baseball at Florida Atlantic University. Jeff doesn't share any terrifying or traumatic stories this week — unless you count the fact he has EIGHT children! But he calls them "the greatest blessing" he could have so it sounds all good. Jeff is a "salt of the earth" type of guy. He says he and his wife started their family a little later in life. They didn't decide how many kids they wanted to have. As he puts it, they just didn't like the word (birth) "control." "I am asked all the time are you Mormon or are you Catholic. The list goes on and on, and I say no, I just really like her. I like her a lot," he says. Jeff's been a commercial airline pilot since 1994, and started flying professionally in 1991. As you can imagine, being up in the front seat at 40,000 feet, you get to see some miraculous creations — the shifting of light between day and night, meteor showers, comets, bright stars, sunsets and moon rises. Jeff knew his whole life that he was going to be a pilot, just as he knew at age 10 that he was resolute in his faith and accepted Jesus as his king and savior. In this Christmas episode, Jeff gracefully shares his convictions. His commitment, calm, and the purity of how he lives and loves the Lord are a beautiful testament this holiday season. Whether you're a Christian or not, I encourage you to tune in and feel the power of Jeff's faith wash over you.

Fort Worth Cold Case detectives solved the murder of 17-year-old Carla Walker after it had gone cold for nearly five decades. They analyzed old evidence using genetic genealogy and new DNA extraction technology pioneered by Othram, a forensic genealogy lab in the Woodlands, a suburb of Houston. 17-Year Old Carla Walker Abducted in August of 1974 Othram matched the DNA to a test submitted to a genealogy site by a member of the killer's family tree. Othram did not disclose the relative's name. Cold case investigators Jeff Bennett and Leah Wagner identified 78-year-old Glen McCurley, who was among the original suspects. McCurley confessed to them when confronted with the DNA evidence. Genetic genealogy was used in the Golden State Killer case, but this was the first time the technology made it to a courtroom. Glen McCurley Sentenced To Life In Prison Under McDuff Capital Murder Law McCurley pleaded guilty after two days of testimony in his capital murder trial in August of 2021. Fort Worth Cold Case detectives solved the murder of 17-year old Carla Walker after it had gone cold for nearly five decades. They analyzed old evidence using genetic genealogy and new DNA extraction technology pioneered by Othram, a forensic genealogy lab in the Woodlands a suburb of Houston. 17-Year Old Carla Walker Abducted in August of 1974 Othram matched the DNA to a test submitted to a genealogy site by a member of the killer's family tree. Othram did not disclose the relative's name. Cold case investigators Jeff Bennett and Leah Wagner identified 78-year old Glen McCurley who was among the original suspects. McCurley confessed to them when confronted with the DNA evidence. Genetic genealogy was used in the Golden State Killer case, but this was the first time the technology make it to a courtroom. Sumner is joined on this week's Hard Agree by the creator of the Sumner Family's all-time favorite Cartoon Network show, the always-cheerful and gentlemanly Van Partible! 46 years after the abduction, torture, and murder of a 17-year-old girl, cold case detectives with the Fort Worth police department arrested a 78-year old Glen McCurley and charged him with capital murder. McCurley abducted Carla Walker from the parking lot of a bowling alley in 1974. Walker had been to a Valentine's day dance with her 17-year old boyfriend. McCurley pistol-whipped Walker's boyfriend and tried to shoot him in the head three times but the pistol's magazine fell out. Walker's lifeless body was later found dumped in a culvert. Fort Worth Police detectives Jeff Bennett and Leah Wagner were the primary investigators who reopened this case in 2019. New, advanced DNA testing matched McCurley's DNA to stains found on Carla Walker's clothing. The 46-year old unsolved case came to an end in August of 2021 when McCurley pleaded guilty during his murder trial. He was sentenced to life in prison. Retired Homicide Detective David Thornton helped start the cold case unit. At the outset, investigators faced 750 unsolved murders dating back to 1966. Thornton put into motion an effort that is still solving cold cases in which the original investigation failed to produce sufficient evidence to support murder charges. In this edition of our True Crime Reporter Confidential, Robert Riggs and Bill Johnston take listeners inside homicide investigations and cold cases. It is nothing like what is portrayed on popular TV shows. That's Hollywood. This is real life.

This week, host David Ponraj speaks with Jeff Bennett, president of StartupSac, an initiative he co-founded to grow the startup ecosystem in Sacramento, CA. StartupSac has evolved from a self-funded passion project into a go-to source of entrepreneurial support and an online hub for information and resources about startups in the region. David and Jeff explore the vital role of grassroots organizations like StartupSac in creating a culture of entrepreneurship in a community (and why they should be funded). They discuss models for ecosystem building, challenges around data, and ways to raise awareness about the power of entrepreneurship in economic development strategy. Jeff Bennet owns and operates ice cream stores and a cafe in Fresno, California. He joins Chris Spangle to talk about the challenges of navigating a business through both a pandemic and odious government policies. (Editor's Note: The Stay-at-home order was lifted in California without warning this past weekend. We'd like to think he got wind of this devastating interview and its effect on the body politic.)
