WNBA legend Lisa Leslie has been recirculating on social media this week...with a conversation that she had with Draymond Green regarding WNBA salaries. Lisa Leslie demanded that NBA players sacrifice their salaries...to give more money to WNBA players. Unfortunately for Lisa Leslie...Draymond Green immediately shutdown this unreasonable demand. We reveal and react to the exchange...between Draymond Green and Lisa Leslie. We discuss the absurdity of Lisa Leslie demanding that...NBA players sacrifice their salaries for WNBA players. We also explain how this mentality of entitlement is prevalent throughout the WNBA...and why the WNBA should be a standalone entity. WNBA legend Lisa Leslie spoke with USA Today this weekend...and defended Caitlin Clark against the jealousy and resentment she's received in the WNBA. Napheesa Collier echoed similar sentiments this week on ESPN...as she defended Caitlin Clark being heavily featured by the WNBA on national TV. The attitude towards Caitlin Clark from her colleagues in the WNBA...seems to be making a positive shift. The question is...will Caitlin Clark being embraced have a negative impact on WNBA ratings? We reveal and react to clips of Lisa Leslie and Napheesa Collier defending Caitlin Clark. We commend Lisa Leslie and Napheesa Collier for coming to the defense of Caitlin Clark...but question whether Caitlin Clark being embraced is good for the WNBA. We explain how the conflict and drama generated interest in the WNBA last season...and question if WNBA ratings would thrive without it. Inglewood, California. Home of the 2028 Summer Olympics, birthplace of WNBA legend Lisa Leslie, setting of the Rick Famuyiwa film Dope, and in the summer of 1995 a young Aaquil Iben Shamon Brown welcomed his younger brother Khalif into the world. The duo would later be known by the noms de guerre Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee, or more widely known as Rae Sremmurd. Two decades would pass before the brotherly pair would take the world by storm with their debut triple platinum single "No Flex Zone" and another decade still before the iconic trap track would be immortalized in a commercial so audacious, so entrancing that it captured the hearts and minds of broadcast television viewers the world over.We focus on a father sitting around the family dinner table with his wife and two daughters engaged in a battle of wills, competing to emerge victorious in a match of Hasbro's ever popular board game, Jenga. He locks in, laser focused, the dulcet tones of Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee surround us, only to be distracted by his younger daughter with the allure of an irresistible chicken sandwich. The tower collapses, game over.Hard cut. We pan out to reveal the entire family basking in the afterglow of a hard fought battle, with a celebratory feast of east Texas' own: Wingstop. Dad has the sandwich in hand. Baskets upon baskets of their sumptuous chicken tenders, each daughter with one of their own. Ramekins of the classic house made ranch dressing placed generously around the table. The smell of freshly cut french fries fills the air. This meal has it all. Rae Sremmurd fades out, sending the viewer to a palace of nostalgic bliss. This is the vision of an idyllic world. Family, brotherhood, competition, togetherness, the American Dream, desire, Black Beatles, and fried chicken. In Hour 1… [03:38] WE'RE IN DAY 2 OF AIYUK WATCH It's really like day 62, but GoJo and Golic react to Jerod Mayo channeling his inner Belichick when he spoke about Brandon Aiyuk yesterday after reports say the Patriots have "decided not to explore any further trade possibilities" for Brandon Aiyuk. So there's still a chance for the Steelers, right? [14:55] SIRIANNI'S RELATIONSHIP WITH JALEN HURTS With the 2024 season on the horizon, new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore might help bridge the gap between Hurts and Sirianni. GoJo and Golic discuss the next stress test for the QB-HC relationship as Sirianni coaches for his job and Hurts fights to reclaim MVP form. [22:33] SEC COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREVIEW: BAMA GoJo and Golic ponder five questions going into this season for the SEC, starting with Alabama. Can Kalen DeBoer live up to expectations in Tuscaloosa? He's never lost more than three games in a season, and Alabama is ranked fifth in the preseason coaches poll, their lowest since 2009. [25:49] CAN BRIAN KELLY CONTINUE HIS SUCCESS IN YEAR THREE? Kelly is 33-5 in his third year in his last three spots. Can he replace Daniels and Nabers? Garrett Nussmeier takes over at QB, and the defense needs to improve. LSU gets Alabama and Oklahoma at home, so their schedule is favorable. [28:07] HOW DO TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA FIT IN? Texas and Oklahoma join the SEC, but are they top-tier or second-tier teams this season? While Oklahoma faces a tough road with all five starting OLs gone, their counterparts in Texas are ready to make a playoff bid, adding to what we expect will be a number of playoff-bound SEC teams. [33:53] USMNT CAPTAIN TYLER ADAMS JOINS Bournemouth midfielder and USMNT captain Tyler Adams talks about recovering from back surgery, team dynamics following coming up short in Copa America, and the recent USMNT coaching situation. Adams shares his thoughts on the future of USMNT and the consistency and pride he has in our USWNT as they compete for Gold in the Olympics. [43:45] GOJO & GOLIC GOLD ZONE: OLYMPIC RECAP The USA leads the gold count. Flavor Flav's US Women's water polo team will face Australia in the semis, but GoJo and Golic focus on Women's soccer, moving on to the gold medal game with an extra-time goal against Germany. Also touching on Gabby Thomas winning gold in the 200m, Cole Hocker surprises with a gold in the 1500m, and congratulations to Kevin Durant for breaking Lisa Leslie's record for most points in Team USA history.
