0:00 .... Ross hello and welcome, introduces the panel, and dedicates show #158 to Jack McVeigh of the Houston Rockets who is the only NBA player to wear uniform #58. 1:33 ... Instant reaction to Tuesday night's game #4 of the Knicks/Pacers Eastern Conference Finals playoff series. 2:45 ... Bruce highlights the performances of Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, and Pascal Siakam who were the biggest reasons Indiana took game #4 and grabbed a 3-1 series lead. 3:53 ... Ross pointed out how it was a game of runs but Indiana never allowed New York to really get close enough to threaten the Pacers. 4:55 ... World B was disgusted with the sloppy play of the Knicks and feels they need to reduce turnovers in game 5 if they hope to extend the series. He is also concerned about the health of Karl-Anthony Towns who hurt his knee in the 4th quarter on Tuesday night. 7:23 ... The crew previews game 5 in New York and discusses if Tom Thibodeau will dial back his rotation as he did in the first two games. 10:17 ... Ross is concerned about how Towns will be perceived by the NY fans if he doesn't play in game 5 due to his knee. Bruce needs Mikal Bridges to show up big in game #5, but World B points out how hard Bridges has to work on defense against Haliburton. 14:38 ... Ross tees up a brief discussion on how Thibodeau expanded his rotation and how Josh Hart nudged him into doing it by offering to come off the bench and allow Mitchell Robinson to start games 3 and 4. 16:00 ... Western Conference Finals discussion as Oklahoma City won Monday's game #4 to put a stranglehold on their series against Minnesota. Bruce felt the tone was set in the first quarter. World B says the series is over now that OKC has a 3-1 series lead and it was impressive how they bounced back from a 42 point loss on Saturday. Ross agrees and praises Jalen Williams of the Thunder for his great performances. Everyone feels the series is over except for the final result. OKC's defense is the decisive factor. 23:25 ... Anthony Edwards needs a great performance in game 5 after scoring just 13 points in game 4. World B feels he is not holding himself accountable. 24:18 ... Ross wants to praise Minnesota's Nickiell Alexander-Walker whose great postseason performances will help him find a team willing to pay him big bucks as a free agent this off-season. 24:50 .... Shai Gilgeous-Alexander beat Nikola Jokic for the MVP Award ... the guys discuss the large margin of victory in the voting and how both players were most deserving of the award. 28:13 ... All-NBA Team discussions ... On the first team the only quibble was Donovan Mitchell making it over Anthony Edwards, Jalen Brunson, and Stephen Curry. 30:33 .... On the second team, the guys discussed LeBron James making it in spite of ESPN's Brian Windhorst not voting him on any of the three All-NBA teams. 33:36 ... On the third team, Bruce bemoaned the fact that Jaylen Brown fell two games short of the 65 game minimum to qualify for All-NBA. Bruce felt he would have made the third team, but sacrificed an individual award in order to be healthier for the playoffs and Bruce is really annoyed at some Celtics fans who are blaming Brown for the team's earlier than expected postseason exit. World B felt Tyler Herro should have made third team over James Harden. Ross pointed out that if not for injury, Victor Wembanyama would also have probably made 2nd or 3rd team All-NBA and probably also won Defensive Player of the Year. 37:08 ... Smokin' Hot Take from World B ... Cade Cunningham will be first team All-NBA next season. This bodes well for the Pistons ascending into the top 4 in the eastern conference next season. 40:10 ... Final Thoughts ... Bruce on how OKC's comeback from a 42 point loss to Minnesota last weekend reminds him of two former NBA Championship teams that had similar experiences 40 seasons ago: the 1984 Celtics and the 1985 Lakers. 41:30 .... World B on how the Knicks loss to Indiana in game one was not the biggest choke in the Knicks history. It was 30 years ago when Reggie Miller made the Knicks the worst chokers in franchise history. Tyrese Haliburton will clearly haunt World B's dreams for many years to come. 46:16 ... Ross on how all the off-season transactions will be very exciting this year. And from that he says goodbye and "see you next week." TRT 46:57

In a thrilling game one, Tyrese Haliburton hit Reggie Miller's choke celebration and the Pacers beat the Knicks. Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart were not the best versions of themselves. Aaron Nesmith played great, making a bunch of threes with such high stakes, but let's not pretend he was defended well by OG Anunoby. The Knicks are known to give up threes, while Boston couldn't capitalize, Indiana did. Game 2 is a must-win for the Knicks. Plus, Larry David cam for the Pacers' fourth quarter comeback! You might think Haliburton's buzzer beater is our Iciest Play of the Week, but we have another play we think is icier. Then, we play Prop-A-Slot! Learn more about your ad choices. The Knicks blew a big fourth quarter lead and lost game 1 to the Pacers in OT. Tyrese Haliburton did the choke sign after tying the game in regulation, reminiscent of Reggie Miller back in the day. Gio is still taking the Knicks and is encouraged by the way they played and how easy it looked at times for them to score. Gio thinks the Knicks will stomp them on Friday. Let's not forget the Knicks won the series against the Pacers when Reggie Miller did the choke move.
Hour 1 The Knicks lost Game 1 to the Pacers in overtime after blowing a significant fourth-quarter lead. Tyrese Haliburton made a "choke" gesture after tying the game in regulation, echoing Reggie Miller's past antics. Despite the loss, Gio remains confident in the Knicks, believing they will dominate Game 2, especially recalling their past series win against the Pacers after Miller's similar gesture. In other sports news, the Yankees secured a walk-off win against the Rangers with a home run from Jasson Dominguez, and the Mets defeated the Red Sox, thanks to Brett Baty's three RBIs. The show concluded with Gio reiterating his faith in the Knicks, addressing calls from concerned fans. Hour 2 We were encouraged by the Knicks' offensive performance despite their loss. Gio received an old Washington Post article from 1989 where Michael Wilbon wrote about Boomer. A caller mistakenly identified Fat Joe at the game, but Gio's research revealed it was actually one of CC Sabathia's agents. A caller suggested players should go home after a loss and speak to the media the next day. The show then featured a clip of Marv Albert interviewing Boomer after his Super Bowl loss. Jerry's update included Pacers radio audio of Haliburton's shot that they initially thought was a game-winner. In other sports, Jasson Dominguez hit a walk-off home run for the Yankees against the Rangers, and the Mets beat the Red Sox with a Francisco Lindor home run. Jerry also played his signature "What the hell is that sound?" segment. Hour 3 Tyrese Haliburton's "choke" gesture toward the Knicks in Game 1 could become a defining moment of the series. In a show of local team spirit, NYC has even renamed some streets and intersections after Knicks players, prompting Boomer to quip about taking a picture at "Precious Achiuwa Place'. Jerry's update included Kevin Harlan's call of the Pacers' overtime comeback win. Tommy Lugauer offered "3 things to know" about the loss, which Ben Stiller notably "agreed" with in a quote tweet. In other sports, Jasson Dominguez hit a walk-off home run for the Yankees (with Dave Sims on the call), and Colts owner Jim Irsay passed away at 65. NFL news included the "Tush Push" not being banned, described by Jeffrey Lurie as a "wet dream," and Aaron Glenn's early impressions of Justin Fields in camp. The segment ended with a discussion about one of Boomer's friends who suspected he had a kidney stone. Hour 4 Listeners called in to discuss attending "Kickoff To Summer" and the Knicks' blown lead in their Game 1 loss to the Pacers. Jerry's final update featured Kevin Harlan's call of the Pacers' comeback win.In other sports, the Mets defeated the Red Sox thanks to Brett Baty's three RBIs, and Jasson Dominguez hit a walk-off homer for the Yankees against the Rangers. The Florida Gators' White House visit included Trump's comments on Tim Tebow and a jab at the Jets. The "Moment of The Day" covered kidney stones, penis problems, and Mark Chernoff's love for hump day. The hour concluded with news that the Islanders are seeking a President of Operations and the Maple Leafs are allowing them to speak with Brendan Shanahan.

Potacast'in yeni bölümünde Kaan Kural ve Orkun Çolakoğlu, NBA Konferans Finalleri'ni konuşuyor.

Alex Golden is joined by Ryan Loyd, a long time Pacers/NBA to discuss a lot on today's show. The guys revisit Reggie Miller's 8 points in 9 seconds on the 30th anniversary of the historic moment, discuss how Haliburton's moment against Cleveland will be as memorable as 8.9, what to make of Cleveland with the uncertainty of their roster's health, how Indiana can attack the Cavs even more than in the previous two games, the importance of getting Siakam established on the offense early on, and how Rick Carlisle has fared against Kenny Atkinson.

(00:00-32:34) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query sharing his thoughts on the Indiana Pacers pulling off a miraculous win, once again, in the playoffs. Former Indiana Pacer Austin Croshere joins the program to weigh in on how the Pacers were able to overcome a twenty-point deficit. Austin comments on the physicality that Indiana is playing with in the playoffs, how the crowd poked the bear by chanting “overrated” when Tyrese Haliburton was at the free throw line and discusses him being inducted into the Southern Basketball Hall of Fame the other day. (32:34-36:18) – After a lengthy first segment, Jake and Eddie give some brief thoughts on last night’s game by discussing when they started feeling like the Pacers could complete the twenty-point comeback. (36:18-44:03) – The first hour of today’s show concludes with Jake taking calls from Pacers fans sharing their excitement about last night’s win, and if they ever turned the game off with how it started. (44:03-1:11:02) – With so many fans wanting to express their feelings about last night’s game, Jake continues taking calls from listeners that bring up various points of last night’s game that they thought played a big role in the Pacers win. (1:11:02-1:17:04) – While preparing for today’s show last night, Jake was watching the Haliburton game winning sequence, and thought it looked familiar. He ties together Reggie Miller’s 8 points in 9 seconds, Purdue’s NCAA Tournament loss to Virginia, and Haliburton’s game winner. (1:17:04-1:28:35) – Hour number two concludes with Jake reacting to what Shaq said last night after the Pacers game about Tyrese Haliburton and the approach the Pacers should have heading home up 2-0. (1:28:35-1:52:49) – Pacers radio sideline reporter, Pat Boylan, makes another appearance on Query & Company to evaluate how critical Aaron Nesmith was last night for the Pacers in the fourth quarter, views the turnover issues for the Pacers in a positive way because of being able to win despite the woes, highlights some potential ways that the Pacers can improve defending the pick-and-roll, and believes that a big Pascal Siakam game is coming soon with how quiet he’s been in this series. (1:52:49-2:02:24) – Jake and Eddie take a break from the NBA to chat about some of the NFL news from today. They discuss George Pickens being traded from Pittsburgh to Dallas and how there are so many teams in the same lane as the Indianapolis Colts right now. (2:02:24-2:10:39) – Today’s show closes with Jake and Eddie discussing their plans for the rest of the night and Jake previewing tonight’s edition of Beyond The Bricks!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Around The NFL: The NFL isn't likely to have the Chiefs, or anyone else, permanently host Christmas games. Players set to attend the draft & more. Anatomy of an NBA champion, and do the Rockets have it? What's Popping, Reggie Miller silliness, Astros back in action, & more.
ITL kicks things off with a look at the Warriors vs. Grizzlies—what made that game worrisome moving forward? Meanwhile, Hunter Brown shines for the Astros, and the question must be asked: is he becoming the ace? QOTD: What are some "guy code" rules that should never be broken? In Around the NFL, the league isn't planning to give the Chiefs—or anyone—permanent hosting rights for Christmas games. Plus, we dive into the anatomy of an NBA champion—do the Rockets have what it takes? In What's Popping, Reggie Miller gets silly, and the Astros get back in action. Nick Caserio speaks with just 8 days until the NFL Draft, and ITL breaks it down. Plus, in Lunch-Time Confessions, did Potty Mouth Nick make an appearance? To wrap up, it's a full reaction to Caserio's press conference, and in Figgy's Mixtape, we spread the Rockets love, and wonder: how exactly will Roger Goodell announce Travis Hunter on draft night?
Send us a textIn this episode we talk with Isabel "Iz" King about:Being newly pregnant as an endurance athlete, and how that affects nutritionMental willpower through long bike races and injuryIsabel “Iz” King is a professional off-road cyclist from California who likes to push herself to new limits on the bike, while inspiring others to attack challenges with a smile. She didn't take a traditional path to becoming a professional off-road cyclist. Iz began her athletic career at Columbia University, playing D1 soccer, where she finished as the team's captain, first-time all-Ivy League honors and she earned the Ali Ahern MVP award. Despite those accolades and the momentum she built, she traded in her cleats for the world of finance post undergrad. She did find her way back, though. She discovered the world of endurance sport through triathlon while attending business school at UCLA Anderson. She eventually qualified to compete as a pro triathlete during her third 70.3 Ironman. The lure of cycling was too strong, and Isabel tabled her plans for post-grad work to pursue triathlon. However in 2020, she was inspired by the world's events to reimagine her athletic career, putting her training to good use to raise money for UCLA healthcare workers. She also partnered with Reggie Miller to speak out against social justice during this time. These days, Iz is back on the trails, and you can spot her in her signature orange kits—training hard on the roads of California and lining up for the LifeTime Grand Prix gravel and mountain bike races—always with a big smile on her face, proving that fast is fun and friendly. Please note that this podcast is created strictly for educational purposes and should never be used for medical diagnosis and treatment.Connect w/ Iz: IG: www.instagram.com/king_izStrava: https://www.strava.com/pros/20067483YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@king_izMentioned:LMNT electrolyte: https://amzn.to/4jdIDb5Carbs Fuel Drink Mix: https://amzn.to/3E5aUSfBrands that are supporting her as a pregnant athleteCamelbak: https://amzn.to/4cb63viScott Bikes: https://www.scott-sports.com/us/en/sports/bikeShimano: https://amzn.to/4j0nUHZGarmin: https://amzn.to/3FPTk5eCarbs Fuel: Shop The Feed Vittoria: https://vittoria.com/MORE NR New customers save 10% off all products on our website with the code NEWPOD10 If you would like to work with our practitioners, click here: https://nutritional-revolution.com/work-with-us/ Save 20% on all supplements at our trusted online source: https://us.fullscript.com/welcome/kchannell Join Nutritional Revolution's The Feed Club to get $20 off right away with an additional $20 Feed credit drop every 90 days.: https://thefeed.com/teams/nutritional-revolution If you're interested in sponsoring Nutritional Revolution Podcast, shoot us an email at nutritionalrev@gmail.com.
