The second segment features another pair of Blue Jays starters trying to put themselves in the 2019 rotation. Andrews dismays at what has become of Marco Estrada and wonders what the change-up specialist has left in his tank going forward. Meanwhile, Sean Reid-Foley was dazzling in his third MLB start, and Andrews believes that this is closer to the real pitcher the Blue Jays have as opposed to his first two starts against Kansas City and New York. In the final segment, Andrews highlights Jonathan Davis, who appears to be on his way to Toronto to join the team, and picks out a couple more players who could join him. When combined with Aaron Sanchez and his finger issues, the Nova Scotian paints a picture of a pair of starters who need to think about the future as opposed to just getting back on the mound. The second segment features another pair of Blue Jays starters trying to put themselves in the 2019 rotation. Andrews dismays at what has become of Marco Estrada and wonders what the change-up specialist has left in his tank going forward. Meanwhile, Sean Reid-Foley was dazzling in his third MLB start, and Andrews believes that this is closer to the real pitcher the Blue Jays have as opposed to his first two starts against Kansas City and New York.In the final segment, Andrews highlights Jonathan Davis, who appears to be on his way to Toronto to join the team, and picks out a couple more players who could join him. In addition, Andrews offers a prediction for who comes off the 40-man roster for Davis, and it does not look good for Dalton Pompey.Follow the podcast on Twitter @LockedOnJays and follow the host @NeoAC18!Subscribe on Google Play and iTunes! This episode is sponsored by Locked on Fantasy Football 24.7, For HIMS and Locked on College. Lets get candid. Dalton Pompey, Blue Jays prospect and current Bison, chats with Barry about the life and times of the former. Dalton talks about dealing with the emotional aftermath of an emotional outburst that saw him go head to head with his manager and the feelings that led to him letting his emotions seep into a public forum. Everything from watching teammates get call ups to how he's staying positive is uncovered. Its a candid look into the mind of an athlete. The First Pitch is, as you'd expect, about the trading of Josh Donaldson. Barry and Matt chat about the trade, where the Jays go from here and project what this will mean for the team next season. Fans are angry and the guys suss out what to make of it all. Ask Barry Davis talks Shapiro and Atkins and high performance training. Hot takes abound. Raj and Barry talk blisters in the medical room. The results of the fair or foul poll are revealed. All that and more!
