The Daily Dog is your home for Underdog picks for Tuesday. Each day host Britton Hess gives you his favorite Underdog plays for MLB, tennis, UFC, NFL and more! Subscribe for your Daily Dog! Today's show features Underdog Picks for Tuesday in Major League Baseball and the Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament. The first targets up-and down Canadian tennis star, Felix Auger-Aliassime against Thannasis Kokkinakis. Will FAA lose a set? Will he lose the match? I have thoughts and an Underdog pick to kick off the slip in the AM. Next I go back to the well, fading the White Sox hitters and making an Underdog Pick on a right handed pitcher facing the worst team in baseball, Carlos Carrasco. Carrasco is old, but he isn't done, and versus this lineup he has a chance to excel. Lastly, I make a pick regarding a show favorite, Otto Lopez of the Miami Marlins. His total bases number is 0.5 vs Kutter Crawford and the Boston Red Sox... I think you know where this is going... These three plays together yield a 3.15x return on your money. The Daily Do(n)g list features some big names on the second day of July. Jose Ramirez has been heating up and is facing a pitcher with home run woes in Chris Flexen. Byron Buxton is seeing it well, and Salvador Perez is playing in a HOT game with 15mph wins gusting out. This flex play yields 33x if all three plays hit, 5.5x if it goes two for three! Locked On Giants – Daily Podcast On The San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants have had a busy and productive offseason, even if the focus is on who they did not sign, and that those top two targets—Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto—ended up on the Dodgers. The SF Giants have signed Jung Hoo Lee, Jordan Hicks, Jorge Soler (pending a physical which takes place today, per Susan Slusser of the SF Chronicle), and Tom Murphy. They've traded for Robbie Ray, who's rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, and traded away underperforming players such as Mitch Haniger, Anthony DeSclafani, and Ross Stripling.Yet despite all this business and productivity, it's hard to shake the feeling that the Giants are one big piece or two away from being legitimate contenders. Luckily, however, it's February 16th and there are still four top free agents on the market. And there's no reason to believe the Giants are done just yet, unless they come out and say something to that effect once their deal with Soler is finalized.Pairing Blake Snell at the top of the rotation with Logan Webb is so tantalizing. The duo finished first and second, respectively, in NL Cy Young voting this past season. Adding a Matt Chapman to solidify third base is also intriguing. Both Snell and Chapman have played for new Giants manager Bob Melvin and seem like obvious fits. In other news, the SF Giants' (non-related) trade acquisition of Otto Lopez is discussed.Find and follow Locked On Giants on your favorite podcast platforms:

We profile boyfriends from Toronto and St. Louis, detail the shake up in the Os quality hair above replacement (qHAR), and share first day fun with the pitch clock. Alejandro “Captain” Kirk is still a Spring Training no-show for all the right reasons, and is Pottymouth's TOR bf for this season. Patti selects TOR trilingual utility player Otto Lopez because baseball is the universal language. On the Cards side of things, Pottymouth picks Pujols mentee Juan Yepez while Patti chooses the fast-tracked big bat of Alec “Burly” Burleson. Patti tries to bring the calm regarding the new pitch clock rules – it's day one, friends, take a breath! In labor news, Tony Clark draws a line in the sand over salary caps while San Diego and Pittsburgh show opposite ends of small-market spending. Manny gets his extension, Bobby sends a home run right to the gut, and we enjoy MLB's school picture day.We say “designated driver of the podcast,” “Usually i'm very pro-dark lord,” and “I ride Bus 4.” Get boosted, fight the man, send your game balls to Meredith, and find us on Twitter @ncibpodcast, on Facebook @nocryinginbball, Instagram @nocryinginbball and on the Interweb at nocryinginbball.com. This week we recap the best Blue Jays stretch where they went 7 and 1 (including a sweep of the Braves). We talk about the admiral job this piece meal pitching staff has done and the improved hitting approach of much of the hitters have taken. We talk about Pillar getting hit in the face (OUCH!!). We discuss the unwritten rules, and how some are plain silly. No-hitters, they seem to be a weekly occurrence. FYI, we recorded while Kluber was in the middle of one, so we'll talk about it next week. We'll also talk about prospect infielder Otto Lopez.

Welcome back to Radio Scouts Podcast. Thanks to a multitude of Blue Jays moves on Tuesday, we have so much to get into, so let's not waste another minute.(0:00) Intro(0:13) THE DECISION! We announce the verdict on the Darrell Dynasty League trade that Mike and Andrew discussed at the end of the show last week: Carlos Correa for Bo Bichette, Nate Pearson, and Touki Toussaint.(2:43) Kevin Pillar OUT; shipped out of town for some stuff: RP Derek Law, 2B/OF Alen Hanson, and SP prospect, Juan De Paula. We also briefly touch on the Kendrys Morales trade, which broke after we wrapped recording last week.(6:47) Anthony Alford IN; recalled from AAA Buffalo. What's the plan with him? We discuss this.(8:53) Randal Grichuk inks a 5-year/$52M extension with the Jays. We agree collectively that the potential is there for some pretty good value, though this deal is not devoid of risk. We also speculate if this extension is a direct response to the seemingly evident shift in the contractual landscape of Major League Baseball, and who might be the next player to be extended.(20:13) Socrates Brito (80-grade name) acquired shortly after the Pillar trade broke. Flipped for minor leaguer, Rodrigo Orozco.(20:52) Bud Norris released from his minor-league deal(21:13) How have the Blue Jays looked through the first 6 games of the season? We offer our thoughts, while not reading much into such a small sample size. What should we expect out of this team this season? Rotation talk (Matt Shoemaker, Trent Thornton)Brandon Drury(29:08) Vlad is healthy again and back to playing baseball. How long does he spend in the minors before getting the inevitable call to the bigs?(30:32) Notable minor league assignments ('A' Lansing: Eric Pardinho, Jordan Groshans, Josh Winckowski, Otto Lopez, Alejandro Kirk, Mc Gregory Contreras; 'A+' Dunedin: Nate Pearson - probably not long for High-A).(32:43) Totally appropriate and necessary banter(35:28) Parting thoughts on the Kevin Pillar trade(38:35) OutroAs always, thanks for listening.Follow us on Twitter!Recording date: Apr. 2, 2019Intro/outro music:Track: Disfigure - Blank [NCS Release]Music provided by NoCopyrightSoundsWatch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7ZsBPK656sFree Download/stream: http://ncs.io/blankSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/radioscouts)
