Canadian singer songwriter Sam Drysdale joins the DTP to go behind his new EP 'Testarossa'!   The inspiration for Testarossa comes from the Italian word for “redhead” aptly named after the chic 12-cylinder, mid-engine sports car manufactured by Enzo Ferrari between 1984-1996. It represents the next step in the speedy evolution of a talent that is gearing up to be at the forefront of pop music!   We dive behind tracks like ‘Dream About a Girl', a mid-tempo ballad where Drysdale uses his arresting tenor to weave a netherworld between reverie and reality, as well as the latest single ‘Nothing On You' and it's incredible music video that features a beautiful dance routine highlighted in black & white. She also discussed how she knew this book was just the first in a trilogy, as well as the book's exploration of gender identity.  * Charlie Jane talked about the worldbuilding that went into "Victories Greater than Death," the challenges of writing the forthcoming second book in the series, and the possibility of returning to this world for other books. * Charlie Jane shared the future of her popular San Francisco reading series, Writers with Drinks.   Listen here or on: iTunes | Stitcher | Spotify | Google | TuneIn | Amazon | Player FM | Deezer Watch on YouTube   Links www.charliejaneanders.com www.facebook.com/charliejane www.instagram.com/charliejaneanders/

"Being a writer doesn't have to mean you have a cool haircut and live in Brooklyn and go to fancy literary parties. It can mean that you're just someone who enjoys making up stories ... you don't even have to publish them." – Charlie Jane Anders Charlie Jane's novel Victories Greater Than Death – the first book in a new young-adult trilogy, April, 2021 – and 2019's Locus Award winner The City in the Middle of the Night – named one of the year's best books by the Guardian and others and optioned for TV by Sony. Her 2016 novel, All the Birds in the Sky, was #5 on Time Magazine's list of the year's 10 best novels, and won the Nebula, Locus and Crawford awards. Her latest is Never Say You Can't Survive, a book about how to use creative writing to get through hard times. Entouziazm do muzyki dalej istnieje, i jak najbardziej. Przez pól godziny badzie z nami, ja i zespól Trupa Trupa. Zdjecie Rafal Wojczal. reddit r/TranceTrancit Weekly Guest Mix Podcast #35Welcome everyone to Episode 35! We hear this week from Colourise with a superb extended mix. Here's what Colourise had to say...Initially I thought about releasing a Deep-Progressive House mix with a euphoric, almost Trance-y twist, but after a small discussion with one of the moderators a while back and some honest thinking, I decided to shelve the idea (some tracks, however, made the final cut below I'm positive the r/trance members would still enjoy). Instead, I placed effort creating an energetic, demanding, uplifting Trance mix which I'm quite happy I ended up making! Oh, and I hope you won't mind that tonight you'll be coasting from a lowly 123 bpm as well as raving to an intense 143 mini session near the end. Plus, there's one special track that just begs raising its bpm. ;) I won't speak much now so I'll let these next two hours do the talking.Thank you for having me this week as your guest, r/Trance, and it's been such a pleasure creating a mix for you. Until next time. :)- JC01 / 0:00:00Martin Roth - Deep Style02 / 0:05:58Andrew Bayer, Matt Lange, Kerry Leva - In and Out of Phase03 / 0:11:38Rex Mundi - Bella Monaco04 / 0:18:00Solid Stone - Refresh (Sunrise)05 / 0:23:28Andrew Bayer - From the Earth (Breakfast)06 / 0:30:12Giuseppe Ottaviani, Amba Shepherd - Lost for Words (OnAir)07 / 0:35:03Tritonal, Jeza - I Can Breathe (Nitrous Oxide)08 / 0:40:40Velvetine - The Great Divide (Soundprank dub)09 / 0:45:11Senadee - Life Support Machine (Bissen)10 / 0:50:00Solis - True to Me (Suncatcher)11 / 0:56:24Will Atkinson pres.
