In this episode of The Earth Keepers podcast, I'm welcoming my friend and healer Shae House. Shae House discussed her spiritual journey, starting in 2018, and her transition from portrait painting to crystal healing and land work. She attended a workshop with medium Bonnie McCluskey, which sparked her interest in trusting spiritual messages. Shae's experiences with nature and crystals led her to study with Amy, validating her work. She highlighted her connection with the White River and the importance of water in her practice. Shae also shared her plans for creating pilgrimages to Arkansas's sacred sites and her affinity for crystals, emphasizing the validation and learning she gained from Earth Tenders Academy.

In this episode of The Earth Keepers podcast, I'm welcoming my friend and healer Velvet Phillips-Sullivan. Back in 2020, I shared a video of the two of us chatting with members of the Earth Tenders Academy about a map she had been working on of Cities of Light across the United States. This map tends to be very activating for many of us who have worked with it and has unintentionally guided much of my spiritual journey over the past five years since she first showed it to me.  

In this episode of The Earth Keepers podcast, I'm celebrating the five-year anniversary of the Earth Tenders Academy, an online program I created to help others connect with the Spirits of the Land and the healing energies of the Earth.

You may have noticed that my entire life was turned upside down over the past year. I separated and then divorced after over 20 years with my husband, bought an RV and traveled the country over the winter trying to figure out what to do next. I ultimately landed in northwest Arkansas and am more or less starting my entire life over. In this episode, I explain a bit about what happened, where I've been, and what's coming next. Here's what you'll hear in this episode: How I relocated from my "forever home" in Montana to a rental in northwest Arkansas. An update on my personal life and the significant changes I've experienced. Ke'oni Hanalei is the founder of Pohala Fern Medicine. If you follow Ke'oni on Instagram, you have likely encountered his near daily Ferncasts where he shares the teachings and medicine of the Hawaiian ferns, intertwined with the indigenous knowledge of the Hawaiian islands. His clear transmissions and joyful nature are always a pleasure in my feed, inviting us all to deeply participate in the creation of our lives and our co-creation with this planet. Ke'oni offers the medicine of the ferns through the medicinal oils he creates through careful harvest, distillation, extraction and ceremony. And let me tell you, his offerings are potent and powerful.  We recorded this conversation back in mid-July, prior to the devastating wildfires on Maui, where Ke'oni lives. He has since been a vocal and active participant in calling for the repair and restoration of Moku'ula - the original seat of energetic power in Lahaina on Maui.  This location is an incredibly important axis mundi, or energetic distributor, in the earth's grids and the inner-earth waters, and the energy was disrupted through the colonization of the islands. Aislinn Kerchaert is an Initiated Kontomble Voice Diviner. The Kontomble are known as the little people from the Dagara Tribe in Burkina Faso. Kari Allison, who does healing work with light language, to the show to discuss where exactly humanity is headed and how we can collectively create the future we'd like to see and how animals are assisting in creating new realities on the earth and creating where it is. Sarah Thomas believes that the stones of the Earth can show us the way to the next Golden Age. We kickoff Season 3 of The Earth Keepers podcast with an excommunication from the mormon church. In this season, I'll be taking us on a journey to explore what happens when an entire society of people lose their connection to the only land they've ever known. And I'll be exploring this question by following just one branch of my family tree back through the Mormon Pioneer days in Utah and Idaho and then back to my ancestors who left Sweden for America. In this first episode, I set the stage for our journey and share my family's more recent personal connection to the Mormon church, which includes an excommunication. We talk about how my Mormon ancestors came to me in a shamanic journey to ask for help, what happens in the Mormon temple during the endowment ceremony, and why the Mormons baptize their dead relatives. You'll also hear from my friend, shamanic healer and ex-Mormon Katrina Whitney about her experiences growing up in the church and how she ended up on her current spiritual journey where she now helps empower others to become their own healers. In last week's episode, we talked about how plants weren't just important as food, medicine, and shelter to our ancient ancestors, but they were a key part of the entire religious experience in people's lives. Today, I have an amazing guest who's dedicated her life to researching and sharing the hidden, and largely suppressed stories about women's spiritual lives in ancient times. Author and researcher, Max Dashu, founded the Suppressed Histories Archives in 1970 to research and document global women's history. I recently read her book called witches and pagans, women in European folk culture 700 to 1100.
