Episode Notes Did you know you can support my podcast for as little as $1 a month? You can do that by heading over to my Patreon HERE!! My guest this week is Eli West. Eli West is an American Roots musician from the Pacific Northwest. A multi-instrumental creator of sonic spaces, Eli's former training as a designer informs a sound that is lush and organic – neither manicured nor overgrown. Evergreen timbres weave among pitches, rhythms and lyrics to become comfortable rooms into which listeners are invited. Lauded by Tim O'brien as a musician “making music the World needs,” Eli's reputation as a crafter of considered, toneful environments has fostered collaborations with Bill Frisell, Andrew Marlin, John Reishchman, Julie Fowlis, and many other pillars of the growing Americana movement. Eli has a brand new album coming out July 11th called “The Shape of a Sway” which you can pre-order at this link HERE! Also be sure to follow Eli at his website where you can find out more about him. The Phoenix Pham spring into action as Eli West calls for the fall of the Chancellorship. With mayhem breaking loose in the concourse the first task for our heroes is to get the civilians clear of the danger and then to secure the media tower nearby. What obstacles will our heroes face in these first few moments of chaos? How will the organized forces of the Orphans of the Orchid and Acolytes of the End fair against those loyal to the Chancellorship? And is anyone else a little nervous about where that tank's cannon is pointed?
Burt Binder is an actor, writer, and first-time director who grew up in the heart of Santa Monica, CA. He is known for The Comedy Store (2020), Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute (2022), and Stolen Season (2020). Michael Coleman is working on a novel that will make or break his career. Halfway through, he completely loses the plot and comes down with a devastating case of “Writer's Block.” At his lowest point, the main character from his novel, an outlaw named Eli West, leaps out of the novel and throws a wrench into Michael's life. As if that's not bad enough, the villain, a crooked sheriff named Morgan Ambrose, follows in quick pursuit. In March of 2023, the film was awarded “Best Independent Feature” at the IFS Los Angeles Film Festival. Want to watch: YouTube Meisterkhan Pod (Please Subscribe)
