Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 41 "Each of the differing groups agree on and acknowledge the fact that Hadrat Mu'aawiyah (ra) was not equally entitled to the position of Caliph as Hadrat Alee (ra) was and that he could not possibly be the Caliph as Long as it was possible for Hadrat Alee (ra) to take this position. This is because Hadrat Alee's (ra) merit, knowledge, piety, courage and other virtues were apparent and well-known amongst them, just as the case with his brothers, Hadrat Aboo Bakr (ra), Hadrat Umar (ra) and Hadrat Uthmaan (ra)." (Majmoo Fatawaa).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 37 The Battle of Siffeen Hafiz Ibn Kathir (rah) had related, Some of the men who had been present at Badr stayed in their dwellings after the murder of Hadrat Uthmaan (ra) and never left until they went to their graves. (Al Bidaayah) Ash-Sha`bee (rah) had related, "Only a few Companions were present at the Battle of the Camel Hadrat Alee (ra), Hadrat Am'maar (ra), Hadrat Talha (ra) and Hadrat Zubayr (ra) (Ibn Abi Shaihbah). Abdullah ibn Ahmad (rah) related from his father Imam Ahmad (rah) who related from Ismaa'eel ibn Aaliyah (rah) who related from Ay'yoob as- Sakthtiyaanee (rah) who related from Muhammad ibn Seereen (rah), "When the Fitnah arose, the Glorious Companions numbered in there tens of thousands - yet less than a mere hundred got involved indeed their number was barely thirty." (Ahmad - Musnad "This Chain is one of the soundest Chains on the face of the earth and Muhammad ibn Seereen [rah] is one of the most pious people in his speech and his reports are the soundest). Alee (ra) stared "How smart was the stance taken by Sa'ad ibn Maalik (ra) and Abdullah ibn Umar (ra) for if it is correct, the reward will be great and if wrong then the consequence will not be serious." (Al-Haithami Majma Az-zawaa'id). "The Messenger ﷺ said to Am'maar (ra) whilst digging the ditch, as he ﷺ began to pass his hand over his head - in love and affection. "What a trouble to the son of Sumayyah (raa)! A rebellious party will kill you!" (Muslim).

Session 36 The Prophecy of the Reign of Imam Mu'aawiyah (ra) When the sword is placed in my Ummah it will then not be withdrawn till lhe Last Hour (Tirmidhi). A rebellious group (ie the Khwaarij) will emerge at a time of dissent amongst the Muslims, and it will be destroved by the closer of the two groups to the Truth, (Muslim). Imam Nawawee (rah) commented, "This is a declaration that both parties are Believers and fighting each other does not cancel their Faith - and, indeed, they should not (even) be called impious" (Sharh Saheeh Muslim). Hadrat Alee (ra) said of Hadrat Mu'aawiyah (ra) (on his return from the Battle of Siffeen), "O People! Do not disapprove of Mu'aawiyah(ra) Governorship, for verily if you lose (then) you will witness heads falling from their shoulders just as the fruits of the wild gourd tree breaks and falls down (Al Bidayya). An affair lingering day and night will not come to an end until Mu'aawiyah (ra) is at the helm of the State (Daylamee). "O Allah (SWT)! Make him (Mu'aawiyah ra) a guide, Mahdiyan - one guided, and guide (others) through him (Tirmidhi). Indeed, it is only the Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaah alone who are pleased with both parties, Alee & Moawiah (raa).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 10 Free will & Destiny. Many folk may fall into a trap in believing that 'my path and fate is thus sealed- hence my Lord has been unjust.' In a report, Abu Musa (ra) advises, 'Allah SWT will not be unjust to you,' view Surah 18:49. Do not suspect Allah SWT with respect to His Decree (Ahmad). Umar (ra) asks O Messenger ﷺ, is it a matter that has already been ordained or is it a matter that will be ordained as we go ? It is a matter already ordained! Why should we then exert? The Good cannot be obtained except by working! We will then exert our best O Messenger ﷺ (Ahmad). Belief in destiny removes grief & worry (Haakim). I recognise Allah SWT by the annulment of determinations, Alee (ra) (Al Fiqh Al Akbar).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 5 The Excellence of 'Thani Ihtnain' - The Second of The Two' Surah 9 v40 - Abu Bakr (ra) Thani Afnayn sacrifices himself for his dear friend ﷺ (Abo Ya'la). It's incumbent for my Ummah to Love & Thank Abu Bakr (ra) (Ibn Assakir). Later in life, Alee (ra) during a sermon states that only Abu Bakr (ra) dare to challenge the pagan Quraysh whilst defending The Messenger ﷺ.

Hadrat Abu Zharr (ra). Session 33 The Ascetic  Controlling Anger The Messenger ﷺ addresses Alee (ra) 'Salawaatul'laahu'alyah.'  Avoid a matter that would require an apology (Daylamee). "...who restrain their anger and pardon mankind, indeed Allah SWT loves those of excellence" Surah 3:134. Get into the habit of Restraining your anger and Paradise will be yours (Tabarani).

Hadrat Abu Zharr (ra). Session 15 The Ascetic  The Messenger ﷺ is commanded to Love 4... Alee is one of them [stated thrice] Abu Zharr Miqdaad Salmaan (raa) (Tirmidhi). Allah SWT defends Salmaan, Abu Zharr & others (raa) in Surah 18 v27-28 (Abu Nu'aym). The tremendous rank of these Companions, the awesome praise of their daily worship & the sincerity of their worship!

Hadrat Abu Zharr, Al Ghafari (ra). Session 12 The Ascetic  The Dream of Wahb ibn Munabbih (rah) The Bulalaa [the saintly souls who succeed on another]... Muhammad ibn Wasi, Hassan ibn Abee Sinaan & Malik ibn Deenar (rah), the latter walk amongst the people just like Abu Zharr (ra) during his time (Ahmad). Fudhayl ibn Iyaad (rah), Allah SWT has placed all evil in one dwelling and made the love of the world its key. Similarly, Allah SWT placed all the good in one dwelling and made abstinence from the world its key (Risaalah/ Ihya). Hasan ibn Alee (ra),The least thing of this world is sufficient whilst the whole of it does not enrich (Kanzul Ummaal).

Hadrat Abu Dharr (ra). Session 7 The Ascetic  A Quarter of Islam Reconciling 2 reports. Abu Dharr (ra) is a quarter of Islam (Baihaqi). That is, he was the 4th free male adult to embrace the faith, preceded by Abo Bakr, Alee & Zayd ibn Harith (raa). Abu Dharr (ra) returned to his tribe and stayed there until Badr, Uhud and the Trench had passed (16-17 years), he thereupon moved to Al Madeenah (Ibn Al-Jawzee).

Hadrat Zayd ibn Thaabit (ra), Session 31 The Scribe of The Quran The Reign of Alee (ra) When the sword is placed in my Ummah it will not be withdrawn till the Last Hour (Tirmidhi). The group nearer to the Truth, which means both were following the Truth be it so, one more than the other. Zayd (ra) never took part in the campaigns during the fitnah (Al Istee'aab).

Hadrat Zayd ibn Thaabit (ra), Session 26 The Scribe of The Quran Verily we have sent down to you The Remembrance and verily we will guard it from corruption, Surah 15 v9. The elect amongst you are those who learn the Quran & teach it (Bukhari). Alee (ra), May Allah SWT have mercy on Abu Bakr (ra) he was the first to gather what is between the 2 tablets of The Quran (Ibn Abee Shahbah). Abu Bakr (ra) has the greatest reward for he was the first to compile The Quran (Abu Ya'laa). Look for sweetness in 3  In Salaah, the recitation of the Quran & the Zikir of Allah SWT. If you find it, rejoice, if not the door of goodness is locked and strive earnestly to open it (Ibn Al Jawzee rah). Zayd (ra) was 24 when Umar (ra) reigned as Caliph. When Umar (ra) travelled, Zayd (ra) was appointed as deputy in Al Medina. Zayd (ra) passed verdicts in Al Medina and for matters outside of the Holy City (Ibn Sa'ad).

Noah West and Alee are both solo Country Singers/Songwriters base in Nashville. Alee is a 3x CCMA Female Artist of the Year winner who released her third solo album, "Love, Again" earlier this year (2024). Noah is making his 4th appearance on the show and has released two new singles "Almost Heaven" and "If it Was Easy." We sat down with the two Country stars live in Nashville to talk about the writing process, performing on the road, relationships and the meaning behind their lyrics.

Hadrat Zayd ibn Thaabit (ra), Session 23 The Scribe of The Quran Abu Bakr (ra) takes the high post. The Quraysh are the Successors & The Ansaar are the advisors. Alee (ra) The Messenger ﷺ instructed Abu Bakr (ra) to lead the prayer whilst I was available and healthy. Alee (ra), None should say that I am more deserving of the rule than Abu Bakr (ra).

Hadrat Zayd ibn Thaabit (ra), Session 20 The Scribe of The Quran The Hour of Distress, Surah 9 v117. Zayd (ra) participates at Uhud and is given an Egyptian garment, at the time he was 15 and The Messenger ﷺ said, what an excellent youngster. The standard is given to Zayd (ra) as he has knowledge of The Quran. The jurits are 4, Umar, Alee, Zayd ibn Thabit And ibn Masood (raa). 6 give verdicts Umar, Alee, ibn Masood, Zayd, Ubayy & Abu Moosa (raa).  Zayd (ra) surpassed the people in 2 areas, The laws of Inheritance and in The Quran.

Hadrat Zayd ibn Thaabit (ra), Session 13 The Scribe of The Quran The Master of Inheritance The most Compassionate of my Ummah, Abu Bakr (ra) The firmest in Commands, Umar (ra) The most true in modesty, Uthmaan (ra) The best in reciting the Book, Ubayy ibn Kaab (ra) The most knowledgeable in inheritance laws, Zayd ibn Thabit (ra) The most knowledge in the halal & Harram is Mu'adh ibn Jabal (ra) The trustworthy of this ummah, Abu Obaydah ibn Al Jar'rah (ra) (Nasaee). The best judge is Alee (ra) (Tirmidhi). After The Battle of Yamama, Abu Bakr orders Zayd (raa) to distribute estates, Zayd (ra) only distributed amongst the surviving relatives.
