PREMIERE: Rafa'EL - Lighthearter (Original Mix) [UNIVACK] Rafa'EL Absence EP Remixes by Betoko & Golan Zocher UV074 Polish dj & music producer Rafa'EL (Movements, Afterglow, Particles) presents ABSENCE, his first EP on Univack, with 3 amazing original mixes and 2 stunnig remixes by Betoko & Golan Zocher. A perfect combination where each track offers a unique trip with diferent landscapes. The EP starts with 'Absence', an eclectic downtempo & electronica track, with a perfect harmony between its many complex elements. Slow beak beats, cinematic sounds, magic vocal and chords, and a main arpeggiated synth which will make you fly. The second original track by Rafa'EL titled 'Lighthearter' is a deep progressive house track which makes us dance with our mind and our body, across a magic universe mainly drived by a soulful synth... Perfect for a sunset! The third original titled 'Yellow Doors' -with its beauty groove, and awesome leads, chords and pads- is probably the most oriented to the dancefloor track that Rafa'EL has in this release. The mexican based in London Betoko(OKO, Diynamic, Katermukke) gets a perfect club version of 'Absence', using the main original synths, and including his own elements to closed an awesome progressive and melodic house track. The Colombian based in Israel Golan Zocher (The Soundgarden, Proton, Mango Alley) makes his own vision of 'Lighthearter', a bit more clubbing, also deep, and with a perfect lineal progression, only broken by a memorable breakdown. Maybe this Absence EP is one the most wonderful releases that Univack has edited this year. Stefano Lotti is a contemporary DJ, Producer, Remixer, Audio Engineer and Label Manager. The love for electronic music hit him in his early youth: he first developed a strong interest in Techno Music back in the days when it wasn't enormously popular as it is today. In 2002 he successfully launched his career as a producer, releasing his first tracks. A few years later he moved to Milan where he built his own studio. In 2008 he started his own label “Rubber Band” releasing Techno tracks. He worked with other highly infuential artists and he exported his concept of Techno music in Japanese and European clubs. Stefano has collaborated with several other underground international labels ( such as Sleaze Recordings, Suara, Phobiq ) and he released numerous tracks under his aliases. Also he has remixed tracks from celebrated artists like Ilario Alicante, Mihalis Safras, Anderson Noise, Frankyeffe, Andrea Ferlin and Yone-Ko. He contributed to the growth of acclaimed labels like Ribbon Recordings and Equilibrium Lab and he worked as mixing engineer on several electronic music tracks. Last year he co-founded Follow The Flow: a multimedia project focused on Electronic Music ( techno/drone ) and Nature ( Botanic, Entomology, Ethnobotanic, etc. ). Currently he resides in Japan. D Edge resident and Brazilian Electronic Music Legend Anderson Noise has teamed up with the latest emerging artist to come from South America - Sugar Hill - to release their debut WCF three track release. 'Voodoo' kicks off with well rounded, hypnotic drums which steadily roll into tribal-tinged percussion, which blend with an indecipherable, trippy vocal before developing into a cacophony of analogue layers - an instant injection of energy ignites to set any dance floor alight.

DJ Anna is one of Brazil’s finest musical exports, now recognised as one of the most exciting female tech-house/techno DJs and producers of our era. With a career spanning over 15 years, DJ Anna’s presence and ability behind the decks is truly infectious, "igniting the dancefloor and creating energy that captivates everywhere she plays". Since moving to Europe in 2008 she's taken to the road and played in territories such as Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic and more. That's not to say, she hasn't been busy in the studio. Having released music on labels such as Christian Smith’s Tronic, Kraftek, Witty Tunes, Bla Bla and Toolroom Records - she's a producer in high demand. On remix duties, she's also worked with the likes of Pleasurekraft, Baher & Fulltone, Victor Ruiz & Alex Stein, D-Nox & Beckers, The Scumfrog, Oliver Klein & Ramon Tapia, Anderson Noise and Filthy Rich. And this weekend (01 February), she's in India. The hour long mix on hand finds Anna straddling the line between techno and tech-house in the form of a steady stream of bouncy, big-room-ready selections. Beyond that, it's also a demonstration of Anna's ability to strike a balance between underground jams and more polished, tech-house-flavored fare. An artist who can remain effective while dipping into multiple regions of the dance-music sphere; more impressively, she can do so without simply relying on each subgenre's biggest tunes and using remixes of classic dance tracks from era's long gone. Pioneer "is one that first opens or discover paths through unknown regions." The career of DJ and producer Anderson Noise is a pioneer in electronic music from Brazil. Born in Belo Horizonte, Noise started slowly, as is the custom in his region, but never stopped to take some steps toward success. In 1988, during the explosion of Acid House, started DJing in his hometown. Passionate about the profession, he often said that the role of DJ is move people. Followed by producing their own events from 1992, making room in the state capital for the proliferation of the electronic scene, still embryonic in place. There were more than 40 parties produced, many in places like mental hospitals, shopping malls, car dealerships and historic buildings. The "Noise Family" became an institution, since in the event not only Anderson was involved. Mamma Noise, the mother of the DJ in person, was the hostess of the parties. Later Alvinho L Noise was excited with the turntables and boiled the dance floor next to his brother. His first CD compilation, "Paralisia Cerebral"was released in 1996, while the dream of producing his own music became reality in the talented hands of Noise. In 1997 he was invited to include "Shantytown" in the "Electronic Music Brazil" the first CD of 100% national of the genre, released by Sony-Mercado Mundo Mix. Without fear of expanding his horizons, Noise promoted the first trio elétrico "Truck with a mobile sound system" with electronic music in 1999 in Carnabelô Carnival out of season Mineiro, and became mandatory attendance in subsequent years. Without knowing it, acquiring the experience to face an even greater challenge playing on electric trio of singer Daniela Mercury, during Carnival in Salvador in 2002. The DJ stand for something besides records, awards, won in 97 "Distinction Underground" by the magazine "DJ Sound." " In 2001 he became a resident of the night Headstart at Turnmills club in London, integrating a select group of Brazilian DJs that arose in the pool. While playing outside of Brazil shared the stage with great international names who came to the country. One is impressed with the quality of mining and DJ led out into the world. Carl Cox, one of the best DJs in the world, was impressed with the strength of Anderson Noise the first time they played in Brazil: "Anderson is very talented. He played with me a few times before, sometimes after. He also has his own label, Noise Music. They're good - too good to ignore. "In the 2001 copy of the" 2001 TOP 100 DJ Mag ", Cox classified Anderson as the future" DJ Hero. " His third CD compilation came out in 2002 to please the Brazilian public. The career of DJ and producer Anderson Noise is a pioneer in electronic music from Brazil. Always interested in arts, he decided to get into music in 2006, when he bought on-purpose software and created an art studio in his apartment where he also shows some of his works like sceneries and comics in indian ink. His tracks were mainly conceived for live performances, but later his contacts with some net labels brought in ideas for new projects. He started with an initial sound deep- tech, later enriched by funky and minimal influences. His debut as composer was in January 2007 on a new net label from Milan, ExM records, with his very first work Japanese Airone. During that year he has collaborated also with Minisketch and Uvdog releasing digital tracks. In December 2008 he published his first vinyl Ep on Mosaiko Musik called CLB, played by Jeff Samuel and Anderson Noise who putted it in a released mix for the compilation by La Terraza Bcn (Circle Music). His second vinyl was for him the turning point. The Gosh! Ep released on June 2008 has been putted in most important tracklist played around the world as Richie Hawtin’s. During the summer time he took a period in wich he started to study other subgenres of electronic music as dub, housy, deep and jazzy thinking about his next projects as FU8 Ensamble and Ragga Fonda. As this new nick he published on Mosaiko Limited in September 2008 a new 12” called “Memories” Ep featuring a brazilian vocalist Luisa De Abreu. At the present he is working for Mutekki Media, Metroline Ltd, Welt Sounds and Kina Music.
