Jake also shares his thoughts on the Indiana Pacers losing game one to the Milwaukee Bucks. He also brings up a conversation about Tyrese Haliburton that he believes need to be had. (27:30-41:48) – If the first segment of the show, Jake teased two reasons why he thinks the Indiana Pacers will defeat the Milwaukee Bucks in the series. Jimmy reacts to his reasonings. One of them is the obvious when it comes to playoff struggles for a particular person associated with Milwaukee. (41:48-47:45) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy discussing the Village People after coming back from break with Macho Man. (47:45-1:21:44) – ESPN.com's Stephen Holder makes his weekly visit on the program to share his takeaways from his conversation with Colts Owner Jim Irsay, if he believes if Irsay will be able to speak at all following the draft on a conference call or Zoom, states that it is very unlikely Chris Ballard trades up because he covets more picks and not less picks, doesn't believe that people should discount Ballard's comments last week about the cornerbacks currently on the roster, examines the likelihood that the Colts select Brock Bowers if he is available for them with the fifteenth pick, and assesses which side of the ball has more players selected in the draft. (1:21:44-1:29:09) – Jake comes back from break by revealing the things he will propose and make happen if he runs for mayor. Additionally, Jake has come up with a campaign slogan that he is going to trademark so nobody else can steal it. (1:38:13-2:00:10) – JP Shadrick from Jaguars.com joins Query & Company to assess how the offseason has gone for the Jaguars, previews what they need to address in the NFL Draft on Thursday in the first and second rounds, if he believes they need to add a true number one wide receiver to the mix, provides his opinion on where the Colts stack up in the division, and shares his opinion on whether Jacksonville will use the national love for Houston as a motivation to prove they are still one of the best teams in the AFC South after a disappointing season. (2:03:47-2:15:31) – Jeremiah Johnson from Bally Sports Indiana joins the program to preview game two tonight between the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers, states that he expects Tyrese Haliburton to be aggressive in the first quarter and the Pacers to be physical with Damian Lillard defensively, when he expects to see Giannis back on the floor based off of what he's heard from the Bucks, and reveals if he's visited anywhere or purchased anything exclusive to Milwaukee. (2:15:31-2:20:56) – Today's show ends with Jimmy sharing his JCook Plays of the Day, Eddie a couple bets he likes, and JMV joining the guys in studio to share his thoughts on game two tonight!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

(00:00-24:03) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jimmy Cook and James Boyd filling in for Jake Query by recapping the disappointing performance by the Indiana Pacers against the Milwaukee Bucks. They get into the Rick Carlisle rotations briefly, Tyrese Haliburton's lack of aggressiveness offensively, and how some players looked like they were nervous in their first playoff performance. (24:03-43:53) – The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Jim Owczarski joins Query & Company to give his perspective on the game one dominating win for the Bucks, agrees with Jimmy that people forget how good Khris Middleton has been for Milwaukee in the playoffs, explains how the Bucks defense has improved since the last time the two teams faced off, provides an update on where Giannis is at right now with his calf strain, and if the Bucks would consider resting Giannis a little longer if they take a 2-0 advantage in the series. (43:53-50:11) – Hour one concludes with Jimmy, James, and Eddie sharing what they would do with the Pacers rotation moving forward after Rick Carlisle's rotations received a lot of questioning last night. (50:11-1:17:27) – The IndyStar's Dustin Dopirak joins the program to share his thoughts on how the Indiana Pacers performed last night against the Milwaukee Bucks, states that he thinks they really settled in the second half and expects them to play their brand of basketball in game two, assesses if the team is looking at last night's loss as a missed opportunity with Giannis not playing, believes that Doug McDermott might be a part of the rotation still if they're struggling to miss shots, and debates if Haliburton managing his unselfishness the way the Pacers can win the series. (1:17:27-1:33:52) – Jimmy and James return from break by providing an update on the health of Colts owner Jim Irsay courtesy of ESPN's Stephen Holder. It leads them to discuss what James thinks the Colts will do with the fifteenth pick. (1:38:13-2:03:47) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, of CBS4 and FOX59 makes his weekly visit on Query & Company with Jimmy Cook and James Boyd to share his pre-draft thoughts for the Indianapolis Colts, believes that Chris Ballard would select Brock Bowers if he was available at fifteen, states that they need to help Anthony Richardson out by getting one of the top wide receiver options early in the draft unless a player they covet more is available, reiterates that if the Colts go corner, then they need to force a pick for wide receiver in the second round, and reveals that the Peyton Manning years ruined him in terms of needing to support the quarterback with explosive players every year. (2:03:47-2:20:23) – Nubyjas Wilborn from AllTitans.com joins the show as our first AFC South reporter guest of the week to preview the NFL Draft needs for the Titans. Additionally, he examines the AFC South landscape after the offseason moves by all the teams, shares his excitement to see Michael Pittman Jr. vs L'Jarius Sneed, and explains how this is a make-or-break year for Will Levis. The Month of May is here, and it's time to get through the half way point of IndyCar's biggest month of the year. In this episode, Dre Harrison and RJ O'Connell break down both the GMR Grand Prix on the Indy Road Course, and Qualifying for this weekend's 107th Running of the Indianapolis 500. And so far, Alex Palou is one step away from doing what Simon Pagenaud did in 2019 and sweeping the entire month! He dominated the GMR Grand Prix and then broke Scott Dixon's new record of the fastest pole run in Indy 500 history, with the entire front row cracking 234mph. Is Palou the greatest #10 car driver since Dario Franchitti? And should he really be considering a McLaren switch if the 2024 rumours are true? And we swing the pendulum on a rollercoaster month for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. Christian Lundgaard had another incredible race at the road course finishing 4th, only to nearly get bumped in a disastrous qualifying session for the 500 where all of their cars were stuck in 30th or lower, and only Katherine Legge making the show automatically. Jack Harvey bumping out his own teammate, another Bump Day shock for the ages... or so we thought at the time... ...All that and some of the incredible stories that made up the grid, like RC Enerson, Callum Illot, Agustin Canapino and more mentioned in a Month of May Indianapolis special!

(00:00 - 26:43) -  A rainy Friday morning greets this morning's edition of Kevin & Query. The GMR Grand Prix is tomorrow and there is a chance of rain ruining the festivities. The Colts schedule was released yesterday, Kevin and Query run down the schedule and try to predict how the Colts will handle it this year. Indianapolis doesn't have any prime-time games this season. Is Amazon punishing the Colts for that lackluster Broncos game last season with no Thursday night games this year? The Phoenix Suns fell flat in a Game 6 elimination game at home, down by 30 points at one time. The Indiana Pacers have their first draft workout today, hosting a total of six players.  (26:45 - 31:18) - Morning Checkdown (31:19 - 43:09) - Is it pronounced GR-AND Prix, or GRAH-ND Prix? Jake breaks down where he will be sitting on the day of the race this weekend for the road course. Talk returns to the Colts schedule and what days will be best to see rookie quarterbacks from other teams, as well as when we may see Anthony Richardson. The amount of young quarterbacks that the Colts will face this year could be beneficial to the team's playoff chances.  (43:10 - 1:08:04) - The Colts technically have a prime-time game against the Philadelphia Eagles.......in the pre-season. Would you rather see the Colts make the playoffs or see them receive a Top 3 pick and select Marvin Harrison Jr? Jake recalls the story of meeting his Australian pal at a Pacer's game and now it has launced into a budding friendship. Peyton Manning appeared in the Denver Bronco's schedule release video for another year in a row. He hasn't done one with the Colts. Jake goes in deep on why Manning's relationship with Indianapolis has been fractured.  (1:08:05 - 1:27:09) - Offensive Tackle for the Indianapolis Colts, Bernhard Raimann joins the show and discusses his excitement in playing an NFL game in Germany which is within reasonable distance of his home country of Austria. Raimann talks about when, as a rookie, he felt it was possible to settle down and be a part of the team, and not "have his head on a swivel." As a rookie did he ever have his confidence rattled playing at such a high-profile position in Offensive Tackle. Jake wants some info on European countries to potentially visit. Raimann says any Colt's fan who visits Germany has to get a schnitzel. Talk leaves off with Raimann discussing how he has adapted to calling Indianapolis home for the past year.  (1:27:10 - 1:30:26) - Little bit of talk about NFL players and how they appeared in College versus what they looked like as pros. Kevin brings up Matt Ryan at Boston College as an example.   (1:30:27 - 1:59:47) - Former IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt joins the program to talk racing and the Indy500. Schmidt is also hosting the 23rd Annual Racing for Recovery event that benefits Paralysis Now. Schmidt goes into detail about his own personal recovery and journey with paralysis as well as how he has helped to open facilities across America that help people from all over deal with their disability. The Racing to Recovery Gala, hosted at the Roof Ballroom serves as an event that allows racers and race fans to take a brief break from competition and unite for a common cause. Jake briefly revisist Schmidt's appearance on the classic TV show "Press You Luck" which he managed to make three consecutive appearances on. Turning towards the 500 and the team Schmidt is involved with in Arrow-Mclaren, Schmidt hypes up his drivers, details what they have to do to win and the importance of the event. The event can be viewed online and bid on virtually as well.  (1:59:48 - 2:09:20) - Pop Quiz (2:09:21 - 2:18:51) - Wrap up on Colts schedule excitement or lack there of, and weekend plans. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

His was different than Dane Brugler's mock draft that we discussed yesterday. Brian, Jimmy, and producer Eddie Garrison all have different thoughts on how the Colts would approach next year's draft.   (43:37-47:51) – Hour one concludes with Brian and Jimmy discussing the disastrous performance of the Philadelphia 76ers in the return of Joel Embiid and how the Celtics were able to dominate with their best player being on the court for less than twenty minutes. (1:17:29-1:28:12) – Brian and Jimmy continue discussing rookie quarterbacks, but they take a broader perspective where fans immediately compare rookie quarterbacks to rookie quarterbacks instead of comparing them to quarterbacks in the entire NFL.
