Tonight, on Trackside with Curt Cavin and Kevin Lee, they talk about the release of the 2026 IndyCar schedule. The schedule consists of the loss of Thermal Club, Iowa, and Toronto, the addition of Arlington and Markham, and the return of Phoenix (in collaboration weekend with NASCAR) and a doubleheader back at Milwaukee. To start the second hour of the show, Kevin talks about Jackson Lee’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo win this past weekend at Road America, and previews the upcoming IMSA weekend at Indianapolis. Kevin later talks about the importance of having IndyCar and NASCAR together at Phoenix, and having an oval race before the Indy 500. In the penultimate segment, Kevin talks about an announcement on the new Team Penske driver tomorrow. He later answers more fan questions on possibilities for the 2027 schedule with Mexico City, Denver, Philadelphia, and New Hampshire. Kevin later compares stats between Rick Mears and Alex Palou. The IndyCar season is officially in the books, and our resident open wheeler Conor Daly brought home his best finish of the year in Nashville. He joins co-host Chase Holden to break down his captivating dash from the back of the pack to 5th place and what changes the Juncos Hollinger Team had to make after a disappointing qualifying effort earlier in the weekend. Conor explains that the key to finding his way to the front was running in clean air in the third and fourth high grooves on the speedway, higher than the other competitors. An untimely caution brought out by Scott McLaughlin temporarily slowed Conor in his tracks though, allowing his tires to cool and preventing him from a possible return to the podium. Ultimately, Conor was happy to bring the team their best effort of the season, especially in his partnership with All American Rejects.Race winner Josef Newgarden joins the show to discuss his long awaited return to victory lane after a tumultuous 2025 season. Josef says that after starting the race wrecking loose, Team Penske was able to make changes that helped the car come around in the middle of the race. Once he was in position on the last restarts of the race, he was able to battle to the lead and hold on to victory. Josef also reacts to the breaking news that Will Power will not be returning to Team Penske in 2026 and reflects on what it's been like having the all-time great as a teammate. Conor and Josef also chat about the overall emotional journey of the season, the current day difficulty of competing in IndyCar and what is to come in the future.

It is crunch time for IndyCar and NASCAR as Phil and Josh return for E278 of the GSP. The guys go over Will Power's possible last win for Team Penske at Portland while Alex Palou becomes a four-time IndyCar Champion (three consecutive titles). Phil and Josh discuss what it means for both drivers and other key storylines as the series finishes their season with a couple of oval races. On the NASCAR side, Shane Van Gisbergen opened a can on the field yet again to win his fourth race of 2025 at Watkins Glen. The Kiwi ace adds to his playoff point tally and provides himself additional cushion through the early rounds of the playoffs. His protege and future teammate Connor Zilisch did a similar feat in earning his sixth XFinity win of the season with his usual drama, but added falling off the car and fracturing his collarbone in victory lane. Other destruction took place at the hands of Hank Hill returning from a one-race suspension for right-hooking Aric Almirola. The Truck Series race was a demo derby that almost was called for darkness, but Corey Heim made Toyota Camry level fuel mileage in his Tundra for his sixth win of 2025.  Phil and Josh discuss their respective NFL teams and fantasy football as the FallBrawl draft is to take place before the GSP Roundup covers Supercars, Indy NXT, Moto 2 and NHRA.
