Breakthrough feels powerful, but what if it becomes a weekly loop that never turns into lasting change? We sit down with Prophet Bobby Wade for a prophetic, faith-filled word that challenges the church to stop living from the floor of yesterday's trauma and start living from the base of victory. He unpacks why God can meet you in brokenness without ever intending you to stay broken, and why repeated “altar moments” must produce real advancement in your mind, your habits, and your spiritual authority. We talk honestly about trauma, disappointment, and the way wounds can become enthroned until they shape identity, confession, and expectation. Bobby lays out a clear path forward through what he calls word replacement therapy: replacing the script of fear, anxiety, and defeat with the Word of God spoken daily. Along the way we pull lessons from Luke 13 and Psalm 77, showing how infirmity can bend posture, perception, and hope until a person can only look down, and how God recalibrates a forward-facing gift so you can see ahead again. The conversation also calls for a deeper level of deliverance ministry in our churches. Comfort cannot be the goal when people are living in functional bondage, because function is not freedom. We close with practical declarations you can start using today, plus a preview of Bobby's upcoming book, Why Breakthrough Is Not Enough, which we believe will reshape how many people think about healing, faith, and spiritual growth. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review so more people can find it.We love to hear from our listeners! Dave looks at Ephesians 2 and Acts 2 to explore the fundamental foundations of the Christian faith. Using a practical illustration involving loose gravel and a shed base, he explains how Christians are designed to be built together to withstand the pressures of life. The Personal Foundation (Acts 2): Dave breaks down the four essential elements of a Christian's personal foundation: Repentance (turning away from sin), Faith (trusting in Jesus), Water Baptism (the outward symbol of a changed life), and Holy Spirit Baptism (the power needed to live out our faith). What We Once Were (Ephesians 2:11-12): It is vital to remember where we came from so we remain humble. Without Christ, humanity was spiritually dead, hopeless, and completely alienated from God. What Christ Has Done (Ephesians 2:13-16): Through His blood on the cross, Jesus paid our debt and brought us near to God. He fulfilled the law and tore down the “walls of hostility” that divide people, establishing true peace. What We Are Now (Ephesians 2:19): When we trust in Jesus, our old life is history. We are no longer strangers or outsiders; we are citizens of God’s kingdom, built together as a diverse, unified church. Like individual pebbles locked into a foundation grid, we are made stronger together. The post Dave Frodsham: Strong Foundations first appeared on Jubilee Church Wirral.

Has the Church Replaced Israel in God's Plan?Apostolic Life in the 21st Century with Dr. David K. BernardIn light of ongoing global attention on the nation of Israel, many Christians are revisiting an important theological question: Has the church replaced Israel in God's plan, or does God still have a future purpose for the Jewish people? In this episode of Apostolic Life in the 21st Century, Dr. David K. Bernard offers a thoughtful, biblically grounded answer rooted in passages such as Romans 9–11 and Galatians 4. He explains that the church is the ultimate fulfillment of God's redemptive plan, with Israel playing a vital role in bringing forth the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Through Christ, God's promises are fulfilled not by ethnicity, but by faith, as both Jews and Gentiles are invited into the church through the work of the Holy Spirit. At the same time, Dr. Bernard clarifies that this truth does not mean God is finished with the nation of Israel. Scripture indicates that God still has a purpose and plan for their salvation. This episode brings biblical clarity and balance to a complex and often emotional topic. If you're seeking a scriptural perspective on Israel, the church, and God's plan of salvation, this conversation is essential listening.Visit PentecostalPublishing.com to shop Dr. Bernard's full catalog of published works. At conversion, every believer is baptized by the Spirit… sealed, assured, and brought into Christ's body. The filling of the Spirit is an ongoing, repeatable empowerment for Christlikeness and bold witness as we yield, obey, worship, pray, and live on mission. Scripture also warns us not to quench the Spirit by neglecting these means of grace or pursuing sin. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is distinct from salvation—while salvation is the Spirit working within you, the baptism is the Spirit working through you, empowering you for ministry and witness. Throughout Scripture, God's presence is consistently associated with fire that heats up cold Christianity, transforms lukewarm faith into boldness, and ignites divine appointments. Like the priests who had to add fresh wood to keep the altar fire burning, we are responsible for maintaining our spiritual fire through daily preparation and removing sin that dampens our passion. When we properly prepare ourselves, God's fire falls immediately, transforming us into effective witnesses for Christ.

Have you ever wondered what the Baptism of the Holy Spirit truly means? Join us as we journey through the Bible to bring clarity to this powerful Christian doctrine, exploring its Old Testament roots and New Testament fulfillment. In this episode, we unravel the biblical texts that define the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, from Acts of the Apostles to Paul's epistles. We'll tackle the nuances of indwelling vs. empowerment, the significance of Pentecost, and the Old Testament prophecies that foretold the New Covenant outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We'll examine:✅ The core debate: Is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit a subsequent or simultaneous experience with conversion? ✅ The classical Pentecostal position and their key proof texts from Acts, including the role of tongues and spiritual gifts. ✅ The prophetic connection between baptism with fire and God's judgment or purification. ✅ A crucial dive into 1 Corinthians 12:13, clarifying the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a salvific event that unites all believers into Christ's body. ✅ The historical context of Acts 2 and Acts 8 (Jews & Samaritans) versus Acts 10 (Gentiles) and why it matters for our understanding today. ✅ The significance of the Day of Pentecost and its powerful parallels with Old Testament events, inaugurating the New Covenant. ✅The crucial question: Is this just a semantic debate, or does it profoundly impact church unity, the gifts of the Spirit, and how we view fellow believers? (No “two-tiered Christians” here!) ✅ Our concise definition of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit from a “Radical Middle” perspective. This discussion will equip you to understand this vital theological topic with clarity, charity, and a deeper appreciation for the power of the Holy Spirit in every believer's life.0:00 Intro: Baptism of the Holy Spirit4:42 The Core Debate: Subsequent or Simultaneous?6:52 Classical Pentecostal View & Proof Texts19:39 Baptism with Fire: Judgment or Purification?32:38 Acts 2, 8 vs. Acts 10: Historical Context44:16 Pentecost & the New Covenant50:53 Semantics or Real Division?59:28 A “Radical Middle” Definition Subscribe to The Remnant Radio newsletter and receive our FREE introduction to spiritual gifts eBook. Most, if not all, Protestant churches agree on the first six Fundamental Truths we’ve already discussed; it’s when we discuss the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that the differences arise. It’s crucial to realize that for a person to acknowledge their sins and receive forgiveness, the Holy Spirit is the active agent who convicts and leads them to Jesus for forgiveness. At that moment, the Holy Spirit is welcomed into that person's life and takes residence within them. That’s the saving power of the Holy Spirit, but it’s not the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
