On this special edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Joe Everett of NFL Draft Bible and Brian Blessing of Sportsbook Radio for some 2018 NFL Draft coverage, prop betting free picks, and some tips for bettors on how to approach the first round. We relied heavily on Joe's talent evaluation and scouting background to help us figure out how teams are leaning and about the fits that teams are looking for with their first-round selections. The quarterbacks - Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Baker Mayfield, and Lamar Jackson - were big topics of conversation, along with the running backs and wide receivers. How many defensive players will go in the first round? Alabama players? Pac-12 players? SEC players? Brian Blessing helped us answer a lot of those questions with his expertise and his studies of the NFL Draft as well. This was a fantastic show and one that will be a big help for those looking to bet on the NFL Draft.

Along with general updates about the contest standings and some thoughts heading into next year, this was another solid SuperContest segment. Brent from DSI Sportsbook joined us again for this week's version of The Odds Report. Sharp money is out there in the college football and NFL betting markets and it has kept Brent busy this week. Brent from DSI Sportsbook also joined us for this week's version of The Odds Report. We're not seeing a ton of sharp money just yet in college football, which led to an interesting discussion between the guys. They talked about when to expect that kind of investment from sharps and did hit on the bowl games that have seen notable money. The NFL has been a bit busier. We had Joe Everett of NFL Draft Bible back on the show to bounce thoughts and ideas off of during this segment as Adam talked about three picks that he really likes for this weekend and a couple of leans. This is a good overview of the NFL betting card and the SuperContest is always fun to discuss. Brent from DSI Sportsbook joined us as our final guest of the week for this week's version of The Odds Report. The Army/Navy game has sharp money involvement, but the focus of the college football part was mostly to look at bowl season and talk about how that process goes from managing risk to raising limits to everything in between. Some games have seen sharp betting already, so Brent touched on those games with us. The NFL Week 14 sharp money has also hit, so Adam and Brent discussed those sides and totals and talked about where bettors can expect those lines to move as we approach kickoff.
