This episode is part 15 in a series going through the story of the Book of Mormon. This episode covers chapters 4-8 of the book of Mosiah. King Benjamin passes the crown of Zarahemla to his son Mosiah. The people all covenant with God and take on the name "the children of Christ."After King Benjamin passes away three years later, King Mosiah sends a band of men to the land of Nephi to find out what happened to others they had sent. Some stay near a hill in Silom outside the land of Nephi while Ammon and his three brothers enter. King Limhi of the Nephites arrests them and asks why they're there. When Limhi finds out they're from Zarahemla just as his grandfather was, they rejoice. The Lamanites had subjected the Nephites to burdensome taxes.Ammon and his brothers learn that some Nephite travelers had retrieved some golden plates from a more ancient civilization. We also find out that a "seer" is superior to an "interpreter" and a "prophet."Further research:Book of Mormon in videoJoseph Smith: The Prophet of the RestorationThe Book of Mormon online: Mosiah [chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]*** Please contribute to the Hurricane relief fund for A.M. This episode is part 13 in a series going through the story of the Book of Mormon. This episode covers three small books that follow the Book of Jacob: Enos, Jarom, and Omni. There is a lot about the brass plates being passed down from generation to generation and how the Nephites fare against the Lamanites. Some questions arise with the date ranges and the age of Jacob when he died. We look at a few anachronisms in the Book of Mormon from these short books and, of course, quotes from the New Testament before their time. We eventually learn about a civilization in ancient America that started from one surviving son of King Zedekiah.Further research:Book of Mormon in videoJoseph Smith: The Prophet of the RestorationThe Book of Mormon online: Enos, Jarom, Omni*** Please contribute to the Hurricane relief fund for A.M. Ah, the mission to the Lamanites...that didn't baptize any Lamanites. But it did give Parley Pratt a chance to catch up with an old friend. Great story! If you'd like to view the video that goes with podcast, click here
Join us as we discuss the teachings of Dr. D. Todd Harrison on the Doctrine and Covenants 27-28Dr. Harrison's lesson examines Doctrine and Covenants sections 27 and 28, emphasizing Christ's ongoing testimony of the restored Church and the divine calling of Joseph Smith. Section 27 clarifies the sacrament's symbolic nature and anticipates a future messianic feast, while affirming the roles of key figures in the Restoration. Section 28 addresses prophetic authority, establishing Joseph Smith as the sole recipient of commandments for the Church, and instructs Oliver Cowdery regarding his teaching responsibilities and preaching to the Lamanites. The lesson concludes with an invitation for all to embrace the gospel, whether new, returning, or seeking deeper commitment.
Section 30 - Historical Background: Following the second conference of the Church at Fayette, the Lord provided revelations to several new converts who were anxious to know what God would have them do. This revelation was to three of the Whitmer brothers, David, Peter Jr. and John. Recap: David Whitmer, one of the three witnesses, is admonished for fearing man more than God and for not giving heed to the Spirit. Therefore he is to remain home and ponder upon his situation. Peter is called on a mission to the Lamanites with Oliver Cowdery, who will be the senior in the companionship. John was called on a mission to declare the gospel within the area and was counselled not to fear man. Section 31 - Historical Background: Thomas B Marsh was a recent convert from Massachusetts who was baptized in August 1830 by David Whitmer. In September he attended the conference in Fayette and received this personal revelation from Joseph. Recap: The Lord is pleased with the dedication of Thomas B Marsh and he is promised blessings for him and his family. He is called on a mission to people whose hearts will be opened by God. Branches of the church will be established by Thomas. He is not assigned to a specific area but is to follow the Spirit where to go and preach. Section 32 - Historical Background: Parley P Pratt was a former minister who read the Book of Mormon and knew it was true. He was baptized in early September, 1830. He immediately went to his brother Orson who immediately accepted the gospel. Within a month Parley received this revelation along with Ziba Peterson. Recap: Parley was called on a mission to the Lamanites along with Oliver Cowdery and Peter Whitmer. Ziba Peterson was also called to join them. They are reassured that God will be in their midst. Section 33 - Historical Background: Ezra Thayre and Northrop Sweet were mediocre members and lacked in zeal, yet asked for this revelation pertaining to their purpose. Recap: Ezra and Northrop are called to preach. The Lord encourages them go forth and open their mouths. Faith, repentance, baptism by water and fire constitutes the rock of the restored church. They are to use the Book of Mormon as their manual. Section 34 - Historical Background: At the age of 19, Orson Pratt was introduced to the gospel by his brother Parley. He immediately embraced the doctrine and was baptized. He traveled to Fayette to meet the Prophet Joseph and received this revelation. Recap: Christ is a light which the wicked don't comprehend. Orson is called to preach to the wicked before Christ comes again, which will be quickly. Section 35 - Historical Background: Sidney Rigdon was a Baptist minister who became discouraged and moved to the Campbellite church. He was introduced to the Book of Mormon and after 2 weeks was baptized. After meeting Joseph he received this personal revelation, including the commandment to be Joseph's scribe. As a result of Sidney's fulfillment of this revelation, we have much of the recorded Doctrine and Covenants. Recap: Sidney Rigdon, like John the Baptist, has prepared the way for the Lord. God calls upon the weak and unlearned to respond to His call. The Lord testifies to Sidney of the prophetic calling of Joseph. Sidney is to watch over Joseph and support him. He is commanded to be Joseph's scribe and forsake him not. Section 36 - Historical Background: Edward Partridge arrived in Fayette with Sidney Rigdon and wanted to meet Joseph to decide for himself if he was a prophet. When Sidney introduced him the spirit immediately confirmed to Edward that Joseph was indeed a prophet of God. Edward desired immediate baptism but Joseph needed rest and baptized him the following day. Sidney asked Joseph for the Lord's guidance and the following revelation was given for Edward (see Section 35 for Sidney's revelation). Recap: Sidney Rigdon is instructed to lay hands upon Edward and confirm him a member and give him the gift of the Holy Ghost. Edward is then called to preach the Gospel, as are all those who desire to be sent forth with a singleness of heart.

This episode is part 10 in a series going through the story of the Book of Mormon. In Jacob chapter 3, Jacob continues his sermon against the people of Nephi for their pride, greed, and polygamy. I discuss a little about the polygamy issue I raised in the last part. Jacob also warns the Nephites that, if they don't repent, they could end up with darker skin than the Lamanites. Apparently, in the ancient Americas, sin affects skin. And darker skin is a curse from God.Jacob chapter 4 talks about how the brass plates record many clear prophecies about Jesus: the atonement, that He is the "only begotten Son" and that Abraham and Isaac are a picture of God the Father and Jesus. Because the Jews in captivity became stiffnecked against the clear prophecies that even the prophets before them received, God took away these clear prophecies and gave them words harder to understand. The LDS church argues that Joseph Smith restored the true church from apostasy. Section 27 - Historical Background: It had been four months since the organization of the church and the saints had been partaking of the sacrament using bread and wine. After the baptism of Emma Smith along with others, a meeting was held for the confirmation to take place followed by the partaking of the sacrament. However, there was no wine available for the sacrament so Joseph set out to obtain some. He had not gone far when he was met by a Heavenly messenger who gave him this revelation directly from the Savior. Recap: The emblems used in the Lord's sacrament can be something other than bread and wine as long as they are partaken with an eye single to the glory of God and done in remembrance of the body and blood of Christ. Section 28 - Historical Background: August of 1830 was a challenging time for both Joseph and Emma. The lies and persecution toward Joseph in Harmony reached the heart of Emma's father who now refused any further refuge for Joseph and Emma. Harsh persecution forced Joseph and Emma to flee Harmony and move into the residence of the Whitmer's home in Fayette. No sooner had they arrived when they learned that Hyrum Page, one of the eight witnesses, had claimed to be receiving revelations through a certain stone. Some members, including Oliver Cowdery, had been deceived by these claims. Joseph inquired of the Lord and received this revelation, directed to the deceived Oliver Cowdery. Recap: The Lord declares that only His appointed prophet has the keys to receive revelation for His church, for all things must be done in order. He commands Oliver Cowdery to remedy the deceit which has spread due to the stone used by Hiram Page, and to counsel with Hiram privately. Once this Satanic deceit has been settled, Oliver is to go on a mission to the Lamanites

It also speaks about the roles of various heavenly messengers and apostles, such as Peter, James, and John, and introduces the metaphor of putting on the "whole armor of God" for spiritual protection. Section 28 addresses church governance and prophetic authority, highlighting that Joseph Smith is the authoritative voice for receiving revelations for the church, while Oliver Cowdery is counseled to follow him, and Hiram Page is corrected for claiming revelation through a seer stone. 126 Episode – Unprecedented Times Captain Moroni's leadership marked a change in how the Nephites defended themselves from the Lamanites. But why does that matter to us? Scripture References Alma 43:18-21 Alma 49:8 Alma 48:7 Episode about Captain Moroni The Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation, Press. Russell M. Nelson. General Conference, Oct. 2021.
After Captain Moroni's preparations, the Nephites were prepared for the Lamanites and had all power over them. The war should have ended after one battle. However, the Nephites opened the front door and let them in by making two mistakes. Many, today, make the same mistakes and let the enemy in.
This is the story of some Nephites dissenting and choosing Amlici to be their king. He leads them to war against Alma's army and joins up with the Lamanites to attack Zarahemla. In the strength of the Lord, the Nephites prevail! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

** #125 Alma 9: Face Off! ** :: The boring BUDDY-COP sermon without the BUDDY :: In this episode, Gigi and Patience dive into Christmas propaganda, and the eternal struggle of being a Lamanite in a Nephite world (or vice-versa because in a refreshing twist, Alma doesn't seem to see much of a difference in this chapter). Patience gets a job, then is fired for calling out someone's religious hypocrisy. And Gigi, suggests a career change as an "AI wrangler", like the kind potentially employed (but probably not) on the Church's suspiciously perfect "Light the World" campaign. The same campaign website has a silly "Kindness Randomizer," tool to suggest useless things to do over Xmas (that only make sense if you transposed the 1950s into 2024). Stuff like, making art for your dad, or sending a kind text. Gigi suggests productive ideas like "take in homeless people", or "clean your damn room." Patience suggests dad probably just wants 5 minutes alone. The duo tackle Oakes' recent devotional speech where he addressed accusations that LDS parents in Utah are excluding non-LDS peers from socialising with their spawn. Gigi suggests it's probably less intentional, and more a result of always being at church activities. But the real star of the show is Alma 9, where Alma and his "toy boy" Amulek deliver a fiery sermon full of threats, repetition, and stiff-necked insults. Gigi and Patience dissect the chapter, and Alma's obsession with being "cut off from the face of the earth", and his twist in favor towards the Lamanites. Turns out, God likes them better than the Nephites in this town, who are apparently just too blessed to function. But ultimately God seems to hate everyone he has made. Why doesn't he blame himself? The episode wraps with a wild tangent about Joseph Smith's probable adoration of itinerant preachers at tent revivals, his aversion to hard work, and his genius for turning religion into a lucrative business. Gigi and Patience fantasize about starting their own church, the "Church of the Big Fuck You," where tithes are replaced with "fuck you money." #Reasons to stay home this Sunday# - https://bookofboredom.com/reasons/ #Join the Blasphemy# - https://facebook.com/groups/BookOfBoredom #Patreon (Bonus Episodes)# - https://patreon.com/BookOfBoredom #Twitter# - https://twitter.com/BookOfBoredom #TikTok# - https://tiktok.com/@BookOfBoredomPodcast #Instagram# - https://instagram.com/BookOfBoredomPodcast #YouTube# - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMjDavWoT73Cev3IAie_XBA #Website# - https://bookofboredom.com/ A nice review on any podcast platform will help frustrate the Heavenly Father's boring plans for your future.
December 16-22 I think it's fascinating that Moroni starts out chapter 10 by saying that he'd like to send these words to his brethren, the Lamanites. That is a fascinating view of Moroni's heart. He has seen the Lamanites completely destroy his nation. Because of the Lamanites, he remains alone. Because of the Lamanites, his father has been killed and all of his kinfolk and family are dead. Now, despite all this, he writes this most important message to his brethren, the Lamanites. How can any human be so full of the love of Christ?
Mormon describes the horror of the Nephites and Lamanites wickedness as they war against one another. This is a reading of Moroni Chapter 9. Here is a link to the text: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/bofm/moro/9?lang=eng

Mormon shares a sermon on discerning good from evil, encouraging us to judge righteously by the light of Christ. Additionally, he provides insight into the challenges faced by the Nephites and Lamanites during their wars, urging his son Moroni to remain faithful and strong despite witnessing widespread wickedness and despair. Part 3 of Moroni's “Priesthood Manual to future Lamanites”, he throws a ton of stuff into 9 short verses...the most interesting to me is a section that I like to call “How to fix boring church meetings”.
An in-depth study of Moroni 7-9, covering Mormon's sermon on faith, hope, and charity, and Mormon's letters to Moroni on infant baptism and the depravity of the Nephites and Lamanites. This lesson focuses on the collapse of civilization, obedience to the unenforceable, faithfulness in the face of wickedness, raising children in a wicked world, rhetorical situations, dead works, ultimate hope, sufficient faith in sufficient grace, the gift of charity, and more.
Moroni unexpectedly continues to write for the benefit of the Lamanites because he has not died. This is a reading of Moroni Chapter 1. Here is a link to the text: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/bofm/moro/1?lang=eng
The teachings of Moroni, who has endured 35 years of solitude following the destruction of nearly all the Nephite people at Cumorah. Despite the constant threat from the Lamanites, Moroni remains steadfast in his faith, determined to preserve the sacred records for future generations. Moroni sets forth guidelines for the restoration of the church in the latter days, including the required power and authority by the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost and for ordaining priesthood offices. He relates the requirements necessary in the administration of the sacrament for both bread and wine. Moroni also outlines the qualifications for baptism, stressing the need for genuine repentance and a commitment to seek and serve Christ to the end. He provides guidance on maintaining the integrity of the church by addressing iniquity among its members and underscores the importance of fellowship and forgiveness. Finally, Moroni teaches how church meetings should be conducted under the guidance of the Holy Ghost, fostering an environment of spiritual growth in teaching, exhorting, praying and in song.
December 2-8 Moroni did not know when he would die, attacked by Lamanites or some other deadly surprise, in his 36-year wandering. He tells his latter-day readers goodbye more than once on the plates. Yet even living with that insecurity, not knowing his own mortal future, Moroni trudges on with absolute faith.

This is the story of what happened to King Limhi's people after they became slaves to the Lamanites. Mormon speaks to the Lamanites of the latter days and says all who believe in the bible will also believe in the Book of Mormon. This is a reading of Mormon Chapter 7. Here is a link to the text: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/bofm/morm/7?lang=eng
Mormon confronts the collapse of the Nephite civilization and speaks to the future Lamanites of the latter days, telling them who they really are and their need to repent and lay down their weapons of war. In his final writing he pleads that they will read this record of the Book of Mormon, along with the Bible, and accept Jesus Christ by baptism and receive the Holy Ghost. Moroni finishes the record as commanded by his father Mormon. He laments the destruction of the Nephites and his solitude, but commits his determination to preserve the sacred writings amidst the destruction. Moroni offers a poignant reflection on the condition of the world in the latter days, foreseeing widespread disbelief, pride, moral decay and the works of darkness. He urges future generations who receive this record, to seek God with unshaken firmness, and to work out one's own exaltaion through Jesus Christ.
We learn the brief, yet remarkable biography of prophet Mormon. As he recounts his life experiences, we witness the early signs of his greatness when he was just a boy. Chosen by the Nephite historian Ammaron, Mormon is given charge of the sacred records. Amidst a backdrop of wars, political upheaval, and spiritual corruption, we follow Mormon's journey from a young observer to the commander of the Nephite armies. As the Nephites face relentless battles against the Lamanites, Mormon continues to plead with the Nephites to repent and look to God for their hope and for their success. Despite moments of victory, the pervasive wickedness among the Nephites leads to devastating consequences as the entire Nephite nation is destroyed.

Send us a textFrom Come Follow Me: "The teachings of Jesus Christ are much more than a beautiful philosophy to ponder. They are meant to inspire us to become like Him. The book of 4 Nephi shows just how completely the Savior's gospel can change people. Following Jesus's brief ministry, centuries of contention between the Nephites and Lamanites came to an end. Two nations known for dissension and pride became “one, the children of Christ” (4 Nephi 1:17), and they began to have “all things common among them” (4 Nephi 1:3). The “love of God … did dwell in the hearts of the people,” and “there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God” (4 Nephi 1:15–16). Send us a textFrom Come Follow Me: "When you hear people use terms like house of Israel, do you feel like they're talking about you? The Nephites and Lamanites were literal descendants of Israel, “a branch of the tree of Israel,” and yet they felt “lost from its body” (Alma 26:36; see also 1 Nephi 15:12). But the Savior wanted them to know that they were not lost to Him. “Ye are of the house of Israel,” He said, “and ye are of the covenant” (3 Nephi 20:25). He might say something similar to you today, for anyone who is baptized and makes covenants with Him is also of the house of Israel, “of the covenant.” In other words, when Jesus speaks of the house of Israel, He is talking about you. The instruction to bless “all the kindreds of the earth” is for you (3 Nephi 20:27). The invitation to “awake again, and put on thy strength” is for you (3 Nephi 20:36). And His precious promise, “My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,” is for you (3 Nephi 22:10)."Support the show:www.patreon.com/SaintsintheSouth(The thoughts, ideas, and beliefs we express on this channel do not officially represent The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this episode, we dive into part two of our exploration of the "skin of blackness" mentioned in the Book of Mormon. Historically, leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints identified Native Americans as the Lamanites. But as we approach the early 2000s, new theories have emerged. Could the "skin of blackness" refer to paint, tattoos, or dark animal skins? Join us as we unpack these intriguing ideas and their implications for understanding the text. Wickedness increases and the Nephites and Lamanites unite to defend against the Gadiantons. This is a reading of 3 Nephi Chapter 2. Here is a link to the text: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/bofm/3-ne/2?lang=eng
Why was Samuel the Lamanites call to repentance and faith in Christ met with such resistance? John talks about how his story teaches us about recognizing true prophets and how we can spiritually prepare for future times.
Foretold Promises by Autumn Dickson In the chapters for this week, we find Samuel the Lamanite. His title, “the Lamanite,” is actually very telling for this particular passage in The Book of Mormon. All throughout the history of The Book of Mormon, the Lamanites were traditionally the ones who rejected the gospel. And yet, we've […] The post Come, Follow Me with FAIR – Helaman 13-16 – Autumn Dickson appeared first on FAIR.
September 9-15 In the Book of Mormon, the Nephites always think of themselves as the good guys. In a movie, they'd ride in wearing the white hat or the gold star, signifying their goodness. Yet, the Book of Mormon demonstrates that often the Nephites are relentlessly blind to their own wickedness and it is the Lamanites who are the most faithful and true. Enter the scene into the wicked Nephite city of Zarahemla: Samuel the Lamanite. The point is clear.
Our Mothers Knew It with Maria EckersleyA Creative Study of Come, Follow MeBook of Mormon [HELAMAN 1-6] Insights“The Rock of Our Redeemer”August 26 - September 1, 2024WEEK 35: SUMMARY=================Lesson Summary:The book of Helaman is a build-up to the coming of Jesus Christ in the Book of Mormon. Our master editor, Mormon, sets the stage by helping us understand the depths of the darkness brought on by the Coriantumr, Kishkumen, and the Gadianton Robbers. That dark backdrop will make the bright bursts of light we find in the stories of Moronihah, Helaman, Nephi, Lehi, Aminadab and others. The contrast will catch your heart and help you feel more equipped to conquer the darkness of our day.Questions to Consider:Helaman 3:30 | What do you think it means to sit with the holy fathers and “go no more out”? Helaman 5:8 | What do you think a heavenly treasure is? Is it relationships, a rate of progression, a certainty of some kind? What else could we possibly “lay-up” for ourselves?Helaman 6:36-38 | The Lamanites converted or removed the Gadianton Robbers from the lands but the Nephites “build them up and support them” until most “come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils.” Do you see similar trends in our day? What does ripening for destruction look like in our day? Could teaching truth reverse that trend?CHAPTERS=========00:00:13 INSIGHTS INTRODUCTION00:02:11 INSIGHTS CHAPTER SUMMARY00:08:00 SPARK 1: HELAMAN & HANNAH00:18:16 SPARK 2: THE INVISIBLE BATTLE00:28:15 SPARK 3: THE RELUCTANT DISCO BALL00:39:13 QUESTIONS00:42:25 WRAP UPLINKS=====WEB: https://www.gather.meckmom.comINSTAGRAM: Instagram @meckmomlifePODCAST: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST DISCLAIMER=================================This podcast represents my own thoughts and opinions. August 26-September 1 In Helaman chapters 1-6, the Lamanites become the righteous and the Nephites the wicked. How does this switch come about? And the new enemy are the Gadianton robbers, who capture the allegiance of many of the Nephites. Things happen fast in the Book of Mormon, a roller coaster of righteousness and wickedness. I used to think it was hard to imagine such reversals and drama in such a short period of time, until we all entered these tumultuous times in our own nation.
Our Mothers Knew It with Maria EckersleyA Creative Study of Come, Follow MeBook of Mormon [ALMA 53-63] Insights“Preserved by His Marvelous Power”August 19 – August 25 2024WEEK 34: SUMMARY=================Lesson Summary:The second half of the war chapters are focused on reclaiming what has been lost. The Lamanites have invaded fortified cities. It will take mighty efforts of men mixed with the Lord's deliverance to get them back again. God will keep his promises of deliverance to the Anti-Nephi-Lehies and protect their 2000 sons. He'll endow them with power and capacity to change the course of Nephtite history and regain what was lost. Questions to Consider:Alma 53:2 | Do you think God prepared people like Lehi, Moroni, Helaman, Teancum, Antipus, etc. for this particular moment? Or do you think this particular moment makes these men? Have you felt a premortal connection in your callings or responsibilities? Alma 55 | What does this story teach us about God's approach to those who have been victimized? How does Elder Kearon's talk from Apr 2022 add to this idea? Do you see his invitation to go from “Victim to Survivor to Conqueror” in this story?Alma 54:20 | Where do you see this in our day? Are there those who claim power to do, seal, or stop things things that are entirely beyond their mortal capabilities?CHAPTERS=========00:00:13 INSIGHTS INTRODUCTION00:03:18 INSIGHTS CHAPTER SUMMARY00:08:31 SPARK 1: INVISIBLE ARMOR OF LIGHT00:24:50 SPARK 2: PLANTED PROMISES00:36:41 SPARK 3: POWER BY DEGREES00:47:45 QUESTIONS00:53:43 WRAP UPLINKS=====WEB: https://www.gather.meckmom.comINSTAGRAM: Instagram @meckmomlifePODCAST: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST DISCLAIMER=================================This podcast represents my own thoughts and opinions. To Support and Suffer by Autumn Dickson One of the most well-known stories in The Book of Mormon is that of the stripling warriors. Though their story is replete with inspiring stories and principles, I want to actually discuss their fathers, namely the Lamanites converts who changed their name to the Anti-Nephi-Lehies. These Anti-Nephi-Lehies came to […] The post Come, Follow Me with FAIR – Alma 53–63 – Autumn Dickson appeared first on FAIR.

An in-depth study of Alma 23-29, recounting the aftermath of the missions of the sons of Mosiah among the Lamanites. This lesson focuses on reverse engineering a lifelong convert, laying down the weapons of our rebellion, granting repentance, "all we can do," erasing sin, maintaining higher moral ground, anticipatory obedience, praise or pride, glorying in God, bringing thousands, forbidding slavery, suffering because of others, divine contentment, and more.
July 1-7 Can you imagine if today you opened a mission call and it was for a 14-year mission to a violent people whose aim was to destroy you? You might think twice about that kind of call. Yet, the sons of Mosiah, Nephite princes who could have had a very different life, chose to go to preach to the Lamanites, a people described as “wild and a hardened and a ferocious people; a people who delighted in murdering the Nephites” (Alma 17:14). No wonder Mosiah was concerned about the safety of his sons, and sought counsel from the Lord, who gave him a promise.
An in-depth study of Alma 17-22. This lesson focuses on the missions of the sons of Mosiah among the Lamanites, fellowservants, gaining trust, gathering lost sheep, Creation/Fall/Atonement, Pascal's conversion, Abish and Lamoni's queen, prioritizing mission companions, coming to know God, and more.
