The Come Follow Me Kids podcast is an incredible resource for families and individuals looking to engage with the scriptures in a fun and interactive way. From the engaging games to the relatable stories, this podcast truly brings the scriptures to life for children of all ages. As a parent, I have found it to be an invaluable tool in teaching my children about the scriptures and fostering meaningful discussions about gospel principles.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to captivate young listeners and make learning about scripture enjoyable. The hosts, Christie and Issac, have a wonderful sense of humor and their energy shines through in every episode. The games they include are not only entertaining but also help reinforce key concepts from the scriptures. As a result, my children always look forward to listening to this podcast and eagerly ask for it whenever we get in the car.

Another great aspect of this podcast is how it facilitates important discussions about spiritual topics. The stories told in each episode serve as catalysts for meaningful conversations between parents and children. This has allowed me to have some truly special moments with my kids as we delve deeper into the scriptures together. I appreciate that the podcast provides opportunities for pausing and discussing certain points, allowing us to reflect on what we've learned and apply it to our lives.

However, one drawback of this podcast is that sometimes the sound effects can be overpowering or make it difficult to understand what is being said. Although they add a playful element to the episodes, there are moments where clarity is sacrificed for entertainment value. While this may not bother younger listeners who are more focused on the overall experience, it can be slightly frustrating for older listeners or those who prefer a more straightforward approach.

In conclusion, The Come Follow Me Kids podcast is an outstanding resource that successfully combines entertainment with scripture study. It engages children through fun games and relatable stories while also sparking important discussions about gospel principles. Despite minor issues with sound effects, this podcast remains a valuable tool for families and individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of the scriptures in an enjoyable way. I am incredibly grateful to the creators for their hard work and dedication in making this podcast a reality.

This week we learn about preparing for the spiritual harvest and working together to bring others to Christ. It's a reminder that sharing the gospel brings joy, blessings, and the opportunity to make a real difference.I am called to be a witness of Jesus Christ.Whether or not you have a formal calling as a missionary, you can be a witness of Jesus Christ “at all times, and in all things, and in all places”If I build my life on the Savior's gospel, I will not fall.I should focus more on the things of God than the things of the earth.Parley P. Pratt had been a member of the Church for about a month when he was called “into the wilderness” to preach the gospel (Doctrine and Covenants 32:2). Thomas B. Marsh had been a member for even less time than that when he was told, “The hour of your mission is come” Orson Pratt, Edward Partridge, and many others had likewise barely been baptized when their mission calls came. Perhaps there's a lesson in this pattern for us today: if you know enough to accept the restored gospel by baptism, you know enough to share it with others.Fun podcast for kidsFun Book of Mormon podcast for kids Game podcast

Armor of God podcast for KidsArmor of God podcast for childrenAll Things Must Be Done in Order”Doctrine and Covenants 27–28The armor of god is what this episode mainly focuses on. Revelation was still a relatively new concept for the Saints as the Restoration continued to unfold. Early Church members knew that the Prophet Joseph Smith could receive revelation for the Church. But could others? Questions like this became critical when Hiram Page, one of the Eight Witnesses of the gold plates, believed he had received revelations for the Church. Many faithful Saints believed that these revelations were from God. The Lord responded by teaching that in His Church “all things must be done in order” (Doctrine and Covenants 28:13). This week we will learn this story and learn that only the prophet can receive revelation for the church. The scriptures teach that we should put on the “whole armor” of God (see Ephesians 6:11–18 and D&C 27:15–18). When we study the scriptures and pray, it's like we put on armor that helps keep us safe.Helmet of SalvationA helmet protects the head. We keep our mind safe when we follow Jesus and do what He wants us to do.Shield of FaithFaith in Jesus Christ is like a shield of protection. When we believe in Jesus and try to be like Him, we can make good choices, even when things are hard.Breastplate of RighteousnessThe breastplate protects the heart. When we love God with all our heart, we try to keep His commandments. We are blessed when we choose the right.Etc. You're listening to Come Follow Me Kids! A Come Follow Me Podcast. The Lord said, "The song of the righteous is a prayer unto me." As we sing hymns and primary songs, it's like a prayer to Heavenly Father. March 17–23: “Seek for the Things of a Better World”Doctrine and Covenants 23–26Satan clearly was fighting against the restoration of Gods church. Not only was there an angry mob yelling at Emma Smith while she was getting baptized, but that same day, Joseph was arrested twice even though he did nothing wrong. This must have been scary for Emma.In all this opposition, how could Emma know that she was doing the right thing? The same way we can know it—through revelation from the Lord. the Lord counseled, "Be patient in afflictions, for thou shalt have many; but endure them, for, lo, I am with thee, even unto the end of thy days.Did you know the Lord called Emma an Elect Lady? This week we learn that Joseph Smith needed to publish the Book of Mormon, and in order to do that Martin Harris needed to mortgage his farm: From saints:Joseph knew the Lord wanted him to publish the Book of Mormon and spread its message far and wide. Publishing a book as long as the Book of Mormon would also not be cheap. They went first to Egbert Grandin, a printer in Palmyra who was the same age as Joseph. he wanted to be paid $3,000 to print and bind five thousand copies before he even started work. To put this into perspective, Joseph had paid $200 for his entire home and farm in Harmony, so $3,000 was an enormous amount of money.Martin had already promised to help pay for the printing, but to come up with that kind of money, he realized he might need to mortgage his farm.He had one of the best farms in the area. If he mortgaged his land, he risked losing it. Martin told Joseph his concerns and asked him to seek a revelation for him. In response, the Savior spoke of His sacrifice to do His Father's will, Thou shalt not covet thine own property,” the Lord said, “but impart it freely to the printing of the Book of Mormon.” The book contained the true word of God, the Lord assured Martin, and it would help others believe the gospel.Should Martin use his farm to help get the Book of Mormon printed? give a thumbs up if you think he should and a thumbs down if you think he shouldn't.Although his neighbors would not understand his decision, Martin obeyed the Lord and mortgaged his farm to guarantee payment.Children will learn:Jesus Christ obeyed Heavenly Father, even when it was hard.God's blessings are greater than the treasures of the earth.Jesus Christ suffered so that I can repent and come unto Him.

How talented is someone, how educated are they? How much money do they make? How beautiful are they? But in God's eyes, our worth is much simpler. We are his children and we are important to him! “Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God” This explains so much of what God does and why He does it. Why did He instruct Joseph and Oliver to establish the Church of Jesus Christ in our day? Because the worth of souls is great. Why does He “command all men everywhere to repent” and send Apostles to preach repentance? Because the worth of souls is great. And why did Jesus Christ suffer “death in the flesh” and “the pain of all men”? Say it with me!Because the worth of souls is great. Come Follow MeCome Follow Me For Kids“Upon You My Fellow Servants”Doctrine and Covenants 12–17; Joseph Smith—History 1:66–75The Aaronic Priesthood Is Restored John the Baptist visits Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdry and restores the priesthood on earth. This week we are going to learn that the keys of the priesthood are a super important a part of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Priesthood keys are given to act in God's name, by his power and authority. For example God has given us keys to baptize and bless the sacrament Because these keys were restored to God's church, we enjoy many blessings made through covenants that bring us closer to Jesus Christ.Joseph and Oliver worked hard translating the gold plates into english for many days. They came to the part of the Book of Mormon where Jesus Christ appeared to the Nephites. They read that Jesus gave Nephi the priesthood power and authority to baptize. Joseph and Oliver knew that the authority to baptize was not on the earth in their day.Joseph and Oliver wanted to know more about the authority to baptize, could anyone do it? How did it work? They walked to the trees near Joseph's house. They prayed and asked God about the authority to baptize in Christ's name. While they were praying, an angel descended from heaven in a cloud of light. The angel was John the Baptist, John the Baptist had the Aaronic Priesthood—God's authorityto baptize. Jesus was baptized to set anexample for us, and John was the person that baptized Jesus! Now as an angel, John the Baptist put his hands on Joseph and Oliver's heads and said, "Upon you my fellow servants, in the name of Messiah, I confer the Priesthood of Aaron, which holds the keys of the ministering of angels, and of the gospel of repentance, and of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins." The power and authority of the Aaronic Priesthood was restored to the earth! Why did an angel need to come and give it to them? Because no one on earth had that power. John the Baptist then told Joseph and Oliver they should baptize each other, so they wentto the River and and were baptized. They both felt the power of the Holy Ghost and after this, understanding the scriptures was way easier! And now, because the priesthood authority is back on the earth, we can be baptized like Jesus was, repent from bad choices, and receive the power of the Holy Ghost! This weeks primary podcast is about: Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdry receive revelation NOT to retranslate the plates from which the manuscript was stolen. It might make sense to retranslate that portion, but the Lord saw something they could not: their enemies were planning to alter the words on those pages to cast doubt on Joseph's inspired work. God had a plan to avoid that problem and keep the work moving forward. Thousands of years earlier, God inspired Nephi to write a second record that covered the same time period “for a wise purpose in Him” (1 Nephi 9:5).“My wisdom,” the Lord said to Joseph, “is greater than the cunning of the devil” (Doctrine and Covenants 10:43). That's a reassuring message in a day like ours, when the adversary is intensifying his efforts to weaken faith. Like Joseph, we can be “faithful and continue on” in the work God has called us to do (verse 3). Then we will find that He has already provided a way so that “the gates of hell shall not prevail” against us (verse 69).The Lord's “wisdom is greater than the cunning of the devil.” Nephi didn't know why he was inspired to make two sets of records of his people. And Mormon didn't know why he was inspired to include the second set with the gold plates. But both prophets trusted that God had “a wise purpose” (1 Nephi 9:5; Words of Mormon 1:7).We will also learn about Divine Design reading from accounts in Elder Ronald A. Rasband's message “By Divine Design”—they might bring examples to your mind (Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2017, 55–57).And we read from: The Lord's Hand”President M. Russell BallardA talk given at BYUHe basically tells the story of his ancestor who was on the Mayflower and during a terrible storm fell overboard. As this man was falling he was somehow able to grab onto a rope and hang on for dear life as he was drug through the water until the storm subsided. Let's listen to what important things angel Moroni came to teach Joseph Smith. Can you pretend to be Joseph while you are listening to this story? The next four years would be a time of preparation for Joseph. Part of that preparation would be the purifying of his heart in order to receive the precious items, the golden plates and the rim and thumin. Here's what happened next to Joseph. Joseph would bring forth the Book of Mormon; we are invited to share its message. Joseph would receive priesthood keys to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers; we can now receive ordinances for our ancestors in temples. Joseph was told of prophecies that would soon be fulfilled; we are called to help fulfill these prophecies. As we take part in God's work, we can expect to face opposition and even persecution, just as the Prophet did. But we can also have faith that the Lord will make us instruments in His hands, just as He did for Joseph.

This week we are learning about the first vision of Joseph Smith. January 13–19: “I Saw a Pillar of Light”Joseph Smith History Joseph Smith is the Prophet of the Restoration.Joseph Smith was prepared to be a prophet of God.We will also learn from Joseph Smiths first vision in the sacred grove, a pattern of prayer that we can follow to get answers ourselves. WE can follow the pattern Joseph showed us during his life, a pattern of prayer! Joseph said he was twelve when he started thinking about which church he should join. He had the first vision when he was 14. So this wasn't a question he figured the answer to in a day, a week, or a month. For our pattern of prayer, to be like Joseph, we should know that sometimes answers to our questions can take time. Joseph tells us when he was trying to decide which church to join, he was so young that he could not come to any certain conclusion and needed wisdom from god since he did not know how to act. For our pattern of prayer, to be like Joseph, we need to make sure we gather all the information we can and then go to God. Joseph said he spent time in serious reflection. When we need help, do we spent time pondering solutions? If you want help on a test, you've got to study, - you can't just pray for an A and not do your part and expect God to help. Joseph said he attended all the different meetings as often as he could. He was doing his divine homework! Joseph made a decision, he chose which church he thought was best, then he that decision to God to see if it was right. Often Heavenly Father expects us to make the best choice we can and then ask him to confirm if it is the right choice. Joseph went somewhere where he could be unrushed and uninterrupted with God.If you follow this pattern of prayer, and try to be like Joseph, we testify that you will be able to say the same thing to your mom that Joseph said to his right after he went home after having had the first vision…I have learned for myself Remember in the beginning Joseph didn't know what to do? He was so confused. But in studying and praying like Joseph we testify you will be able to say all is well, i know for myself. Some background music was written by Daniel Sacks and taken from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints hymn book.

This week we learn about the destruction or end of the jaredites. We learn about how Ether could not be captured by them and how he hid in a cave. We learn about Shiz and Coriantumur and their final battle. Principles the children will learn this week are:Faith in Jesus Christ can lead to miracles.Jesus Christ can turn my weakness into strength.Rejecting the Lord's prophets puts me in spiritual danger.Faith is believing in things I cannot see.Jesus Christ can help me become spiritually strong. The story about Parker and other audio comes from the Friend Magazine or the church's youth album. November 25–December 1: “By Faith All Things Are Fulfilled”Ether 12–15 Ether's prophecies to the Jaredites were “great and marvelous” (Ether 12:5). He “told them of all things, from the beginning of man” (Ether 13:2). He foresaw “the days of Christ” and the latter-day New Jerusalem (Ether 13:4). And he spoke of “hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God” (Ether 12:4). But the Jaredites rejected his words, for the same reason people often reject the prophecies of God's servants today—“because they [see] them not” (Ether 12:5). It takes faith to believe in promises or warnings about things we can't see, just as it took faith for Ether to prophesy of “great and marvelous things” to an unbelieving people. It took faith for Moroni to trust that the Lord could take his “weakness in writing” and turn it into strength (see Ether 12:23–27). It's this kind of faith that makes us “sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God” (Ether 12:4). And it's this kind of faith by which “all things are fulfilled” (Ether 12:3).

The Jaredites were destroyed. Remember what we read in Mosiah? - Hundreds of years after the Jaredites were destroyed, the Nephites discovered the ruins of their ancient civilization. Among these ruins was a mysterious record—plates of “pure gold” that were “filled with engravings,” and the Nephites “were desirous beyond measure” to read it. Today we have an abridgment of this record, and it's called the book of Ether. What we are reading in the scriptures this week! When the Nephites read it, “they were filled with sorrow” to learn of the tragic fall of the Jaredites. “Nevertheless it gave them much knowledge, in the which they did rejoice” You, too, may find sad moments in this book. But you can also rejoice in this gift of knowledge. As Moroni wrote, “it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you … that evil may be done away, and that the time may come that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men” So let's remember: The Lord will guide us through our mortal journey. We are blessed when we follow God's prophet. We can trust Heavenly Father to comfort us when we are scared.Remembering what the Lord has done brings gratitude and peace.November 18–24: “That Evil May Be Done Away”Ether 6–11Book of Mormon Podcast for KidsWelcome to the Come Follow Me Kids Podcast! We are not officially affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and refer you to their website for any questions regarding doctrine or gospel information. This week we are reading about the Brother of Jared and how their language is not confounded. They are led through the wilderness in a cloud. They are chastised for not praying and repent. The Lord guides them and hears their prayers. They build barges that are tight like a dish. The brother of Jared asks the lord how to have light in the boat and the Lord asks what He should do. The brother of Jared makes 16 clear stones and asks the lord to touch them and make them glow. The Lord does this and the brother of Jared sees his finger and is surprised to learn the Lord has flesh and blood. What we learn this week: As I cry unto the Lord, He will have compassion on me. I can receive revelation for my life. Through His chastening, the Lord invites me to repent and come unto Him. The Lord will prepare me to cross my “great deep.” Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers. I was created in the image of God. As they grow, your children will encounter many false messages about God, themselves, and their physical bodies. We remind them that their bodies are a gift from and in the similitude of God!
