Our appreciation of the sports anime genre continues! Originally created in honor of the 50 year-old manga series Ashita no Joe, this boxing anime reimagined it with a futuristic spin, becoming a cultural favorite of an entire new generation in its own right.

This week, Will has finally caught up on The Book of Boba Fett and the boys get down and dirty talking about whether an oversized battle droid could actually take on a rancor. This is a fun, if not very law abiding conversation. After that, it's onto the anime of the week in Megalobox and boy is this a fun one that scratches an itch for Will and Sam pretends to have watched the show in preparation for this recording!
For episode 2, Marcus makes Dan and Nick watch a full season of a show where people strap machinery to their backs for enhanced punches, but the real focus is the emotional baggage people strap to their backs. Will these weebs think Megalo Box is a knockout, or is it flat on the mat and down for the count? If you enjoyed the show, please subscribe for future episodes every Wednesday. Stay ready so you never have to get ready and this week's Dragon Call guest is ready for whatever! Some people are content with their occupations while there are others that absolutely love what they do. When it comes to voice over work, the man all companies should be reaching out to for their dubbing is Mr. Kevin D. Thelwell! The list goes on and on of the anime and video games this man has done dubbing for, but just to name a few...you might have heard of Haikyuu!!, Megalo Box 2: Nomad, Pokemon Masters EX, Tribe Nine, 86 Eighty-Six, and One Piece!! I really really love Nomad, the second season of Megalo Box. I don't think it's the greatest show ever made, but in terms of the difference between Season 1 to Season 2, it's huge, and considering that season 1 was ALREADY really good, that tells you how good this second season is. So go and watch it if you haven't already. This is it, folks. The roller-coaster is taxiing to the end of the ride. We have made it through, not just season 2 but all of Megablocks (as we like to call it), and what a ride it has been. We have so enjoyed sharing it with you and are so excited to bring our final thoughts of the show to the mic for you all to hear. Endings are not all sad though! At the end of this episode, we give a preview of what's to come so stick around (or skip around if you just can't wait) to the end to catch that! Now then, we hope you enjoy the end of Joe and the gang's story with us. (Disclaimer: We are not a spoiler-free show, listen at your own risk to the episodes and shows that are discussed.)
The beginning of the end is here for Joe and the gang. Megalobox S2 Finale Part 1. We can't wait to see how the end plays out. It's been a journey to get here but thanks for sticking with us. We hope you enjoy this weeks episode and stick around for next week with the final episodes of the show! This week on Anime Pulse we got Mangakas going to jail, Christmas gifts, and Rock'em Sock'em Megalo 2. Up first the IRL news sees the 3rd Annual Anime Pulse Gift Exchange occur, with Joseph and Andrew having a grand ol' time discovering what the other bought for them. Then in the industry news, just two articles to tide us over until the New Year with the probable end of Galko-chan and the possible return of Rurouni Kenshin. Finally it's our last review show of the year as Joseph is summoned to another world to do their taxes, and Andrew equips his robots arms to play Punch Out: Nomad edition.
Things heat up for Joe and the (new) gang! How are things going to shake out for Joe and Chief? What hijinks (highjinks? hi-jinks?) have Chest, Ben, and Kolb been up to? What do you, the listener, think of our new intro song?! All that and more in today's episode (most of it anyway.) (Disclaimer: We are not a spoiler-free show, listen at your own risk to the episodes and shows that are discussed.)
Season 2 is here! Not for us but for Megalobox. Joe is back and better than ever!..........is what we wish we could say. Join us as we dive into season 2 of a boxing show that is really not about boxing. Joe is back but he is hurting. Are we going to find out what happened to the gang? Why is Joe so banged up and beat down? Why isn't he gearless? Jump into another exciting episode of Three Dads Talking About Anime to find out! Ps. We hope you enjoy the new intro for the new season! Our own Ben makes me them and we love to hear those sweet beats. (Disclaimer: We are not a spoiler-free show, listen at your own risk to the episodes and shows that are discussed.)
The end is here. We have reached the finale of Megalobox season 1! Who is going to take home the title of champion? How is this final fight going to play out after so much buildup? What happened to Kolb's back? Those questions and more get answered in this week's episode! (Disclaimer: We are not a spoiler-free show, listen at your own risk to the episodes and shows that are discussed.)

We hope you enjoy this week's chat about Joe and the crew as they continue fighting for their dreams in and out of the ring. (Disclaimer: We are not a spoiler-free show, listen at your own risk if you haven't watched the episodes being discussed.)
The show must go on and it does! This week we keep going through Megalobox and learn more about Joe and his struggle to rise in the ranks of Megaloboxing. You know we all love our friend Joe. He's the hero of Megalobox. But what if he wore a silly shirt and went viral in an embarrassing sports video? I think it would go a little something...like this. The fifth episode of the Four for Four (444) Anime Podcast! If you have ever sought out a deeper discussion in the currently airing anime season that goes beyond single episode reviews, then look no further! True to our name, we review four shows in four-episode batches, giving a more complete discussion on what the anime season has to offer, continuing with the incredibly strong Nomad: Megalobox 2.Nomad: Megalobox 2 is a sequel to the highly-regarded 2018 anime series Megalobox, so if you are a newcomer, again, spoilers abound for the first season. We see a shift of sorts through these batch of episodes as Joe is forced to confront his past while later facing a new challenge as he comes to terms with his legacy as a Megaloboxer in the form of Yuri's pupil, Liu.Twitter: https://twitter.com/444PodEmail: 444podc@gmail.comMusic: 'Daily' (Prod. by Lukrembo) ; https://twitter.com/LuKremBo
The debut episode of the Four for Four (444) Anime Podcast! If you have ever sought out a deeper discussion in the currently airing anime season that goes beyond single episode reviews, then look no further! True to our name, we review four shows in four-episode batches, giving a more complete discussion on what the anime season has to offer, starting with perhaps our favorite anime of the 2021 Spring season, Megalobox: Nomad.Megalobox: Nomad is a sequel to the highly-regarded 2018 anime series Megalobox, so if you are a newcomer, spoilers abound for the first season. That being said, even if you haven't seen the prequel series and/or have ever been on the fence about Megalobox or just want to get to know us, we still recommend tuning in! We think you'll enjoy our brand of emotion-driven discussion and insights on what makes this show so special to us.Twitter: https://twitter.com/444PodEmail: 444podc@gmail.comMusic: 'Daily' (Prod. by Lukrembo) ; https://twitter.com/LuKremBo
This week we do mid-season reviews of the anime we selected in the Spring Draft!

Sometimes the main character crashes his motorcycle several times in the first episode and you think "this dude rules" Currently watching: MEGALOBOX Episodes 1-2 Send questions in to @youlovetohearit on Twitter Join our Discord Here Our Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/postgameofthrones
