Hi everyone, and welcome back to TV Reload! Thank you for clicking or downloading today’s episode, featuring Australian Idol host Scott Tweedie. This Sunday night, we’ll see our Top 6 take the stage in what I’d call a very tight six-horse race to the Idol crown! Scott has joined me each year to chat about Australia’s longest-running singing competition, and today, he’s bringing some exclusive backstage insights. What better time to have him on the podcast than right before the Top 6 finalists battle it out? In this episode, Scott shares his favourite performances from each of the remaining artists and reveals what these contenders are really like behind the scenes. Tweedie also opens up about the future of the show and why this year’s judging panel is a lock moving forward. Of course, I couldn’t resist digging into Scott’s personal life—so we’ll also chat about why he’s still single, especially after rumours that Ricki-Lee has been working overtime to find him a wife! You’ll hear everything from Scott’s most famous matches on Raya, what he insists on having stocked in his dressing room, and even the hilarious texts his mum sends him after each show. There’s so much to cover, with plenty of behind-the-scenes revelations. So sit back, relax, and get ready as we dive into the world of Australian Idol, returning this Sunday night!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Scott Tweedie is a presenter, producer and breakfast connoisseur. After recently co-hosting Australian Idol, today we find Scott in Venice beach taking on Hollywood. But no doubt, his biggest achievement to-date was being crowned house captain in high school. Scott was the year above me at school where he was a real 'man of the people' and in this conversation we learn that nothing changed. Tweeds has an infectious enthusiasm and innate ability to squeeze joy out of every moment. In this episode, we cover Scott's current projects, how he manages uncertainty and doubt, moving to New York just before covid hit and we even touch on Tweed's skincare routine. Enjoy this very fun conversation with one of the "Brown Snake's" greatest exports, Scott Tweedie. We hear how people can be affected by mental health not just directly, but also indirectly like Liv openly shares on the episode from seeing some of her closest people go through their struggles and how many people still shy away from the subject at hand when they feel they have nothing to contribute to the conversation because they haven't been directly affected personally. This is such an important episode especially for those who feel exactly like this in not thinking that they have anything to say or advocate for. The importance of knowing Mental Health can and does effect everyone of us throughout our life being that either directly or like this episode discusses indirectly. In Episode Four we sit down with TV host Scott Tweedie who you might remember from Episode One in which we turned the tables and he interviewed Mike. Scott shares some insights from his career in the TV industry, in what can be a tough and gruelling environment, often with an element of the disingenuous. Scott's take on fame and profile is a refreshing one as he looks to use it in order to give back and help those around him. This was a great chat. In Episode One of the show, our host Mike Campbell is immediately put into the position of interviewee as TV host Scott Tweedie comes in to ask Mike the hard questions. You’ll see Mike share some of the more personal aspects of his life and around conversations he struggles with. The purpose behind this episode is to set the tone and example for those episodes to come. Mike put himself in the hot seat, so to speak, in order to show he is also willing to have these tougher, more meaningful conversations, and not just sit int he interviewer chair and fire challenging questions. We initially hear about how Mike got into becoming a Man Coach, through his own journey and experience working with men around the world. We learn about Mike’s history a bit more, especially being involved heavily in the more macho culture of rugby for many years. From here Scott asks Mike to describe and get into some of the kinds of conversations Mike has a hard time with, or maybe even avoids. We hear from Mike about whether having more meaningful conversations for work can lead to more in all areas of life. Scott asks Mike for his definition of what it means to be a man in 2016 and how he measures success personally. Mike then shares a little more about his younger self, what conversation he would have with him now given the chance. This extends into some key turning points in Mike’s life. We then hear about the one person Mike would love to have a conversation with. Scott also prompts Mike into sharing one thing that he never talks about. From here we move into the bigger conversation that Mike is having. Finally we hear Mike’s take on how social media and the digital ages is changing the face of masculinity.
