Few TV dramas have had such an instant seismic effect as ITV's miniseries on the Horizon scandal, Mr Bates vs The Post Office. How do searing stories of miscarriages of justice make it to screen in a ruthless television environment? And what makes them so effective at concentrating public outrage and forcing change? Simon Heath, CEO and Creative Director of World Productions, was Executive Producer of Line of Duty and the acclaimed Hillsborough drama Anne. He tells Andrew Harrison what makes true-life drama work – and how it does the job that World In Action used to do. • “To be able to launch a drama while a public inquiry is still ongoing is just fantastic because you're able to point the audience immediately toward a live political issue, and the two things feed on each other.” - Simon Heath • “Some stories do lend themselves more readily to dramatisation, and there was something about the Post Office Scandal that you could essentially distil it down to the little people versus this out of control, faceless bureaucracy that was crushing them.” - Simon Heath Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/bunkercast Written and Presented by Andrew Harrison. Simon is a Counsellor and Ecotherapist and all round lovely chap with an excellent beard to boot. Ecotherapy is an umbrella term for traditional counselling that takes place in the natural world. Simon will explain all about that, but let's just say, it's remarkable what it can do for everyone on so many levels, as its effective immersion in nature affords us a real visceral connection or re-connection to self and with that, a sense of freedom. As well as having his own private practice, he also works in Devon Counselling College as a tutor and today we talk about mental health, the value of therapy and how walking can help us move forward and gives us choices on where we want to go. www.roamingtherapies.com The Sport Walk Show: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg3Ug6KhpfwHdkou5L_Pf2A The counsellor directory: https://www.bacp.co.uk/search/Therapists --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/stepping-out/message

As an evidence based practitioner my guest (Rob Baker) is right at home and his work is ultimately about how people feel about their jobs and their work. By 1992, Giant Baba had rebuilt All Japan's reputation when it came to quality wrestling. Having hired a crew of top notch Gaijin including "Doctor Death" Steve Williams, Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy and Stan "The Lariat" Hansen. The top of his home grown talent had been thinned with the departure Genichiro Tenryu and his roster to SWS, so in the spring of 1992 Baba launched his youth offensive. James is joined by Simon Heath as they explore the '92 Championship Carnival Tour and the impact it had on King's Raod style.
James is joined by Simon Heath this week and after a big come down from the G! they return to the Beginner's Guide to Japanese Wrestling looking at FMW in 1992. FMW in '92 was a strange place, they toured Mexico and the USA, you know kinda like Japanese companies do now. They had a heel champion who was a vaguely racist Indian stereotypical caricature, um, okay. And they had a resurgent women's division that had been held down and never given an opportunity to shine until now. Oh yes and some odd MMA matches between World Champions and ground based fighters . . . so essentially the predicted everything about 2017 but the Trump Presidency.
This week James is joined by Alex Edwards, Alex Watt, Chelsea Spollen and Simon Heath to celebrate the glory of the G1 Climax Final from Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Japan. After a grueling month, the final two wrestlers went into a no time limit match for the G1 Title and the opportunity to main event at Wrestle Kingdom in January. Also on a stacked under card, The Young Bucks defended their IWGP Jnr. Tag Team Titles against Taguchi Japan, Taguchi and Ricochet, and War Machine defended their titles against the Bullet Club pairing of Hangman Paige and Cody.
James is joined by Simon Heath for this bonus episode covering nights 10 & 11 of the G1 Climax Tournament. Pretty deep into the tournament now, options are closing for those hoping to win the whole shebang, and Simon takes his usual round about path to wrestling commentary. Juice Robinson in Revenge of Taguchi Gun and the hair fatigue index.
James is joined by Simon Heath, Chelsea Spollen and Alex Edwards to discuss the 4th, 5th and 6th nights of the G1 Climax Tournament. This week so the whole company back on the road, getting out of Tokyo and back on the bus, which makes an even longer grind. The Truepenny Show finds out who is keeping their performance socks up in what has turned out to be a classic in the making.
James is joined by a host of guests to review the action in this year's G1 Climax Tournament. in the first half of the show, Ben Spindler is on tap to talk about night one. Then Chelsea Spollen, Alex Watt and Simon Heath, bring you a podcast from Manchester. Fifteen matches to look at in total, and the pressure starts now.
This is a very special Truepenny Show, the first recorded on the road as James ventures to Manchester and meets up with his long time friend and cohort Alex Watt, and adds a new member to the Truepenny Show roster in Simon Heath. Together they discuss the SWS WWF Super Wrestle card of late 1991 and talk about the rise of Genichiro Tenryu's new promotion that he formed with the help of the WWF after leaving All Japan Pro Wrestling. So join the team for a roller coaster ride of King's Road, Sports Entertainment style.
Actors Danny Mays, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar, writer and executive producer Jed Mercurio and executive producer Simon Heath discuss the making of the third series of BAFTA-nominated BBC drama Line of Duty.
Музыканты участвующие в альбоме : - Luca Zabbini / keyboards, bass, backing vocals - Luca Pancaldi / lead vocals - Eric Ombelli / drums - Marco Mazzuoccolo / guitars Приглашённый музыкант - Vittorio De Scalzi / vocals, flute on (3) 04.06.15 известен своим участием в легендарной итальянской группе New Trolls.
