Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld, author of The Soros Agenda, is the Founder and President of the New York-based American Center for Democracy and the Economic Warfare Institute. Dr. Ehrenfeld's multidisciplinary approach encompasses economic warfare and Weapons of Mass Effect (WME), including disinformation, free speech, indoctrination, propaganda, PC coercion, lawfare, corruption, money laundering, Political Islam, terrorist financing, Narco-Terrorism, the links between global criminal and radical networks and Jihadi/terrorist groups. Dr. Ehrenfeld focuses on identifying patterns of seemingly unrelated domestic and foreign events as they link to threaten the U.S. political, social, and economic stability and its financial system and other matters related to U.S. and Western democracies' security. Dr. Ehrenfeld successfully challenged a lawsuit launched by a Saudi financier of al Qaeda in the UK as a weapon to silence her and others from exposing him and his ilk. Dr. Ehrenfeld's initiative and efforts led to the passage of New York State's anti-libel tourism, aka "Rachel's Law, " and the SPEECH Act, signed into law by President Obama in August 2010. These laws protect American writers and publishers in print and on the Internet from the enforcement of foreign libel judgments in the US. She has more than 1,500 publications, five books, and many academic and policy papers. She was published by the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Forbes, Newsweek, FOX News, CNN, Los Angeles Times, Guardian, Herald Tribune, Huffington Post, New York Sun, and many others. Graham E. Fuller specializes in long-range forecasting of geopolitics. In fact, Fuller is a former vice chair of the National Intelligence Council at CIA responsible for long-term forecasting. He also served as a CIA operations officer overseas for two decades, with much of his time being spent in the Middle East. He served as the CIA Station Chief in Kabul and is the author of such books as A World Without Islam (2010) and The Future of Political Islam (2003). He is a noted analyst on Islamist movements and continues to write extensively on issues pertaining to U.S. foreign policy, the Middle East, and geopolitics. Graham joined me for a conversation about Assad's overthrow and what it means for various geopolitical players including the U.S. Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the Gulf states. We ended up having a more broad discussion that led into many different areas including: - Explaining the phenomena that has come to be known as "Political Islam" sans the tabloid clickbait that has unfortunately something attended the non-academic literature on the topic - Graham's critique of John Mearsheimer's Realist school of thought in regards to international relations. Graham believes there is great value in Mearsheimer's analysis, but makes the case that Realism as a school of thought is too often mechanistic and deterministic in how it perceives the course of geopolitical trends - The U.S.'s endless "Search for Enemies" and the consequences that approach to foreign policy creates, in relation to, for example, the U.S.-China relationship - The question of HTS and its leader Abu Muhammed al-Jolani; how will the govern?; HTS's administration of Idlib; how al-Jolani is, in the immediate, approaching the West and Israel - Israel and Turkey's strikes in Syria; Turkey's geopolitical concerns over the Kurds in Syria; the far-right elements that have been unleashed in Israel, especially since the October 7th, 2023 attack and how that effects both Israel and the Middle East more broadly - And much, much more!

Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - Lk 16:1-8- Jesus said to His disciples, "A rich man had a steward who was reported to him for squandering his property. He summoned him and said, 'What is this I hear about you? Prepare a full account of your stewardship, because you can no longer be my steward.' The steward said to himself, 'What shall I do, now that my master is taking the position of steward away from me? I am not strong enough to dig and I am ashamed to beg. I know what I shall do so that, when I am removed from the stewardship, they may welcome me into their homes.' He called in his master's debtors one by one. To the first he said, 'How much do you owe my master?' He replied, 'One hundred measures of olive oil.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note. Sit down and quickly write one for fifty.' Then to another he said, 'And you, how much do you owe?' He replied, 'One hundred measures of wheat.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note; write one for eighty.' And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently. For the children of this world are more prudent in dealing with their own generation than the children of light." Our guest Mohammed Sulaiman was raised in the Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza strip. He has survived multiple Israeli bombings of Gaza over the last two decades, including a 2013 shelling of his home while he was conducting an interview with CNN. Currently, his entire family is in Gaza as Israel continues to unleash a brutal massacre and bombardment campaign on the people of Gaza, which has already resulted in the killing of over 10,000 Gazans, including 4,000 children. In this conversation, we discuss the rise of Hamas, how Hamas fits within the wider phenomenon of political Islam and we analyze the brutal genocidal bombardment of Israel on the Gaza strip in response to the Hamas attacks into Israel in October 7th. Mohammed earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of South Australia on political Islam. Jonathan Spyer is anything but an armchair analyst. He joins Eve Harow to discuss the regional aspects of Israel's war on Hamas. His experiences in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq have left him sadly not surprised by the unfathomable violence and cruelty which was also the modus operandi of ISIS, destroyed by the US and Britain. Will they let Israel do the same or will the usual double standards apply? Eve has spent the week raising money for security and medical equipment for first responders (including Arugot Farm) and for games for evacuated families. (She's also baked many cookies for soldiers.) Standing with Israel is standing with the reason God created humanity.

Little did Elianu Hia know that a video he posted on Facebook in early 2021 would shape Indonesian policy and turn his life upside down. A Christian in a Muslim-majority nation, Mr. Hia objected to vocational school authorities in the West Sumatran city of Padang, obliging his daughter to wear a hijab. Mr. Hia's experience tells the story of see-saw swings in the Muslim world between trends towards increased religious individuality, more personal understanding of religion, and skepticism towards religious and temporal authority, and support for greater public adherence to religious norms and often state-aligned clerics.
On September 13th of last year 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was visiting Tehran with her family, having traveled from Irans' Kurdish region. While in Tehran she was stopped by Iran's morality police for improperly wearing her hijab, or head covering. Three days after her arrest she was dead. In the days, weeks, and months following her death Iran has seen nationwide protests, and while protests are not a particularly new thing in Iran, what's unprecedented about these protests are the calls not simply for reforms but for the toppling of Iran's theocratic regime, a regime that has been in power since the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Today's episode provides an update on the protests. Last month also saw another seismic event in Iranian, and Middle East politics. After decades of saber rattling, proxy wars, and general hostility, China helped to negotiate the reestablishment of diplomatic ties between The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. What this means for the two regional super powers, for those within their spheres of influence, and for geopolitics will be the focus of the second half of our show. Dr. Assal Rad received her PhD in Middle Eastern History from the University of California, Irvine in 2018. Her PhD research focused on Modern Iran, with an emphasis on national identity formation, and identity in post-revolutionary Iran. She's also author of “The State of Resistance: Politics, Culture, and Identity in Modern Iran. Dr. Pouya Alimagham is a historian of the modern Middle East at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His areas of expertise range from revolutionary movements, Political Islam and post-Islamism, terrorism, US foreign policy, and contemporary politics. He's also the author of “Contesting the Iranian Revolution: The Green Uprisings" (Cambridge University Press).

Aksoy, Ozan and Diego Gambetta. 2022. From ‘revolution' to war: deciphering Armenia's populist foreign policy-making processConversation with Dr. Vahram Ter-MatevosyanArmenian News Network/Groong - September 12, 2022Recently two AUA professors (Prof. Hovhannes Nikoghosyan and Prof. Vahram Ter-Matevosyan) published a paper in Taylor and Francis Online (TANDF) that analyzes the foreign policy decision making (FPDM) process of the Nikol Pashinyan administration, titled: "From ‘revolution' to war: deciphering Armenia's populist foreign policy-making process". In this episode, we talk to one of the authors of the paper, Prof. Ter-Matevosyan.TOPICS:* Introduction (02:22) - We discuss how the idea for the paper arose and the process through which the two scholars went through to conduct their research. * TURKEY (22:51) - One specific aspect of the war, that played a significant role in the outcome, was Turkey's involvement. In our opinion, just by sharing with Azerbaijan accurate NATO signals and satellite intelligence in the form of targets to destroy is more than enough to consider its role as decisive. Turkey went beyond that of course. Thus, paying attention and estimating Turkey's willingness to intervene on behalf of Azerbaijan would be critical for Armenia's leadership. We of course have seen different members of the Pashinyan team assure the press and public, even weeks before the war, that Turkey would not dare intervene. - Have you looked at this aspect of Armenia's foreign policy? - What did Pashinyan's team do (or perhaps didn't do) in this area to accurately assess the risk of intervention from Turkey and to put mitigations to counter this risk? - Was there any specific contact with Turkey in the run-up to Sep 2020? - How critical were Pashinyan's and Armen Sarkissian's statements on the 100th anniversary of Treaty of Sevres?* RUSSIA ( 37:18) - Many, especially those in the pro-Pashinyan camp today, blame Russia for throwing Armenia under the bus for better relations with Turkey. - What was the conduct of Pashinyan's foreign policy with Russia like, preceding and during the war? - Are the claims that Russia deceived its ally Armenia correct? - Did Russia in recent years ever send a signal to Armenia that it would help defend Artsakh? * AZERBAIJAN (46:56) - Many of the analysts we talk to state that it was pretty much obvious that Aliyev was gearing up for war starting from 2011 when he effectively rejected the peace deal being considered at the time. It is apparent that Azerbaijan also bid its time, preparing militarily but also tactically selecting a suitable period in time. In 2020, the world was preoccupied with Covid and in the US it was election season, as well as a period of near isolationism from foreign involvements in the Trump administration. - Despite the external factors, was there anything that Armenia did bilaterally with Azerbaijan that could have delayed the war or helped change its outcome? - What was the outcome of the infamous Dushanbe elevator meeting?Hosts:- Hovik Manucharyan TW/@HovikYerevan- Asbed Bedrossian TW/@qubriqGuest: - Prof. Vahram Ter-Matevosyan, an associate Professor and Chair of the Political Science and International Affairs Program at AUA. His research interests focus on Turkish politics, Kemalism, Political Islam & Security in the South Caucasus.Episode 164 | Recorded: Sunday, September 12, 2022

An Interview by Apostate ImamAn Interview by Apostate Imam The power of Political Islam grows daily. The first step in stopping its growth is to know and understand the doctrine of Islam, in particularly who Mohammed is and what he did. Muslims are a protected minority in the US so the best way to oppose Islam is when Muslims run for office. The political platform is still open to free speech. We must challenge Muslim candidates, ask them hard questions, hand out brochures when they speak. Educate Kafirs about Sharia and Mohmmed. Steve Amundson of Counter Jihad Coalition is an excellent example of how to use brochures and how to debate.
Dr Raphaël Lefèvre in conversation with Dr Neil Ketchley about his recent book, 'Jihad in the City: Militant Islamism and Contentious Politics in Tripoli' (Cambridge University Press, 2021). Militant Islamists are often assumed to be driven by global goals and transnational networks. But this narrative misses a crucial point: from Tawhid during the Lebanese civil war to Tahrir al-Sham in the current Syrian conflict, Islamist armed groups often seek to recruit and mobilize local communities not appealed by their religious ideology - certain tribes, social classes, and neighbourhoods. Why? How do they go about it? And to what extent, then, is all Islamist politics local? Dr Raphaël Lefèvre is a Senior Fellow at the University of Oxford and Research Associate at the University of Aarhus. He investigates Islamist armed groups in the Middle East. His latest book is Jihad in the City: Militant Islamism and Contentious Politics in Tripoli (Cambridge University Press, 2021). He is also the author of Ashes of Hama, the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria (Oxford University Press, 2013). His PhD thesis which he did at the University of Cambridge was awarded the Bill Gates Sr Prize by the Gates Cambridge Trust and the Syrian Studies Association Prize. Dr Neil Ketchley is Associate Professor in Politics in the Department of Politics and International Relations, the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies, and a Fellow of St Antony's College. He is a political scientist of the Arabic-speaking Middle East and North Africa working at the intersections of political sociology and comparative politics. Neil's book, Egypt in a Time of Revolution (Cambridge University Press, 2017), won the Charles Tilly Distinguished Contribution to Scholarship Award. His current research interests include episodes of mass protest in the MENA, the rise of political Islam in interwar Egypt, and the changing profiles of regional political elites. Kenneth Abramowitz, a threat analyst and author of The Multi Front War says in his book that America doesn't know it yet, but our country is fighting an international war. The fact is that the war is being waged on various fronts, both internal and external. During our interview Ken, in his keen insight explained with profound wisdom how America is fighting multiple enemies, andpeople don't even know it. There are international threats facing our nation. For example, everything that happens in Iran to the riots in our streets, it isall part of one siege. And that what we are actually fighting here is World War 3, but due to false narratives our leaders fail to see that. He explains how to defend America from Political Islam, China, North Korea, Russia, Cuba, Pandemics, and Racial Strife, and we will hear about their sympathizers. Ken uses history tomake many of his arguments, such as the rise of communism after World War 2, and the resurgence of socialism in the mainstream western world today. Also discussed was his site, Save The West, and how people can sometimes be their own worst enemy.

The purpose of Political Islam is to have the world submit to the Sharia. And how well is Political Islam doing? It is winning this great civilizational game due to the organization of the Muslim Brotherhood. Here is an analysis of their strengths. The advantages of the Muslim Brotherhood: · Great morale · Long term planning - decades, generations · Rapid response to problems · Plan and work in groups.
