Milanese, giornalista e art-director, Gisella Borioli ha scritto la storia della Design Week di Milano. Negli anni '70 e '80 si è occupata di editoria di moda e costume con riviste, libri, programmi televisivi, contribuendo in maniera fondamentale a creare l'immagine del Made in Italy. Con Superstudio negli anni '90 crea un luogo diventato mitico per gli studi in cui sono state scattate foto e girati video, ma anche tenuti eventi che hanno definito più di un decennio. episodio 027, hoy con un invitado muy especial, El Arquitecto, Diseñador, Profesor, Promotor, Constructor y amigo Claudio Del Bufalo, quien es un ejemplo del no detenerse nunca, del aprender sobre la marcha y reinventarse cada vez, y que hoy domina y dirige aDomina, su oficina de proyectos, hoy hablaremos de todo esto, y de todo ¡lo que está detrás! Claudio Del Bufalo, nació en Barquisimeto en el año 1960, estudió con los Jesuitas en el Colegio Javier hasta el 3er año, el diversificado lo estudió en el Liceo Lisandro Alvarado. estudia Arquitectura en la Universitá degli Studi di Firenze. Se gradúa con una tesis de Hotel en Florencia con su tutor Adolfo Natalini con quien trabaja como ilustrador para el concurso de la remodelación de las Cárceles de Le Murate en Florencia. Colabora con la oficina del Arquitecto Valerio Paranzino como proyectista de remodelaciones de edificios históricos en toda Italia. Fue asistente del profesor Adolfo Natalini en el curso de composición arquitectónica II. Al graduarse, funda el atelier Metáfora con sus amigos Stefano Follesa y Antonello Murgia. Donde proponen diseños de objetos y muebles para la vida doméstica, con una gran carga de misticismo, intentando la vía del diseño poético. Con el Atelier Metáfora participa en varios concursos, logrando en el segundo lugar en el concurso para reconstrucción de un lote en Largo Vía Menotti en Pisa Italia. Con sus compañeros del Atelier Metáfora exponen sus trabajos en la galería ALNO de Firenze. Publica sus trabajos en pequeñas reseñas de las revistas, AD, Vogue casa, Domus y otras. En febrero del año 1992 regresa a Venezuela, 3 días después del golpe de estado. Al caos social y político se sumó una profunda inconformidad de sus convicciones y orfandad cultural debido al cambio de territorio que lo disloca. Inmediatamente trabaja con el Arq. Imre Gozon en un proyecto para el Hotel Aquaví en el sector de Castor en el Morro de Puerto La Cruz.  En 1993 inicia su actividad como desarrollador Inmobiliario en Tucacas y Chichiriviche, en la costa oriental de Falcón. Luego desarrolla varios proyectos de condominios en Barquisimeto. En 1998 inicia su carrera como profesor contratado en la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) del taller de diseño arquitectónico. De Thurn & Taxis-site in Brussel is in volle ontwikkeling tot een nieuw stadsdeel in de kanaalzone. Het Rotterdamse architectenbureau Neutelings-Riedijk bouwde er eerder het Herman Teirlinckgebouw voor de Vlaamse overheid. Nu namen ze ook het voormalige goederenstation op de site. Gare Maritime wordt een stad in de stad, waar wonen, werken en winkelen samenvloeien. Het CIVA zet dit voorjaar het Italiaanse ontwerpbureau Superstudio in de kijker. In de jaren 1960 gaven ze een beslissende wending aan de architectuurwereld. Dirk De Meyer, docent architectuurgeschiedenis aan de UGent, ging kijken. En hij bezocht tevens de tentoonstelling Forgiven by Nature”, een solotentoonstelling van de ook Italiaanse kunstenaar en architect Gianni Pettena, die plaatsvindt in La Verrière, de Brusselse ruimte van de Fondation d’entreprise Hermès, en ISELP, het Hoger Instituut voor de Studie van de Beeldtaal.

Il presente è il futuro del passato”, progetto artistico e culturale che animerà il Gaggenau DesignElementi Hub per tutto il 2020 e realizzata in collaborazione con il progetto non profit Cramum."Leda e il Cigno Nero" è la prima mostra personale meneghina di Julia Bornefeld, artista nota a livello internazionale per aver portato nella scultura il dibattito femminista. "Julia Bornefeld è l'artista dell'indefinito e dell'indeterminazione, maestra nel sintetizzare e far coesistere la razionalità e il peso della materia con l'irrazionalità e la leggerezza del pensiero," spiega il curatore Sabino Maria Frassà. "L'impeto e le forme delle sue opere partono sempre da forme e oggetti comuni - piume, uova, valigie, ombrelli, uccelli - per raccontare qualcosa al di là di ciò che si vede. L'artista non progetta mai i suoi lavori, ma vive di fulminee intuizioni in grado di raccontare l'universo, richiamando forme universali e immagini archetipali".Julia Bornefeld ha deciso di raccontare attraverso le piume, protagoniste della mostra, la fragilità e la resilienza dell'umanità di fronte alle avversità: al fianco di opere storiche lo spettatore potrà scoprire un corpo di opere inedite, realizzate durante il lockdown, in cui l'immagine del cigno nero - l'evento inatteso che stravolge tutto - si fonde con il mito di Leda, simbolo di una donna e di un'umanità che sa reagire e andare avanti.L'artista spiega con queste parole la mostra e la sua filosofia di vita: “Il nostro vivere è un inarrestabile viaggio senza alcuna meta prestabilita. 嘉宾：赵清（建筑师）主播：nada 剪辑：SJ起因是在建筑展上人挤人。想了想，这背后的原因不是一两句话能说清的。· 为何不同的艺术机构都在某一时刻意识到，该专门策划建筑展了？· 建筑要怎么展？毕竟我们在展馆里看到的都不是实物。· 如果策划一片厉害的建筑群，它究竟是展览，还是对城市空间的再塑造？· 外国建筑师来中国办展的时间，为何与他们在中国接项目的时间如此巧合？为了展开讲讲，于是有了这样一期节目。# 名词解释：· PSA上海当代艺术博物馆，成立于 2012 年，是内地第一家公立当代艺术博物馆。PSA 的建筑由原上海南市发电厂改造而来，最有标志性的是一座大烟囱。选址在黄浦江边，一开始便有意模仿伦敦的泰特美术馆（Tate Modern）。2013 年，PSA 开始“建筑与城市”的展览和研究，举办过展览的建筑师和事务所包括：篠原一男、尤纳· 弗莱德曼、托马斯·赫斯维克、藤本壮介、坂本一成、伯纳德· 屈米、伊东丰雄、巴克里希纳· 多西、坂茂、SuperStudio 超级工作室。其中又以日本建筑师居多。· 石上纯也日本建筑师，毕业于东京艺术大学。石上纯也风格明显，他的建筑常常是造型主导，而非功能，其中的代表作有“住宅与餐厅”、“森林幼儿园”、“儿童乐园”。他认为，建筑早已不再是一个简单的遮蔽物，而是巨大的世界空间里的“风景”。除了建筑，石上纯也设计桌、椅，造型同样是非常规的。· OCAT华侨城当代艺术中心，一家民营美术馆，由华侨城集团赞助。在深圳、上海、北京、西安都设有分馆。OCAT 的学术委员会主席是艺术史学者、策展人、芝加哥大学教授巫鸿。· 克莱因伊夫·克莱因（Yves Klein），法国 1950 至 1960 年代前卫艺术的代表人物，因单色画创作而出名，其中以 IKB 191为最，并出现了“克莱因蓝”一词。克莱因还创作了《单音-沉默交响曲》（The Monotone-Silence Symphony），乐团将单一音符持续演奏 10 分钟，再进入 10 分钟的沉默。· 谷之教堂石上纯也在山东日照白鹭湾设计的一座教堂。与传统教堂造型大相径庭，如弯曲折叠的纸片，高耸轻薄，缝隙狭长。据称 2020 年将完工。· 光之教堂日本建筑师安藤忠雄的代表作之一，1989 年建成，位于日本大阪。设计的重点是在教堂的一面墙上开了一个十字形的洞，营造出特殊的神圣感。· 朗香教堂位于巴黎东南面的朗香，柯布西耶设计，1954 年建成。它的风格难以归类，不规则的形状和曲面完全不同于当时流行的“白色盒子”式的现代建筑风格，也是非常不“柯布西耶”的建筑作品。· Superstudio超级工作室，源自 1960 年代的意大利激进建筑小组 Superstudio，被认为影响了诸多建筑师，但至今没有一件真正的建筑作品。他们提出的“超建筑”，主张重新审视建筑，把它作为一种批判政治、社会的文化工具。· 王大闳台湾重要的现代主义建筑师，和贝聿铭是哈佛建筑系的同窗。王大闳在战后的台湾设计了许多经典建筑，最出名的是国父纪念馆，但王大闳本人一直认为这是个“妥协”的作品，并不满意。后来，王大闳的传记作者倪安宇写道，从许多官建筑设计案中，“王大闳悟出了建筑为政治工具的道理”。 · 冯纪忠、王大闳建筑展指 2014 年在 OCAT 上海分馆举办的《久违的现代：冯纪忠、王大闳建筑文献展》。推荐阅读《史建谈“久违的现代：冯纪忠、王大闳建筑文献展”》，http://artforum.com.cn/words/7033· 埃莱娜·比奈建筑摄影师。埃莱娜擅长从建筑的细部入手，对建筑提出个性化的诗意解读，而非强调建筑的整体结构和通常的空间感。除了现代建筑，埃莱娜还拍摄了苏州园林。· 上海、威尼斯、深港双年展，和建筑的关系上海双年展从 2000 年第三届开始，加入了建筑的部分；威尼斯建筑双年展从1980 年开始举办，此前，建筑是艺术双年展的一部分。深港双年展的全称是“深港城市建筑双城双年展”，是全球少有的以城市或城市化为固定主题的双年展，特别突出建筑师的角色。除了城市更新，也谈论城中村、边缘地带和公民意识。· 菲利普·约翰逊美国现代主义建筑师，普利兹克奖的第一位得主。早年在哈佛大学主修历史和哲学，未能结业。后成为“包豪斯”代表人物密斯·凡·德罗的追随者。1930年，菲利普·约翰逊在 MoMA 成立了建筑与设计部门，对包豪斯和现代主义风格在美国的流行有很大影响。· 现代建筑国际展览会1932 年在 MoMA 举办的一场重要展览“国际样式：1922年以来的建筑”。策展人为菲利普·约翰逊和亨利-罗素·希区柯克，展出的重要建筑师包括柯布西耶、格罗皮乌斯和密斯。但也因未能重视美国国内重要的建筑师弗兰克·赖特，而引发争议。· 密斯“包豪斯”代表人物密斯·凡·德罗，主张极简风格，名言是“少即是多”。1929 年设计的巴塞罗那国际博览会的德国馆是其代表作。1937 年移民美国，并在芝加哥长期生活。推荐阅读：西班牙插画师、作家 Agustín Ferrer Casas 创作的漫画《密斯》。· Mies in BerlinMoMA 在 2001 年推出的展览· MoMA 的建筑改造MoMA 在 1997 年花费 8.58 亿美元改造，2006 年建成后展览及项目空间多了一倍。2017 年，MoMA 又计划耗资 4 亿美元扩建，今年 10 月重新开幕。至此，MoMA 已经翻新 6 次。一些人相信扩建翻新能让博物馆获得新生，但反对者认为，这不过是地产故事。· Steven Holl美国建筑师，以设计美术馆和文化教育类的公共建筑著称。在中国的项目包括成都来福士和北京当代 MOMA，皆为大型商业综合体。Steven Holl 认为，他在中国遇到了理想的甲方，而在美国，1980 年代开始建筑业的衰落，让建筑师失去尊严。· 西扎阿尔瓦罗·西扎，葡萄牙建筑师，普利茨克奖得主，颁奖词是 “西扎借由光来塑形他的设计，有一种似是而非的朴实感，并坦率地展现在世人眼前。”在中国美术学院设计的中国国际设计博物馆在 2018 年完工。· 四方当代艺术湖区位于南京佛手湖附近，最早地产商陆军打算建造精品住宅项目。2003 年，其子陆寻邀请 12 位中国建筑师、 12 位国际建筑师，计划推出建筑群。· 长城下的公社坐落在长城脚下的建筑群，2002 年初完成，由地产公司 SOHO 的张欣和潘石屹投资，邀请 12 名亚洲知名建筑师设计，定位是“私人收藏的当代建筑艺术作品”。曾受邀参加威尼斯双年展。现在是由凯宾斯基管理的高档酒店。· 金华建筑艺术公园2002 年开始的计划。公园中的 17 个小型公共建筑由 17 组、21 位建筑师、艺术家设计。公园于 2007 年开放，但 2012 年被报道“荒废”。· Heatherwick托马斯·赫斯维克（Thomas Heatherwick），英国建筑师，设计夺人眼球，常因合理性引发争议。因为 2010 年世博会的英国馆（“种子教堂”）设计，变得更出名。最近备受关注的是纽约哈德逊广场上的 Vessel。· B.I.G.正当红的丹麦建筑师 Barke Ingels 创办的事务所，他的设计理念是既要可持续发展，又要有趣好玩。· 皮亚诺伦佐·皮亚诺（Renzo Piano），意大利建筑师，普利茨克奖得主。最著名的作品是巴黎的蓬皮杜艺术中心。他在中国的第一个项目是江南布衣新总部，位于杭州。· 乡建指乡村建筑。包括民宿，也包括政府主导的农民住房的改造，有时两者会有模糊地带。· 泰晤士小镇位于上海松江，靠近大学城，是 2001 年政府发起的“一城九镇”项目的一部分，规划面积 1 平方公里，希望效仿英国的农村村庄，设计公司也来自英国。2004 年交付时，很快售罄，价格不菲，但实际常住的人很少，来拍婚纱的人很多。除了泰晤士小镇，其余 8 个郊区小镇分别模仿北欧、意大利、西班牙、加拿大、荷兰和德国的建筑风格。· “孤独图书馆”三联海边公益图书馆，由建筑师董功设计，2015 年在网上走红。所在的阿那亚是一个地产项目，位于北戴河海岸，已开发 6 期，网红建筑也与日俱增。· 王澍建筑师，普利茨克奖得主，中国美院建筑艺术学院院长，工作室起名“业余”。王澍大部分建成项目都坐落在杭州和宁波，他设计了中国美院象山校区；在杭州富阳，王澍同时完成了“文村”的民宅改造，和富阳美术馆、博物馆、档案馆。· 西岸位于上海的徐汇滨江地区，政府希望效仿巴黎左岸、伦敦南岸，打造文化地标。现有龙美术馆（西岸馆）、余德耀美术馆、上海摄影艺术中心、油罐艺术中心。· 衡复微空间位于上海的衡复街道的五岔路口，面积 20 平方米，原为一家轮胎店，在 2017 年由梓耘斋建筑事务所改造为展览空间，周边的菜场、居民楼的立面也被修缮。但该空间现已改为“智能交投与人工交投相结合的资源回收站”。· 冯纪忠建筑师，同济大学建筑与城市规划学院创始人，创办中国第一个城市规划专业及风景园林专业，担任同济建筑系系主任 27 年。1946 年从奥地利维也纳留学回国，曾参与“大上海都市计划”，但计划最终没能实施。冯纪忠反对苏联专家对上海发展“摊大饼”的主张，认为要保留老城区。1978 年，受上海市政府委托，冯纪忠设计了方塔园，“与古为新”，但受到批评。冯纪忠还设计了何陋轩。· 何陋轩位于上海松江的方塔园东南角，一片竹林深处，1986 年建成。建筑师王澍非常钟爱何陋轩，他认为何陋轩的“中国性”不是靠“表面的形式或符号”支撑，而是有强烈意识，并“贯彻到建造的细枝末节”。冯纪忠自己的说法是，何陋轩早十年做不了，因为文革刚过，接受不了不伦不类的东西。晚十年也做不了，中国的经济已经发展起来了，不会让他以茅草和竹子去盖一间房子，这显得太贫穷了。· 延光阁位于苏州艺圃园内，苏州园林中最大的水榭。设备：Blue Yeti（网红产品的扑街，已弃用）片尾：赵十「上层建筑」是一档关于城市的播客节目。从设计出发，谈论城市有关的一切，既谈经济基础，也谈上层建筑。欢迎给我们写信 senttozoo@gmail.com

We kicked this episode off with a brief history of fiction and the speculative design. Beginning in the 60s looking at Archigram, Ant Farm, Superstudio, and Buckminster Fuller.  We briefly explored how these groups approached speculative futures and discussed the categories those may fall into.   Then we moved on to examples of the current paradigm, focus on the merits of Jimenez Lai, Near Future Laboratory, and Tomorrow's Thoughts Today and disucssed the importance of grounding the fiction in a relevant real world issue. . Then we discussedthe role of fiction, how is it a useful tool and when is it merely art for the sake of art. One particular note was how it relates to sci-fi and its job of describing design to the larger public. In this episode Andrew Clancy interviews Dr Cat Rossi. Cat is a design historian, with a socially and politically engaged approach to researching and communicating design history. Consistently provocative, insightful and nimble in her ability to weave multiple narratives, Cats work allows new light to be cast on the areas she explores. In this conversation she takes us us on a lyrical tour of the design history of Nightclubs, and their relationship to broader architectural currents, with particular emphasis on the post-war Italian radical tradition (Gruppo 9999; Superstudio et al). We also talk about the exhibition she is co-curating, and which opens in the Vitra Design Museum on 17 March 2018.
