Because of the show, I became a dealer for Gideon Optics and Xtech Tactical, and I've built a great relationship with Mitchell Defense. The products have been exceptional, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Jason @ Standard Arms LLC. Yes in NJ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from Warrior Of The Weekend - Integrity. Professionalism. Dignity. Honor. Respect. Even though this podcast severely lacks all of these traits, I still give it 5 stars for effort. What it does have is- Autism. Patriotism. Pathetisism. Diabetism. Not athleticism. These inglorious bastards get me through my workday. Great unbiased gun info. And Jeremy, I'll C U Next Tuesday. Ha! Please don't rage kill me you're not a cunt. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from Scout 389 - Gentlemen, I've been a longtime listener of the show and have made multiple purchases of firearms, and products based of the recommendations provided by the cast. I've blown the budget on stuff from Swampfox, Gideon, Midwest, Brownell's, etc. One of the things that I never spent the money on was Second Call Defense. I always told myself that "I'll pick it up later". That is until a couple of weekends back when a family member of mine got into a shooting. He was hit but managed to kill his attacker. And while it is currently looking like it was a case of justified self defense, it really hit home to me that a.) This could happen any time, any where, and b.) Every bullet that you fire in this type of situation has a lawyer attached. The next day I signed up for Second Call Defense. I wish I would have done it sooner, but at least I am covered now. Thank you for the recommendation and for the great show. Also, Jeremy is a cunt.

(00:00-24:04) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s heroic shot by Tyrese Haliburton to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks. They recap the entire game from start to finish and play all the calls from the shot from around the world. (24:04-42:06) – Pacers beat writer, Dustin Dopirak, from the IndyStar joins Query & Company to recap last night’s win for the Pacers over the Bucks. Dustin talks about the way he believes that the team will handle Tyrese Haliburton moving forward with his hip injury, assesses whether T.J. McConnell will start getting some rest the rest of the season, and then notes that Indiana really could have blown out Milwaukee if they made some of the wide open threes they missed. (42:06-46:32) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie give away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in April! (46:32-1:07:53) – Colts beat writer, Joel Erickson, from the IndyStar joins the program to ask questions about his wager with Robin the Genie. Joel also believes that the additions of Charvarius Ward and Camryn Bynum will allow the Colts to have a better evaluation of the quarterback competition and debates with Jake if they should take a flier on Shedeur Sanders if he’s available at fourteen for Indianapolis. (1:07:53-1:17:36) – After the game last night during Inside The NBA, Shaq misspoke when talking about the head coach of the Detroit Pistons. Jake asks Eddie about the popularity of the show still and if it’s still entertaining even though the crew has gotten older. (1:17:36-1:25:52) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie providing an update on Purdue and Indiana’s NCAA Tournament fate in the eyes of Joe Lunardi from ESPN. (1:25:52-1:49:51) – Last night Clemson’s Brad Brownell was asked about his interest in the Indiana head coaching job. Jake plays what Brownell’s response was to being questioned about it. Also, they get back on the discussion of Tyrese Haliburton’s miraculous four-point play by playing all the calls from around the world. (1:49:51-2:02:37) – IU athletics beat writer, Zach Osterman, from the IndyStar joins Jake Query to provide an update on where things are at with the Indiana coaching search, reacts to some of the names that Jake peppers him with as to whether or not they are still in the mix for the job, and believes that Indiana would be a team sweating all weekend if they lose to Oregon and be a team that misses the NCAA Tournament because of bid stealers. (2:02:37-2:08:24) – Today’s show closes with JMV joining the guys in the studio to discuss last night’s game for the Indiana Pacers and how different this team is with Tyrese Haliburton in the lineup!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today, ladies and gentlemen, is the first panel episode on The Sunday Shakeout. To start off this series, I partnered up with Jean Claude, also known on Instagram as Startline Running, to bring to you some of the top athletes in the Washington State 3A division, including Owen Powell, Vince Recupero, Hudson Atrosh, and Kade Brownell. I have had a few of these on the show before, but bringing them together on one panel episode was truly something else. These guys are national caliber and some of the biggest stars in all of high school running. It was great to hear some of their perspectives and banter as we draw closer to the 2025 Outdoor Track Season. The guys gave their thoughts on it being their senior year, the final dance of their high school careers, some of the personal growth and transformations they have undergone throughout their four years of high school, and really everything in between. Truly, this episode has it all. It gets a little spicy at times with rivalries but I know that anyone listening is here for the action. And we have delivered. Before we get into today's episode, please, wherever you are, in your car, at work, on a run, give this podcast a follow and a five-star review on whatever platform you are listening on. That goes a long way in supporting the growth of The Sunday Shakeout so that I can keeping bringing to you some of the greatest stories in the sport of running and in that process, share love and passion for track and field and distance running. So, without further delay, please enjoy the inaugural panel episode of The Sunday Shakeout.

In a mere three years, Terrence Oglesby has established himself as a successful college basketball broadcaster and analyst. It's taken lots of hustle and networking, but most of all Oglesby's continued upward trajectory is a tribute to his smooth style and his strong command of the game. Oglesby's duties consist of: Analyst for Charlotte Hornets home games; ESPN; FOX; NBA TV; The Field of 68; and CBS Sports Network. Just this past week he was in Milwaukee broadcasting a game Monday night, and by the next afternoon he was driving from Atlanta to Clemson to work his alma mater's game against Eastern Kentucky. The former sharpshooter for Oliver Purnell spent several years living in Clemson, but last fall he moved his family to Greenville so he could be closer to the airport. Oglesby gives his thoughts on the current state of Clemson basketball under Brad Brownell. He's convinced that Brownell is going to lead the Tigers to sustained prominence as Brownell continues to take advantage of the transfer portal and maintaining the relationships with major donors that are necessary to pay for high-end talent in the NIL era.

In this episode, Brownell Landrum, author of *The End, A Love Story to the Universe*, and the *We Meet Again* trilogy, guides us through a powerful meditation to clear negative energies and uplift our spirits. Brownell explains how everything is made of energy, and while some energies, like love, elevate us, others can bring us down.Using a guided visualization with a special “light beam,” Brownell helps us locate and bind all forms of negative influences—whether it's low vibrations, disruptive forces, or even “energy vampires.” This meditation offers a transformative release, leaving you feeling lighter and more empowered. The process encourages releasing these energies into the light to be repolarized into positive forces.(Listeners are reminded to engage in this meditation while relaxed and never during activities requiring full attention. Billy Donlon goes way back with Brad Brownell -- all the way back to when Brownell was an assistant at UNC-Wilmington and Donlon played for the school. Donlon later served as an assistant for Brownell when Brownell was head coach at UNC-W, and then he followed him to Wright State when Brownell got that job. After Brownell left for Clemson, Donlon took over for him at Wright State and lasted six seasons. Donlon has been Brownell's associate head coach for the past two seasons. He joins The Dubcast to reflect on the Tigers' stirring Elite Eight run and all the things that went into it. Donlon also goes deep on his life story: His grandparents came to America from Ireland, living in New York after entering via Ellis Island. Donlon's father was an assistant coach for Providence and played a major role in recruiting the team that went to the Final Four in 1987. He had left a year earlier to join Bill Foster at Northwestern. Donlon remembers growing up in the Chicago area when the Bulls were becoming transcendent with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and others. He routinely visited the Bulls' practice facility, and he recalls one day when Pippen and Horace Grant invited him to lunch. "I was three hours late coming home, and the cops were at my house when I got home because my mom didn't know where I was," he said.

Brownell has a particular take on how to look at mergers - it's interesting stuff that he explains at length. In the process he references Kant's categorical imperative, which ranks as one of the very most important ideas about right conduct ever articulated. As the talk about mergers comes to a close, Brownell happens to say he's in the process of turning the company into a CUSO. The vice presidency of the United States is not an easy job. As its first occupant, John Adams reportedly said, "I am nothing, but I may be everything." Another vice president, John Nance Garner, was even more blunt, saying the office was "not worth a bucket of warm spit" (and that's the clean version of what he said). Even worse, the Constitution doesn't give the vice president much to do. So why does America even have a vice president? The truth might surprise you. In this episode, legal scholar Roy E. Brownell II explains the long, bizarre odyssey of America's vice presidents. America has an unmatched record when it comes to the peaceful transfer of power. According to legal scholar Roy E. Brownell II, however, our country is not that far off from a presidential succession crisis. In this preview of an episode of "This American President," hosted by Richard Lim, Brownell covers the history of presidential succession and the flaws in the current system.
Brad Brownell visited with the media this week for the first time since his team's stirring run to the Elite Eight -- a run that was closely preceded by a brutal ACC Tournament loss to Boston College that had people screaming for his head. Brownell kept the receipts and brought some of them to a press conference where he said he deserves more credit for the long-term work that went into the Tigers' postseason spectacle. "I'm doing a ton of fundraising, folks, and I have been for 14 years," he said. "One of the reasons we were in the Elite Eight is because of all the fundraising, friend-raising, whatever you want to call it, for 14 years. It's one of the reasons we have a facility that's much nicer than it was. It's filling those premium seats. It doesn't just happen with NIL. It happens with improving your facilities. It happens with donor retention. It happens with getting folks to buy into your program enough that when (NIL) was new that our people were involved and engaged to be able to support the guys on our team to be ready for this opportunity when it did show up. We were there to meet it. "I do deserve a lot of credit for that. A lot. Because it's been a 14-year journey. And had we had a different coach, or a newer young coach at the time, it wouldn't have happened. There would have been no chance. "So that's obviously been a little bit of a sort spot of mine at times. Because I think that's gone not as noticed as I would like. And obviously it's vital. In college basketball right now, NIL is a major factor." We present the full audio from Brownell's press conference, which lasted more than 45 minutes.
“One of the main things I've learned from Shonda [Rhimes] is to focus on what you really want to see, yourself, in a season. Not necessarily what should happen. I remember on Scandal, in the writers room, we would craft what we thought were these perfectly structured stories. And Shonda would come in and pitch something that was really wild, kind of out there and maybe didn't fit perfectly into the structure,” says Jess Brownell, showrunner for Bridgerton Season 3. “Ultimately, when the show aired, that would always be the thing that Twitter would light up about. So it's taught me to work from that place first. Don't just worry about, ‘Okay, what are the beats that make sense to get from A to B?,' but ‘What's juicy? What do you want to see?'” On today's episode, Jess talks about the friends-to-lovers storyline with Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlin), and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), why the show leaned into super fun rom-com tropes this season and why sex scenes always have to be character-driven. Jess also shared this advice for writing period drama: “My advice for approaching a period piece would be approach it the same way you would a modern piece. Focus on: What are you trying to say that's new? And how are modern audiences going to connect with these characters? You can always go back and do a regency pass at the end. I often write a scene just like I would for a modern-day show and go back and fix the dialogue later,” she says. To hear more, listen to the podcast.
